Set just before Threads and right between it and Musubiya Mystery Theatre, a young Slytherin finds himself at a crossroads as to what to do with his life following the end of Voldemort's reign of terror. He redeems himself and finds new love in the process by way of a most unusual event: Hogwarts' participation in the European Junior Quidditch League.

Story notes: Everything in the Potterverse belongs to JK Rowling, but the plucky Filipina professor coaching the school Quidditch team is my creation.
This particular story occurs, obviously, in the same alternate universe as
Starlight and Moonlight,
Threads and
MMT. It gets its name from a song of the same title released by Japanese rock idol Camui MS Gackt in 2005. The lyrics of the song will be appearing from time to time to emphasize certain details of the story.
Incidentally, to prevent any head-scratching that may arise from certain details of the story - which is certainly AU as my first fic was written prior to the release of OotP - I suggest that you go read
Starlight and Moonlight which I wrote as Megaella Ballanche-Viewlard at Fanfiction.net before anything else.
Rated due to some violent scenes, implied mature activity, and a whole lot of swearing. It
is a sports romance, after all...
No romance going on as yet, save for the implied one for Remus Lupin and Amihan Sinagtala. But this is already a harbinger of things to come.
Incidentally, Sirius Black is alive and well and related to Draco Malfoy. Only this time, he's his mother's brother...
The usual disclaimer applies: everything in the Potterverse belongs to JK Rowling. Many thanks to Embellished for beta-reading the Prologue and Chapter One.

The usual disclaimer applies: everything in the Potterverse belongs to JK Rowling. Many thanks to Embellished for beta-reading the Prologue and Chapter One. This particular chapter takes another look at what happened on the Saturday Draco bought the broomstick in the previous chapter from Ginny's point of view.
Incidentally, there's part of a Japanese rock song in this tale. Fifty points to whichever House you've been sorted into if you can guess what it is. (The answer's in the end notes, but don't cheat by scrolling down!)

This particular chapter is a bit more laid back, but I promise to pep things up soon. =^w^=
The usual disclaimer applies: everything in the Potterverse belongs to JK Rowling. The title of this chapter comes from the song
Everybody Changes by Keane.
Incidentally, the confrontation between Draco and Ginny alluded to in the first section of this chapter is told in full detail in my short story
Threads; feel free to check it out if you have the time.
I apologize for not being able to update either
Redemption or
Musubiya Mystery Theater, but I assure you all that fresh chapters will be up within the week.

Major "thank-yous" to everyone who reviewed!

I apologize for being unable to update this story for the past couple of weeks. But now, here's a nice
longchapter for you to enjoy. I'll have to admit, however, I'm not good at writing action scenes, so please pardon me if this chapter sounds a tad awkward.
Some of the terms were taken from the book
Quidditch Through the Ages.
