I just love how this story flows along with so much emotion. I get lost in every chapter. And I particularly loved Lucius in this one. He's just the way I picture him, still pushing grown-up Draco around and still rather cranky. Love him! You do a great job with the minor characters to build up the scene, like Ron and Travis. anyway, looking forward to more. :)

Yeah, i really liked the fact that Rose has come to her senses, and more so because instead of getting together with the wrong guy she's gonna be with a guy that really likes her so that's nice and so the waiting ends up being necessary.
Plus, too much talk now would just be plainly akward.

I knew Rose wouldn't let Lily off the hook that easily, i just hope she doesn't screws it up telling someone before they go.
If she tells Ginny AFTER Lily goes missing it will easily become a bonus for the D/G relationship.

Author's Response: Yeah, sometimes I wish I'd write longer chapters too, but they're chopped up for a reason, for example the next one's with D/G. Writing their two stories at once sort of necessitates a lot of smaller chapters :) Don't worry though, in the near future, they'll be lengthening a bit ;) Thanks for you review and I'm glad you like Travis, he was never planned, just sort of came into being... I like him very much though.
The reveal about why Ginny left Draco was so amazing! It was so angsty and sad, really well-written.

I can't help but sympathize with harry. Neither Harry nor Draco were at fault. Even though I looooooove draco/ginny, just in this story I wish she'd stay with Harry.

While I like the fact that you're moving the story forward, I wish this part had been dragged out a bit more slowly with more hints in early chapters of this mysterious thing that Harry might have done...
That being said, I'm very hooked and curious to find out how you resolve everything because it is a very sticky mess! I am glad you're taking the extra time and chapters to bring everything to a conclusion because otherwise I think you'd be stretching reality a bit no matter which ending you chose.
Hopefully you'll be able to pull it all together in a realistic (hopefully still happy) and satisfying conclusion. Good luck :)

That, I'm afraid, was the result of poor planning (as in I didn't fully come up with that particular idea until this chapter, lol) Hopefully, it will read well by the story's completion, as this is merely hinting at later chapters. So, no there was no indication earlier, but I certainly didn't reveal everything yet, so I hope it all works out. Thank you very much for supporting the excess of chapters I'll need to complete this. Good old angsty times! This chapter definitely feels like the culmination of a long build-up and I hope you find a way of resolving things satisfactorily without undoing all the work you've put into making things feel realistic and natural in the way they unfold.
I am a huge fan by now and have been diligently reviewing each chapter to give you encouragement and praise. I'm sure you realise how much so many of us appreciate your writing and story so I hope that helps get you through any tough spots you encounter.

VC Andrews was a writer who tended to have alot of characters that would fall in love and/ or do the deed and then find out they were related somehow. or they would be semi-distantly related and do the deed anyways. she is most famous for her Flowers in the Attic series! and for the 3rd time, great job with this piece!

Author's Response: *nods happily* Yes she did. Everyone needs a good backbone, it was a bit hysterical of her but she did develop one which will come in handy in future chapters. Rose is not finished, bitchy incident in the hospital wing aside. She is not done. As for Ginny, she's just a bit emotional (kinda lame excuse so please don't scoff, lol) It's just the truth. Her biggest secret is throwing her kids in fights at school and tearing apart her daughter and niece, two girls she loves. It's also been endangering her marriage and unsettling her 'what if' insecurities. So yes, she's crying. Most of the characters I use end up crying now that I think about it lol, perhaps I'm too in tune with angst, lol. Only in my writing oddly enough. And no, this fic isn't R funnily enough but perhaps the reviews should be, just kidding I swear! ;) thought your herm-dislike is duly noted. I think she gets a vindictive pleasure in thinking of Ron as better than Draco (all the hitting in DH and such) and her son as taking after Ron, which Hugo SO does. He is mini Ron with Herm's wit. Their a hot-blooded family for sure, no wonder Rose was scared of saying anything about Scorpius. As for DRACO's thoughts. They are coming in TWO chapters in FULL force. I cross my heart! It has taken a long time in coming but there was honestly nowhere to interject him sooner in that sense. He's been in the story certainly, but his POV, that is to come. ;) It was crazy enlightening to me just to write so hopefully that will clear MANY things up. Many many many. Thanks for your review! just to stick my opinion in here after reading other reviews.... i can't imagine anyone being team rose. she didn't ever say a word about being interested in Scorpius! as far as i could see, she wasn't. then suddenly ZOMG! she's gonna cry about it cause the friend likes her cousin. what a baby. anyways. there's my 2 cents! love this story though.

I'm on 'Team Lily' here as you know from my previous reviews so I'm thrilled by this chapter! I like to think that the R/S/L debate might be a bit like the Hr/D/G kind of debates but I definitely feel like you set Lily up to be a more appropriate match for Scorpius. I don't agree with some of the reviewers that Rose was right for Scorpius - he did have feelings for her and even tried to be patient but she was not only unwilling to let her family and friends know about her feelings but she was also unwilling to really commit to him. I actually see Rose as almost like Ron in this regard when he was pining over Hermione but too chicken to do anything about it. It was no wonder that Hermione went to the Yule Ball with Krum and then tried to make him jealous with Cormac MacLaggen! I'm just really pleased that Scorpius found in Lily a person willing to at least give it a go and face up to whatever happens. I think that taking that chance and hoping it pays off is where Lily did the brave thing where her mother (Ginny) I think may have hesitated. I definitely believe in the whole 'if you never try, you'll never know' kind of philosophy so I'm glad that both Lily and Scorpius are rewarded by their attempts to make something work. I do hope that Rose also finds the courage to choose her own path and then find true happiness.
I definitely look forward to reading more and finding out about Draco and Ginny's reactions to their children getting together!
