Family background: Jeremy has never met his father and has no idea who that might be. He knows that his last name is his biological father's, but that's about all he knows. His mother Shaundra is fairly tight lipped about the bastard that sired him; Jeremy thinks he might have beaten her. Shaundra may or may not have had problems with alcohol and drugs, and Jeremy will never clarify this point. His two older half brothers have different fathers and different last names as well. They both became involved in gangs in his neighborhood and usually weren't home. He thinks his eldest brother Tyler might be dead, but no one is saying so. The middle brother Keon is a dealer and really had nothing to do with Jeremy. That's just as well; once he discovered his magic, Jeremy wanted nothing to do with his biological family anyway.
House in School: Slytherin
Bloodline (and does it matter?): Muggleborn, and had to endure the loathing of his peers because of it. So of course it matters, you imbecile!
Political Views: This hypocrisy cannot stand.

Description: He is five foot eleven inches and heavily muscled. He boxes, runs, swims and shoots pistols regularly, and it shows. He tends to wear Muggle clothing more than Wizard robes, and heavy work boots. He has a shoulder holster that he wears almost all the time that is covered by a glamour so others can't see it.
Psychology and Personality
Sexuality: Straight as straight can be.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Jeremy is physically strong, but can be quick to anger if he feels slighted. He is proud of his skill with potions and his ability to have survived the Serpent's Den despite the obvious hatred of his origins. He's a proud man overall, and is very exacting. He hasn't found a witch he feels is appropriate for him, though he's hard pressed to describe her when asked if he even deigns to answer.
Habits/Quirks: He can't stand to be unarmed. He tries to carry some kind of weapon with him at all times, preferring his gun to any knife. He's the kind of man that prefers to bring a gun to a knife fight to be sure it ends. He can defend himself physically, but likes the clinical distance a gun gives him. He is an excellent cook, and preparing a gourmet meal relaxes him. His favorite weekend pastime is to play some Bob Marley and whip up a five course dinner after a two mile run.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes: leather jackets, potions work, his Glock G 21 (.45 caliber) pistols, driving fast, curvaceous women, hot tubs, reggae music. Dislikes: all these damn questions.

Residence: A flat in Oxford. He's frequently mistaken for a university student.
History from student days at Hogwarts to the present time: Jeremy hadn't ever known about magic, much less that he possessed any. He just figured he was extremely lucky in getting away from the local bullies and gang bangers. When he received his Hogwarts letter, it explained a lot and he was looking forward to it. However, getting sorted into Slytherin House made his life a living exercise in hostile negotiations. It was as if he had never left his slum neighborhood, and it honed his survival instinct. His fellow Snakes ultimately had to concede that the Muggleborn Jeremy knew his magic and knew how to make it in the den.
Jeremy actually enjoyed Charms and Potions, and took on a Potions fellowship after graduating Hogwarts. From there, he managed to win top honors. His hard work with his mentors garnered attention from St. Mungo's hiring staff, and he is currently working in their research and development department. He is trying to develop new potions to cure various ailments. It's another environment of subtle backstabbing and passive aggression when grant applications are due, but Jeremy knows how to handle this. And if need be, he can handle it permanently.
