wow. i havent read a short fanfic as satisfying as this in a while. great job! i look forward to more stories (hopefully longer ;) ) from you.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and commenting! My stories tend to get away with me, but this one did manage to wrap itself up succinctly. I hope you'll find my future works enjoyable too.

Oh! I LOVED this one. You got the emotions across so clearly and exquisitely, and most fics with this type of theme just don't manage it. We can understand *why* Ginny ended things, and we can see why she was willing to start them up with Draco again. Nothing feels forced.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review! So happy to hear it didn't come across as forced. This was one of those stories that just flowed as I wrote it, so I'm glad it worked out.

I am definitely interested in seeing prequel or sequel or both. I loved the part where Draco swooped over the red and gold mob... It would be interesting to have this told from another member of Slytherin House.

Author's Response: That would make a fun companion piece, and you also gave me an idea for a D/G fic told from multiple viewpoints...hmm plot bunnies are running rampant. Thanks for reading and taking the time to leave a comment!

Oh joy! I love this little gem. You don't even need more – it's a perfect stand alone (although that being said, companion pieces would surely be adored).

The notion of "their place" is fantastic, from the very first line, I was hooked. That entire first paragraph, actually, is a perfect summation of why we all love D/G. "If what was between them was exposed to the light of day and the scrutiny of others, they knew it wouldn't hold up. It would simply buckle under the pressure and disintegrate into nothing more than slivers of memories."

And the D/G fanatic in me was going 'NOOO', but then you tied it all together wonderfully at the end: "He knew with certainty then. There was no place for them in this world, but they would make their own. All they needed was for each other to believe in what they had, believe that it could last beyond a shadowed existence, and any place could become theirs."

GLORIOUS ending. I smiled ear to ear.

I hope in the future to see a lot more interaction between them – especially about how they are together. So many great D/G stories are about how they get together, but I really love the ones about the two of them staying together and how that would actually work.

Fantastic. Thanks so much for posting this!

Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I do love stories about them trying to work things out after they get together as well. You'll most likely see me tackle that aspect in my longer works in the future.

You are very good at writing D/G. I love the description about what trigger Draco throw off anything to kiss Ginny.

I love your Draco a lot. Please do finish this one

Author's Response: It's finished as of now as a stand-alone fic, but I do have ideas bubbling for a longer Hogwarts-era story. So you'll likely see this Draco again in the future. :) Thank you for reading and commenting!
