So...awesome fic, totally tasty...
But the comments at the end had me cracking up and falling off my chair. Now I must see the stoned Draco fic.
*COMPLETE* Destiny knew better than to bring these two together. One man, determined to draw back an errant Malfoy, is not so wise, and Ginny soon finds herself caught up in events that are not quite Fate.Category: Long and Completed
Wonderful story! I loved it!
Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
I am loving this story immensely. Your writing is beautiful, your plot and character development keep me reading into the small hours. However, I think the thing that I enjoy the most about this story is that you didn't make Draco and/or Narcissa into fluffy bunnies...or any of the other characters, for that matter. Yes, the characters grow and develop and learn that their prejudices might be misguided or harsh, but you don't start out with a Draco who is just a sensitive soul under his bluster, and is just looking for someone to understand him, you don't make Harry into a villein, but he's not perfect either...I really enjoy that. I mean, there are some really cute and sweet stories that star a cute, fluffy Draco, etc., but that isn't really who he is--regardless of the fact that he has facets, and isn't JUST a jerk, he isn't a nice guy to the Gryffindor gang. He's just not. Another thing that I like about your fic is the family relationship between the Malfoys. In far too many fics, either Lucius or both parents are demonized--portrayed as harsh, evil slavedriver parents who force Draco into the life he's in...and it's pretty clear in the books that that isn't the case. Even before book 7, it's pretty clear that they may be rich, arrogant jerks, but they really love each other.
Anyway, long rambling comment, sorry! Love the story and looking forward to updates soon!
