I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS FIC!!! I went all through the old FIA Fic Exchange LJ to find it. I couldn't remember the title, just that I had loved it and Ginny was an artist. I am so glad I found it again!
I like your Ginny. She's quirky and spirited in her own way. You do a great job with her. I also love the aloofness of Draco so far. Great job!

Okay, I've just realized that u haven't been responding to reviews on your older stories. Ive read this and I love it! But Ive got something to say about your story 'love story' so I figured y not post on a more recent story so u'll c it. I was wondering if u would please write a sequel for love story. It's really awesome but it'd be nice if we c some conflict between the families. Usually I'd hate conflict but I know it'll turn out alright. So I thought it'd be interesting to find out what happens. U r also a very talented writer and I really love your stories... But this is your latest story so... Yeah. A sequel would be nice.

This story is seriously one of the most beautifully written ones I've ever read, and can tell you I've read a LOT of D/G. Your writing is so dégagé and the words flow so easily that they really manage to convey the content perfectly. Also, the story has a kind of effortless simplicity to it without losing on complexity, which is really rare.
"Despite the dark marks of her pencil, the person on the page shone brightly, emitting sadness and lonel[iness] that she wasn’t even aware could translate to paper, even in the rough beginnings of her sketch. (...) On the page, the sky behind him was illuminated by the snow and he gave off a faint glow of light and heat, but it was anything but warm. It was lonesome."
I love this so much! It is (in my opinion, anyway) the perfect description of Draco from Ginny's perspective at this point of the story, and the fact that you didn't narrate it through her thoughts but by making her draw and then interpret it this way makes it even more special.
I'm looking forward to accompanying you on the journey of posting this story here and re-entering the world of 'Charcoal and Paint' you so ingeniously created again! :)

thank you for this. I really appreciate it. i worked hard and i think my beta's worked harder, so i am so glad that i won. i won't lie - i REALLY wanted to win! haha. hopefully all of your comments will follow me with my "regular" writing & i'll get published sooner rather than later. that would be awesome!

So, I totally voted for you... in every category. When I read this, I was blown away. You write some amazing stuff, but this.... you outdid yourself. You know why you won? Because you made me feel like I could be an artist. I felt and understood Ginny so well.
You're soon going to be another big name in Draco/Ginny fanfiction. And I will be able to say I remember when you responded to your reviewers. *sniffs*
But siriusly, you are growing. Everyone can see it in your writing. I'll be commenting on every chapter of this.
The setup is great. Everything from Gin's point of view on Harry... brilliant. He isn't made out to be an asshole. Just a boy who grew into a man. They part ways amicably. It's great. I don't like Harry being this huge asshole. He isn't Just... oblivious.
The description of Draco's back is great. Yes, even to my Dykeadellic self. And the snow just really sets it all off.
Can't wait for the next part!
