So, the story isn't complete. But Draco's "dead." Hopefully, since Gin never actually witnessed his death, this is all an elaborate plot twist. If not, I'm just going to keep believing that it is!

Far and away my favourite story of the moment. Dark, serious, and contemplative, but not without hope, and never dragging. Lovely characterisations. Please keep updating! I'm anxious to read the rest.

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. It made me very happy. I tend to update about a chapter per week, but I will work extra hard for you and try to get two up:)

I liked this chapter very much. It's a original plot that I haven't seen before and I really like that. I've read tons and tons of D/G stories and so many are repeated it's nice to see something very original, it's refreshing. I can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: I'm really glad you liked it and thought it was original because I've never heard of or read anything like it before and I didn't know if people would think it was too out there. :) Thank you so much for reviewing.

Well I like this so far. Poor Ginny, but the heart wants what the heart wants. I hope the 'character death' isn't referring to Ginny or Draco since you already killed half the Weasleys. I'm sad that you nixed Fred and George, Ron we can sacrifice because he tends to be the wrench in the works that is D/G but the twins are always fun.

A few notes: The term is "Minister OF Magic," not Minister FOR Magic. You'll lose readers just by having that error in your summary. You have a number of other grammatical errors, which you should work out as well.

Second of all, you have a lot of unexplained business going on here. How old is Ginny? "Youngest Minister of Magic," is all fine and well, but she'd have to be in her 30s at least to get the experience necessary to become Minister of Magic, and that means she's been alone for how many years? 10? 15?

Additionally, the interview seems very out of place. Wouldn't all of those questions be common knowledge by the time she made it into office? They cover all that stuff - and more - in a political campaign.

There's potential here, but I think that you need to do some work on it.

Author's Response: Thank You for this review. I am trying to improve my writing all the time so this is really important to me. Ginny is supposed to be 24 with the Battle at Hogwarts eight years ago. I realise this is probably quite young, but I felt that after a war with Ginny's connections within the Order and the Ministry she would be able to achieve this. Thank You again.

I have never seen Ginny portrayed as a woman this powerful before! I love it. It's a perfect growing-up segue. I'm not so sure about her thought processes though - would Draco really be top of her mind for almost every question? Other than that, you really caught my interest & I'm looking forward to reading more. Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. Thats a really good point about Draco you make. The war and Draco are very connected for Ginny (which the next chapter should explain ) so I hope that makes it more believable. I think most of the time she wouldn't think about him so much. But being asked about her brothers' death, Lucius and Harry would bring it up. At least, that's my explanation. Thanks for the review.

Excellent plot. I like the Ginny-in-power, and especially how she learned to control her emotions. This definitely seems to be useful to contain her reactions with both her brothers and Draco, though the last sentence of the chapter makes Ginny human :) I also really like how Draco doesn't plead for mercy but rather just to see Ginny. Hopefully, we will see more of him and their interactions later :)

Please update soon!

Author's Response: Lots more interactions between them later, I promise. And there should be another chapter up soon, within the next week. :) Thank You for reviewing.

i like this basis for a story. hurray for women in power!! i can't wait to see how the story line goes!!

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm a bit of feminist myself sometimes and I'm so glad you like the idea of Ginny in power. :)
