Ginny fled the wizarding world when betrayal, deception, and heartbreak tore apart her life. A year later, she lives and works as a Muggle-- and the co-owner of Athena's Saucy Shoppe of Salacious Delights. But she's about to learn that it isn't so easy to leave the past behind... especially when it comes packaged in the person of Draco Malfoy.
Chapter TWENTY Quote of the Day:
Ginny tried again, deciding that it was time for her glowering blond companion to help her out whether he wanted to not.
“It’s so great to catch up with old friends, Draco. Don’t you think?” She jabbed Draco lightly in the ribs under cover of darkness.
Draco clamped his hand around her waist like a band of iron. Oh, no, Ginny thought despairingly. This was not going well.
"She's mine alone,” said Draco.
"But she's got other customers, right?" asked Theo.
"She is not to be shared,” said Draco. “I… ah… don't share my toys. You ought to remember that, Nott.”
"But if she's no more than a toy, then it shouldn't matter." Nott's expression was turning crafty. Suddenly, Ginny had a very, very bad feeling about what might happen next.
“Seems as if you shouldn’t mind sharing Ginny with me, don’t you think, Malfoy? After all we’ve been through together? You know what I mean, don’t you?”
Yo, Anise, I'm back! And enjoying this fic! Glad to see you're keeping up the good work!
Author's Response: YAY! :) (does the Happy GoldenFawkes Is Back dance. Confetti is involved.) Yes, I'm going to finish this fic!! Shadow too. Another chapter is coming very soon... I had to finish and turn in a 20,000 word chunk of the memoir for my f2f group, so that kind of held things up. ;)
Whew! That was hot! Looking forward to what's next!
Author's Response: Hey GF!! :) I just saw that you left this review... I've been thinking about the next chapter... and I think it will go up around Christmas.
When her family perished in the great wizarding war, Ginny turned her back on the magical community and eeked out a life for herself in the muggle world. Struggling to make ends meet, Ginny seeks to escape her hum-drum life and a throwaway comment from Draco galvanises her into action. Afraid of losing her, Draco intervenes and nothing ends up going to plan.Category: Works in Progress
I'm finding this so sweet. Draco feeling so lonely (and presumably more than that...)
Mmmmm... Yes...
Hope you continue this story! I'm loving it!
Author's Response: I hope to. I have a plan, I just don't get a lot of time to write so it happens when it happens lol
For the life of her, Ginny Weasley did not know how this had happened. She could have blamed the two glasses of expensive champagne, or considered the possibility of being put under the Imperius Curse, but she knew deep down that that was not the case. Somehow, she had knowingly and wilfully ended up here. Shit.Category: Works in Progress
Oh. She should have told him about the diary.
Telling Draco about the diary would have been perfect after he told her about the curse. :(
I liked Draco better when he refused to be a spy. I don't think refusing meant he didn't love Ginny. There are other ways aside from spying. Right? Ugh. I don't want Draco to be in danger!
Aw man, no more chapters! Looking forward to more.
Loving this story, loving your writing. Keep it up!
Wait, why isn't his grandmother's last name Malfoy?
Ginny is tired of being the only single Weasley at family gatherings and all the pity that comes with that status. Draco could do without opportunistic women taking advantage of his desire to connect. The solution? Team up to become platonic dates during the holidays.Category: Works in ProgressIf only their hearts could stick to the plan....
CHAPTER ELEVEN SNIPPET:
When Ginny finally came downstairs, her eyes were bright and red-rimmed with happy tears. Her teammates and friends swarmed her again, congratulating her on becoming an auntie once more. She thanked everyone profusely, but her attention was clearly divided. Her eyes kept drifting toward Draco as if to make sure he stayed put until she could reach him.
And when she was finally free from the well-wishers and standing in front of him once more, it took all of Draco’s control not to pull her toward him and kiss her. That look on her face, the relief and elation—he never wanted to see it leave. He realized then that there was little Draco wouldn’t do to spare her from misery, like the kind she’d experienced over the summer when she’d been bashed in the press.
The realization frightened him enough to flee, but he couldn’t. She was here. As much as he wished to escape his feelings, he also couldn’t deny himself the opportunity to be around her.
Loving this. As one of 6 children, and the only one still unmarried (and single), I RELATE!! to Ginny.
Love her attitude. She's such a badass.
Author's Response: Wow, you really can relate! I'm glad you like Ginny in this chapter!
Glutton for punishment indeed!
Author's Response: I think it's safe to say Draco is a glutton in general. ;D
Mmm. Yummy.
Author's Response: Lots of candy talk in this chapter. XD
Aw man! Come on Ginny, get some!
Author's Response: If only she'd let herself. So sad. Her overactive imagination got in the way and not in a good way. :(
Awww! They came so close!
Author's Response: Sooo close, and then it all exploded in their faces! Thank you so much for reading, Goldie! And for taking the time to comment on each chapter. I'm so glad you're enjoying the story. n_n
Thanks for the chapter! Poor Ginny... :(
Author's Response: You're welcome!! Thank you for reading!

This is so beautifully done. I'm looking forward to more.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm working on it albeit very slowly haha
