I've decided I really like the lengths of your chapters as it makes them so much easier to read.
Brilliant chapter and the kiss wasn't quite as cliched as some, which was good.

Yes I liked it!
I liked it very much...the snake hug spell was a nice adition, different from the usual striding and holding, but a good different.
It was a great kiss, thankfully she fell for it, better yet he gave her a real kiss and better still...they kissed AGAIN!!!
It was great, really amazing scene!

The birthday trick is great...always works in real life so it's nice to know it works in fic world as well!

Yes, your kiss scene was very well written, especially as it is their first kiss scene. It was innocent and mostly chaste though Draco was eager for some tongue, which isn't a surprise. He is Draco Malfoy after all. Well done with the whole chapter really. I'm so glad they're finally getting somewhere and that you didn't make her concerns with her family too long and consuming. You got the point across without pointless prattle, OMG he's a MALFOY thinking. It was very cute and realistic. And can I just say how much I love your regular updates?
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I figured she'd spent enough time in the last 17 chapters thinking about how he was a Malfoy and she and her family hated him so much that I didn't really need to beat it to death in this one. Besides... I wanted to get to that kiss! ;)

Oh that was so cute! FINALLY. *deep exhaling breath* This story is so superb and well-paced, much as I wanted this moment to happen sooner, I'm glad that you took the time to set it up properly and make it natural and believable. The fact that you could make your readers anxious as well reflects that. Great job, looking forward to more!

And i must say that i love the way you described romanian people through Martha (even thou i think that you just wanted to create a wonderful girl, and did not care about Romania, but it dosn't matter because the association is perfect)
