In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.

quick question: you might have mentioned this, but what years are lily, rose and scorpius in?
Author's Response: Actually I don't think I have mentioned that. My sister and I were trying to figure it out based on the epilogue when I first started writing this and decided that Rose, Scorpius (and Albus once he gets more involved) are all 7th years. Lily and Hugo (Rose's brother) are fifth years. I'll mention that in an author's note on the next chapter. Thanks for asking :) And thank you very much for your compliment on the chapter as well.

Author's Response: The story has to start wrapping things up somewhere, right? Lol, It's only half-way through though, and Rose isn't backing out of the cast anytime soon, not at all to tell the truth. Just stay and see what happens... And I am sorry that I can't make everyone happy, hopefully the completed fic will be able to keep as many as possible rapturously content... *writer's wishful thinking*

Author's Response: Haha, probably a good route to not try predicting what's going on with those three. It's definately a love triangle, through and through. Next chapter should clear those things up much more though ;) I'm glad you liked the spatula and the kiss (it was a blast to write, I still can't believe I wrote something incorporating Draco, Ginny, a kiss, and a spatula but it just fit, in that weird kind of way. :) Thanks for your review!
Have to agree with DGgirl on this one! As a Scorpius/Rose shipper, that chapter was hard to read. Although, I did enjoy seeing Albus and Hugo at Hogwarts :)

Author's Response: Hehe. I'm glad you like it, and I've always entertained the idea of returning this to its four-shot status as I originally wanted it to be. But then this just stood alone too well for me to make it into a four-shot, so it's now a oneshot.
