Author's Response: Thanks for the recommendation. I hope to wrap up JNFA in the next few days and then post one more interlude. I'm also considering putting both together along with some other pieces I've written that now would break the continuity. I'll probably ask Mynuet how best to handle that on this site, or see if I can post it elsewhere.

I can't say that I understand that chapter - but I have some ideas. Apart from the fact that this was brilliant, sweet yet angsty, it was also confusing in a manner that makes the reader come back and read more. So: East of sun, west of moon, eh? Combined with the fact that the summary tells us that every fairy tale has to start somewhere *ponders* sounds a little like Peter Pan. No, that's not it. Something mystical though.
