Feelings about this story: It was like the bastard child of Raymond Carver-- like Ray Carver meets Fitzgerald. I think the main character had a sort of Holden Caulfield bent crossed with Humbert Humbert, and then in that sort of pseudo-Russian-novel ilk. I think it's Phabala's best work to date.

Ooh, this was wonderful! The imagery and tone of the mental ward were pefect, and Ginny's progressively unstable thoughts and behaviours as the solstice approached was chilling. The ambiguity of the ending was fabulous. I especially loved Draco mourning who Ginny had been before he had cleaved her memories of Tom. Excellent, excellent story!

Wow, that was amazing, I love your imagery and the way you portrayed Ginny's personality. It was so sad though at the end, I don't know whether she's better or worse off. I love the way you write, so write more soon.
