Squeeeeeeeee!! Awkward and flustered Draco is so adorable! ...and I'm also a sucker for pureblood gentleman Draco. Teehee. That scene at the lake is definitely one of my fave D/G moments. It's witty, sweet, light, and highly entertaining. Ginny, give Draco tea privileges in exchange for board and lodging! Loljk. :) Ahem. I'm hinting here that you add more to those moments. Well, Ginny's staying, and I hope for a looong time, at Malfoy Manor, soooo... I'll let you work your magic on those two. ;)

Oh, this is easily becoming my favorite D/G fanfic. It's the first time I've followed an ongoing fic like this, and it's really great to be "part" of the journey. As early as it may be, I'm already hoping that this isn't your last one and you'll be writing plenty more! But for now, I eagerly and patiently await the next update (Oh look, that rhymes!).
Author's Response: Awwww I'm so glad you liked it! Also, congrats, I am now totally kicking myself for not having her trade tea for room and board. Don't worry though, this isn't the last you'll see of the tea XD ...you warm my author's heart so dearly. I've never done this before (completing and then weekly updating a story) so it's insanely fun to take others down this journey that I finished but get to rediscover with each new review. I can't thank you enough for joining me in the journey. Posting all these chapters is already making my fingers itch to start the next one, but we'll see. It took me a year to finish Slytherin Squad (yes, you have quite a few more updates left XD) so there's no telling when (or if) the next one will be ready to start posting. If you have any plot bunnies for me, I'll gladly toy with the ideas! :) Until then, I impatiently await Thursdays. And to satiate my impatience, there's an extra chapter this week too. XD

Woohoo! So glad that you were able to upload this one quite quickly :) I adored the lake scene and I love how they came to understand more about each others' reasonings on becoming an Auror. I also like how you've been consistent on including interaction scenes with the other Slytherins -- especially Warrington, who I rarely read about in fanfics...Hmm I wonder how loyal he might be? Time will tell hehe. As always, looking forward to your next chapter!
