Mmm, Ginny's "escape" perhaps? She was rather one-dimensional about the whole thing, but then again she does believe in her side of the story at this stage.
I am being totally over the top here, but ! does he remember her from school? Secret fantasy?:)))

I guess for me the main question is - what is so special about Ginny and why Draco is after her? Is this just pure-blooded female thing or something more complex? I get the feeling that it is a later, but would love to know more. Is Ginny going to have time to reflect on this?
Author's Response: I won't answer it, but I will say that it's definitely a good question to be asking. I would add another - what is Draco so angry about?

This was something I was NOT expecting me. You have take an interesting route, and I cannot wait to see where it goes. I'm so excited about this chapter I could have screamed! Now, I want more.
I love that Draco wants her to be broken, but by her own side. It's a brilliant stroke. Or did I misunderstand?
There are a few ways left to play this out (or many, depending on future shocking turn of events), and I for one will be here when they do!

I don't think her family is dead. I think they're living in the village. That's my theory.

Author's Response: Thanks! The only thing I'll say about the fate of the other members of the Weasley family is that Malfoy means it when he says he's going to collect the whole set.

This chapter was such a nice surprise. The story is incredibly intriguing and I can't wait to read more.
While Draco is by no means innocent, it looks like Ginny was thoroughly brainwashed by the Ministry. She thinks in Ministry's slogans and sentences. Obviously what the Ministry whants it's followers to believe isn't exactly what is really happening.
And I really like that Draco is so enigmatic here.
I wonder what happens when Ginny returns to her camp. They might not believe her story and call her a traitor and a spy.

Author's Response: Thanks! There are definitely two sides to the conflict. Ginny hasn't had much exposure to the other side (mostly because they spend so much time trying to kill her). There will be a glimpse of life inside the Ministry camp in the next chapter, which may help clear things up a bit.
