Ohhhh..... *heart breaks*
What really happened in the DH Epilogue of Doom. Poor, poor Harry, so very clueless...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter SIXTY-NINE quote of the day:
Ginny scowled at him. “You don’t know me very well.”
Draco shook his head, his eyes more sorrowful than ever. “No. I don’t. Eternity wouldn’t be long enough for that.”
“Why do I feel as if we’ve suddenly wandered into the set of a men’s cologne commercial?” complained Lucifer.
“Can’t you keep your damn mouth shut, Lucifer?” spat Draco.
“Please… really… I don’t think you should talk to him that way,” whispered Ginny.
SO happy to see a new chapter of this story! Not so happy to hear why it's been so long...
Wishing you a quick and painless healing process- and know that there are dozens upon dozens of people in various places all across the globe that think you're the greatest (heh, the cat's meow seems somewhat apropos considering the chapter)... Here's to a great New Year for you!
Loved 'The Last Unicorn' shout out.
Ah! The suspense!!
(I've never been mentioned before [probably b/c I'm such a sporadic reviewer]- it made my day! I saw the movie as a kid, and it scared the crap out of me; reading the book years later was much more enjoyable)
Ah! Ah! Ah! Lest you think I'm channeling crazy!Harry (and am I a bad person for feeling kind of happy?), these are just screams of suspense, disbelief, and I'm sure there's some German word that means 'desire to know'. Wow wow wow. Let the unlikely Triumvirate of Questioners continue- and get to the bottom of this! Draco's coming off more than a little creepy, so please redeem him as quickly as possible!
Wheee! So either it's the girl from the Crystal Palace who's the mother, or it's someone else... Does being a metamorphmagus run in the Black family? Is that what Scorpius is? (b/c he's not tonks' son, right? right????) Poor Ginny.
Well, that was unexpected. Have to say I didn't see that coming. And you're certainly not alone in disliking Molly Weasley, she's annoying as hell, and narrow minded to boot.
Oh, Molly needs a damn good smackdown. Go Ginny- heal, get up and go find Draco.
Oooh, I'm on the edge of my seat.... dirt on Molly! yay!
Ack! And now I know why I don't read suspense- my poor heart just can't take it! So very, very good...
*hyperventilates*
my nerves!
What a matched pair they are turning out to be... she's doing to him just what he did to her, manipulation with no explanation...
I love this story, you know that? Just love it. I almost wish I'd never started, and just stumbled on it completed, so I could devour it at one sitting, but watching it unfold is such a pleasure.
And if that isn't inviting the other shoe to drop, I don't know what is...
Wonderful, as always
We don't really mind long chapters, you know. :)
how very meta ;)
and we know you're selfish, Draco- we like you that way...
Valentine's Day brings a surprise, but not the one Ginny was hoping for.Category: Works in Progress
They really have a 'one step forward, two steps back' relationship, don't they. Love this story- love all your stories, really. Thanks for sharing with us!
Ginny is twenty four, and the war rages on. Draco is a Death Eater, and he needs her help. Of course, he doesn't give her a choice. Now she's surrounded by the enemy. She begins to see that not everything is black and white. Can she come to terms with her new role in his life?Category: Works in Progress
AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! First, you rip out my heart. Now, you stomp on it, and turn it into squishy, heart-jelly. Please, please update this soon! Let little baby Leo be safe. And for the love of Pete, let Draco & Ginny finally have sex!
Author's Response: Leo will be safe. Draco and Ginny will have to wait a bit longer. Sorry about the heart trauma : )
Hired by the Malfoys to manage their public relations after a bout of bad press, Ginny discovers that some relationships just aren't meant to stay strictly professional.Category: Long and Completed
And the footnote would read, 'And by gardening, we mean Lucius sits under the birch and orders the elves about.'
Laughed out loud. I'm really enjoying this!
Author's Response: Hee. Thanks for reviewing!
Draco doesn't remember their past together, and now she's just a Weasley to him. Ginny will do anything -jump through all the hoops, pose as an interior decorator, tap dance -ANYTHING- to break the spell that erased his memory and make him love her again.Category: Long and Completed
I'm really enjoying this story, but out of curiosity, why do you have the opening quote for this chapter as from 'Cyrano de Bergerac'? I'm pretty sure it was said by the butterfly in 'The Last Unicorn' by Peter S. Beagle.
Author's Response:
Hi! Thank you for taking the time to review. ^_^
In answer to your question I confess I'm not at all familiar with 'The Last Unicorn'. I know this quote from Edmond Rostand's drama, in which Cyrano de Bergerac is a character hopelessly in love with Roxanne. Cyrano was a real person, but as far as I know he wasn't nearly as interesting as literature makes him out to be: a passionate hook nosed duelist with the tendency to spout poetry at every turn. He DID have an uncommony large nose, but he never participated in a duel. ^_^
Anyway, yeah, I'm glad you're enjoying it. Don't be a stranger! ;p
"The day began just like any other for Astoria Malfoy, but it didn’t stay that way for long."Category: Works in Progress
Ten years after the DH Epilogue, Harry Potter dies and everyone else is left to pick up the pieces.
This is really great so far- I'm really, really enjoying it.
These lines: "Potter was dead. Ginny was a widow. Ginny was no longer married. And Astoria was leaving him. Astoria was leaving him…because Potter was dead. Astoria was leaving him because Potter was dead and Ginny was a widow." were FABULOUS. Perfectly captured thoughts. Well done!
Fresh-faced Ministry employee meets her... nemesis?Category: Works in Progress
Written by Mynuet and Persephone33.
Yay! My favourite part of si_muove, now on yet another site! It's like two scoops of d/g in every visit to the computer. You guys totally and completely rock.
Author's Response: We're just happy to know that someone reads the rpg besides us! Thanks for the review!
"All was lost. Dumbledore dead, the Ministry gone, and my family only spared because our blood was too pure to waste."Category: Works in ProgressInspired by Beauty and the Beast. But you'll find no singing teapots or enchanted roses here, I'm afraid. Just two Dark Lords, a country divided, and one girl to damn them all.
I really like it so far, I just have one question. This line, "Only to die ten years later at the hands of two new Dark Lords"- so Malfoy & Zabini were eleven years old when they took over England? I'm finding that a little hard to believe...
