All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.
I love how you always respond to stuff, so very thoughtful and involved. (Not sarcasm at all)
Anyways, I was looking at the reviews cause in my current chapter which is about ~checks the other tab~ chapter 54 the author's note said something about details of smutty chapters being outlined in a response to a review in chapter one. No reason at all why I wanted that particular information of course. ~Coughs.~ But anyways, as I was searching for this... outline I came across a few reviews which were complaints about the length. I don't know if they're first time readers of your fanfics or what, but I happen to love the length of your stories, they seem to go on and on and it's like getting lost in another world, I'll look up and it's been hours, but only felt like minutes. Sometimes it can be a bit confusing, but it's usually my own fault because I was trying to skip ahead to Draco bits only to realize something must have happened in that paragraph or two that I skipped because I have no idea what's going on now and I'll just have to go right back. Shame on me for trying to skim, I know. My point is however, that I love your story telling style, I feel that you go over details from canon to make sure we can follow the bread crumbs clearly instead of going 'wtf this is soooo out of character, it's making absolutely no sense at all' which has happened in a ton of fanfics I've tried to read from others many times. And now I feel like I'm rambling and making no sense so I'm going to quit it now and get back to nak-- to chapter 54 happily. Too long, didn't read? In short, I love your stories, I love the length, I love that you care and that I don't feel abandoned the only part I dislike is the wait, but that's cause I'm impatient and because I know yours will be long, I like to give you a giant head start, thus why I'm so far behind or was. :) ~Runs back to chapter 54, knowing this was way too long.~
Author's Response: Thanks! I love long reviews. DEFINITELY not too long. Chapter 54! Yep, you made it through a lot of smut, although a big plot reveal is still to come. There is so much coming from Ch. 98 to the end (well, of Book 1), and I'm working on it every day. So don't worry! It's coming soon. :)
Oh no, all caught up. >.< And Draco finally returns. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: He did indeed, and SO much takes place after this turn of events. But I think it will ultimately work out best to wait for the reveal until everything is completely in place. I'm working on DDD every day, and I don't think it will really be that long... ;)
Ugh. I mean I thought that was how to keep both vows, but I guess I hoped that I was so very wrong... idk maybe it will be okay.. I'm afraid to go on. Their first time can't be like this.. not with him all over "Astoria". x.x Not DracoxAstoria oh gosh.. .~Bites her lip, takes a deep breath, and attempts to go on with one eye open.~
Author's Response: It's okay! Don't worry about ANYTHING.... just keep reading. :)
Well that was hot. >> Even if she's bony Astoria.
Author's Response: Thanks. ;) She's still Ginny inside, of course.
Yay! Oh I'm so fangirlishly pleased. I really am. And! So excited for more. >>
Author's Response: Thanks! Well, there are still five more chapters to come.... :)
....this was a very, very delicious chapter. I love the descriptions, the build up.
Author's Response: Thanks! Well, this fic has definitely been all about buildup...;)
Awww I loved the ending. I can definitely see why there's a sequel, but I loved it. Thank you for sharing such a great story. I can't wait to see how the rest works out and I know Astoria won't like this one bit, but I feel good and very pleased so far. My trust you in stands. =D
Author's Response: Thanks SO much! Yes, I'm glad you see that there does have to be a sequel-- too many questions still remain unresolved. But there will be answers!
In the back of her mind, Ginny had always sensed there would be wild adventures with her and Harry. The early days of their time together–fighting evil and playing sport–felt like lifetimes ago. The most adventuresome thing they had done together in recent memory was a spontaneous shagging in the garden. It was so domestic that it pained her how common they were. The greatest wizard of his generation, and his wife, getting their thrills from a shag in the garden. She had never thought this future would be hers.Category: Long and Completed
It was a good read. I enjoyed it very much. :)
Yep. That second new chapter is actually here. This fic will continue!! :)Category: Works in Progress
The sequel to Draco's Dangerous Dilemma.
Nearly two years have passed since Ginny saw Draco in a coffeeshop for the first time after the war. The two of them have been trapped in a seemingly neverending cycle of lust, betrayal, revenge, and despair ever since-- until one night of passion at the Pureblood Ball proved to them both that their bond could never be broken.
But there's a world outside the fragile love budding between the pair. And Ginny just may find out that Draco's past casts a shadow that neither of them can outrun in time to save him...
Chapter NINE Quote of the Day:
“So here’s where we are,” she said. “The sketches are ready. The clay models are done. I’m happy with them. You?”
“Very much so,” said Draco. His mouth quirked upwards. “Remember Bob Ross and his Happy Trees? I’d never have believed then that we’d reach this point, but we have.”
“We’ve come a long way since then,” said Ginny. She remembered how furious she was when she first learned that she’d be working with Draco on the fountain project, and that he’d somehow finagled his way into the Junior Minister of Art position. How snippy and cold she’d tried to be to him; how snarky he’d been to her in return. How exhausted he’d always looked, too, and how much she had wanted to smooth away the dark circles from under his eyes and put a real smile on his handsome face. She’d threatened to report him to the Minister of Art and have someone else reassigned to her; she was ashamed to think of that now.
“We certainly have,” said Draco, giving her one of his real smiles, the sort she’d never imagined his face could possibly form in those days. She tried not to smile in return. She wanted to remain as serious as possible.
So sexy. Very nice. You're not gonna tease me like that and then not give me more right? That'd be terribly cruel. >>
Author's Response: No... there's DEFINITELY more. Much more!
Aww they're so cute. Now if she'd just stop fighting. gosh. Him too I suppose. Anyways, great story so far, I'm loving it. Also nervous cause it's you so there's no safety really in the beginning. >.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Depends on what you mean by safety... ;)
ANOTHER BRAND NEW CHAPTER, YAY!Category: Essays
Does D/G still matter? Yes! And maybe, just maybe, it matters more than ever before. Read all about the reasons why our one and only OTP is truly built to last. Are YOU ready for the shocking truth? ;)
Chapter SIX Quote of the Day: Okay, there isn't really a quote, but JJ Abrams is mentioned. Just read it. ;)
~Read the blog and cries upon reading usb files have disappeared.~ Noooooooo. Well I was really enjoying this and I do hope you recover the files because I'd love to hear more of what you have to say.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Well, as of right now (Wednesday night, PST), the computer expert said that he was able to recover some files pretty easily and was still.... um... working on the rest. That's all I know. I'm just trying to hold onto the image of the reality show where experts recovered all the data on a laptop that was thrown into a river for two days...
Anyway, one way or another, the next chapter will get done. Oh yes... OH YES IT WILL. I had some older notes; the problem is that I'd added a LOT since the last time it was saved.
