ok, i know that you must have started work on the next i.e sixth chapter but i had this little idea in my head, you could call it a suggestion...
I was thinking of the next encounter of Ginny and Draco(the next day after the suicide attempt) to be fun.i suppose that after the suicide attempt,ginny would want to distract herself with other things and who better than her adorable nieces to do the job.
I can imagine Ginny in a tank top and shorts and a high ponytail,looking every bit like a 16 year old having a blast with Victoire,Dominique & Ted in the children's play area on the ship and somehow Draco joins the fray.
You think you could incorporate this situation in your next chapter? i mean ocourse its your story and you know the best but i couldn't resist sharing this with you :)

Thank you so much for incorporating my suggestion so beautifully.Its better than what i had imagined. The best part is it keeps the characters in mind,everybody behaves as expected.There's nothing sudden, if you know what i mean....Ginny is being Ginny and Malfoy is being Malfoy.You cannot expect them to become the best of friends overnight,eventhough he saved her life....The kids were uber adorable!

You are doing a marvelous job with this fic... the concept itself is so beautiful! And I absolutely adore the way you have written Ginny and everyone else. I was especially touched to read this letter to Luna and I think I could identify with all those moments that Ginny talks about..."meeting up to study but talking about everything else under the sun except studies" and picturing the future, the part about "Harry being a permanent fixture in her future... " that simply moved me... there's something so inherently,gentle,sweet,and bittersweet about this fic...which is so hard to come by. Yes, I am kinda dissappointed that you don't update regularly,especially that you are done with the fic... I say this coz due to these long intervals between updates,one tends to forget what the previous chapter was about and has to go back and read the previous chapter to make a connection... I request you to update a bit more regularly because it's a shame to deprive us avid readers of this beautiful story which we can all relate to at some level.

but i spotted a couple of mistakes in chp 10 regarding ginny's age. Ginny is nearing 25 , i suppose she turned 24 so technically, Draco should be 25 yrs old not 28 considering that he is older than ginny by a year.
Nevertheless, keep up the good work.
Author's Response: Hi! Thank you! Ginny is 27 - it\'s about ten years after Voldie went down. I think the confusion is from when Ginny says she\'s nearer to 25 than 30 - and being 27, she would technically be right. If I am incorrect, though, please point me towards the mistake so I can fix it!

Lav and Parvati are the two ditzy Bennet sisters from Pride and Prejudice, while Luna and Ginny are the two smart ones. I needed them to be flighty ditzes.
You'll find out what Ginny's occupation is soon and, while it fits with the plot nicely, I actually originally chose it only to show that Ginny is a smart, strong woman.

You are an excellent writer. I especially love the way where you have entwined tragedy,intrigue,humour and inter-relationships so well... the seamless flow of the story is something to look for. The characters are canon to the T yet fit so well into this story. I especially love the light hearted banter between our fav slytherins, love your Blaise he is like a breath of fresh air and provides Draco support in his own unique way,making it easier for Draco to handle the situation..

I'll try to keep updates at a regular pace, though my chapters usually tend to naturally peter out at around 3,000 words, so I don't know if I can do longer!
You write so beautifully... I am a big fan of your other stories as well, but this story is something quite extra ordinary... It pure perfection I would say and it keeps getting better with every new chapter. You deserve an applause for your talent for writing mystery and humour... it's quite a daunting task for anyone... and your scene depictions are simply wonderful, you can each each of them unfold before your eyes and I think I have already said in one of my earlier reviews that your characterisations and the non-cannon characters are absolutely brilliant, I think I can go on and on but I guess I can sum it up by saying that it's 'Bloody Brilliant'! keep it up.
You know, the only flaw is that you update like once a month but I guess good work takes its own time. I shall look anxiously for a new update, like I do every day,hoping to be rewarded :P

Out of curiosity, is the name 'Buttercup bakery' inspired from How I Met your Mother? There was a character called Victoria who had a bakery of the same name and was famous for making the best cakes in town.... sounds similar.
