Okay, so I was listening to Tom Petty yesterday, and for the first time in a long time, I felt inspired to write. I was listening to the Wildflowers album (don't pay attention to the Amazon reviewer, who is a bitter hack based on that review), and the music and the lyrics went to the part of my brain that controls D/G fic and kicked it awake. So, I reordered the songs on the album to fit a story arc, and wrote a ficlet for each one. The connections are sometimes obscure, but if you want, you can find the lyrics for all the songs here.Also, I considered releasing these one at a time, but I decided that, since it's still Christmas until January 6, I wouldn't be that cruel.
