HA HA HA! This amused me to no end. Very Draco. Now, just as a little tiny criticism, I thought Draco was a tiny bit OOC -- but there were total moments of him being OH so Draco too... that was one of them. ;)

Author's Response: Oh, I do feel loved. Thank you for the wonderful review. I know Draco was a bit OOC in this story, but so was Harry. I've just been contmeplating this story for a bit. In my original idea, Ginny was untouched before he came home but I thought that would make Harry way too much of a evil bastard, so I modified the idea. I do hate to tell you that this is a one shot. I am trying to finish up the other fics, but my brain doens't always do what I want it to do. Thanks again.

Author's Response: Ha, I can\'t believe you don\'t remember the end. I think you read it then as well. You\'re too funny. The whole thing is saved on my laptop, and I finally fired that damn thing up today so I could update this. I\'m thinking of uploading another chapter mid-week. I\'ve also got to churn out the rest of a prompt I received as a back-up thing for Smutakkah, but never finished. Why finish it when they aren\'t going to post it or do anything that mods of an exchance are supposed to do, right? So, I\'ve got to get the last three chapters of this posted and then start posting that. I can\'t wait to read the entries to the latest exchange y\'all cooked up!

Author's Response: Thanks, man. You already know the prophecy, doofus. It\'s at the top of the first chapter. Silly willy. Ha.\r\n\r\nYeah, the H/G reference just kind of dropped itself in there. I wanted to make Draco the decent guy and I wanted Ginny to have a reason to be damaged. The prompt called for no Ginny/Tom references, and I didn\'t want to go with the obvious bit anyhow. I\'m glad everyone is liking that part of it. I just wanted them to both be imperfect, but perfect together. Kind of like they were saving each other from something.
I AM a complete doofus. I reread that and it all clicks! DUH! I just didn't know it at the time. I thought you put it there for your own amusement. *allows knuckles to be rapped with ruler* ;)
Author's Response: Actually, when I first wrote it, I didn\'t have that in there. It was more of a vague reference to the prophecies in the books, but Persephone suggested I make it more concrete. I only modified the last line so it would rhyme a bit, but she wrote the whole thing! I actually need to put that in my author\'s notes. She\'s brilliant and I heart her. Oh, for the record, I wouldn\'t rap your knuckles, I\'d just laugh and point while doing some sort of silly dance. Hehehehe.

My only sad thingy is that she went on and on about how she knew HE 'adored' her and thought 'she' was special -- but never mentioned her OWN feelings except in vague terms. But still -- LOVED it!
Author's Response: Yeah, I seem to remember toying with those ideas when I was writing the whole thing, but I thought the month\'s worth of Sobering Potions, their conversation about Harry, him telling Blaise that she needed to be finessed a little, and him getting her coffee all the time kind of spoke louder than any words could have. That\'s how boys are -- they do stuff rather than say stuff. That sounded mature, right? Ha.\r\n\r\nAnyhow, I\'m really glad you liked it. There\'s only one more chapter. I\'m toying with the idea of rewriting it because I feel like it\'s all a bit uprupt, but I was working with a deadline when this was originally written.

That was brilliant. Ginny was spot on in character. Loved her! And I loved the little tidbits about Ron and Hermione that just make you see that time is passing and it's a school and everything is really believable.

I wish someone would have told him that before he went all killDumbledore-like in HBP. ;)
