Nineteen-year-old Draco Malfoy has moved to Japan to prove himself a better man than his father. As he gets ready to settle down with the love of his life, he is totally unaware that hell is about to break loose.Category: Works in Progress
Okay. Hang on. Hold the phone. I'll try to be orderly about this...
-Percy's being a prat, so he told Ron about the potion...but Ron actually brewed it? I thought they all said he was incompetent at stuff like that
-Hermione knew, but did nothing?
-Wait, Harry's getting married? You know, he has been rather conspicuously absent...
-Is Blaise transgender? That's an interesting subplot. I don't know that I've ever read a fanfic with that in there
-Is Amihan Japanese or Filipina? or both?
....and I could continue endlessly. Aw man, I just checked, and you haven't updated in a year! Oh no! Please finish, I'm soo confused but enthralled and intrigued.
Draco and Blaise have major hang-overs, and Ginny wants to know why.Category: Completed Short Stories
rotflol. omg, you have to be kidding. blaise is my new best friend. i'm just sad you ended without having ginny's reaction, or draco strangling blaise for telling.
A rumor about Draco Malfoy is going around Hogwarts and Ginny must discover if there is truth to it. (Formerly titled, Ginny Weasley and the Slytherin's Trouser Snake.)Category: Completed Short Stories
Nooo! Stupid cliffhangers. But honestly, I actually kind of like that it is unresolved; makes it more lighthearted and less about the trouser snake that started the whole thing. And I absolutely love your Awkward!Ginny and Sweet!Draco.
Ginny Weasley's obsession with chocolate leads to a rather interesting development.Category: Completed Short Stories
I liked how you didn't make our hero a 6-ft-plus sex god, and the mental asides were great. Fabulous, but short! too short! off to read more of your stuff...
He didn’t really want his sweater back. He just wanted the sweater-stealer to think of him. If he could get both the sweater and the thief back, and achieve world peace, then that was even better. One-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
i take it you really, really like blueberry scones. loved this one too.
Author's Response: Yes, I do! Blueberry scones are so YUM! Thanks for reading! *gives you a virtual blueberry scone*
Draco and Ginny hate each other with a passion. The end. Well, no, not really.Category: Long and Completed
hey! i drive a tiny two door ford escort! and it's hell to drive in the snow.
I can't decide if I want them to jump into bed together RIGHT NOW or just keep badgering and flirting. I think the second would be funnier in the long run, though. Awkward sexual tension always is.
He thinks she's gorgeous, he wants to kiss her... okay, sorry, I just watched Miss Congeniality. I liked this chapter, it had action in it! of the Auror kind, not the bedroom kind. And I'm having a tough time deciding whether the Lewises are actually evil or not.
Ack! It's OVER! I absolutely loved your characters, and I'm sad that you're leaving them as soon as they get together. I like to read about them when they're *in* the relationship, not just the road getting there. And your D & G are so entertaining! Oh well, I guess I'll have to be happy with what I have. Can't have my cake and eat it and all that. Excellent job.
It started with a simple demand - "Stop glaring at me!" - and somehow escalated into long discussions regarding lost causes, the ugly sides of individualism and the uses of spatulas in causing possible mental damage. As the notes and the mutual detentions continues, the long-time rivals might just find more between the lines than the wonders of spatulas.Category: Completed Short Stories
:-D very nice. I really liked the descriptions of how the notes were sent, makes it even more entertaining!
Accidentally injured during a job, Draco finds himself in the Hogwarts’ Hospital Wing, visited by a lovely redheaded Care of Magical Creatures Professor. Minds filled with troubling thoughts, pure moonlight and a certain disconcerting scent would drive the two to most unexpected outcomes.Category: Completed Short Stories
fab! loved it. just a few (nit-picky) things: the paragraph with all the "Him,..." sentences should, I think, be "He,..." and "Unlike humans, though, they’re instincts can never" should be "their instincts". and, maybe, dragons have mates & not spouses. or that could just be semantics. who cares? draco as a dragon tamer? *melts into puddle*
After her shoulder shatters in a painful collision with two Bludgers, star Chaser Ginny Weasley finds herself as a Reserve player on a Quidditch team in crisis. If that wasn’t bad enough, Draco Malfoy invades her flat, Oliver Wood gets on her nerves, and Harry and Hermione are out to get the axe-murderer who’s out to get her. Could her life get any worse? Apparently, it could.Category: Long and Completed
*quits laughing enough to type* i absolutely love your writing! it is so entertaining, and you have written the characters really well. it's almost an extreme parody of them, but you stop just short of it being over-the-top and so it's just hilarious. and i absolutely love draco in his i'm-only-thirteen mindset. he's like the most annoying little brother ever invented.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading! I\'m so glad you like my story!
oh scary! you know what, i think it's whatsherface, the ditsy chaser. well, whoever it is, i can't wait for the next chapter. you are an amazingly funny writer, i love it.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! The ditzy Chaser is Rosalyn Lancaster, but I won\'t tell you what her exact role is in the fic... You\'ll have to find out yourself! ;)
um, is it just me, or does that description of the occamy remind you of Trogdor from Homestar Runner? Except without the arms.
anyway. I really don't think Draco's going to put his memories back in his head, cause that'd just make everything worse for him. Everyone already kind of hates him, and then if he actually remembered everything which makes him hated in the first place? And I haven't decided on who the murderer is. Pansy's a possibility, or maybe Seamus.
Author's Response: Er... Sorry, I\'ve never heard of Trogdor or Homestar Runner. Thank you for reading!
Oooh. Now the question is, is it really Blaise, or is Harry just assuming? I vote for the latter, cause that way it'd be more twisted and random and...stuff. No sweat about the delay; life happens.
Author's Response: Thanks for understanding, and for the review!
When Ginny isn't at St. Mungos, she's out hunting wealthy, single wizards... her favorite pastime. However, when one silver-eyed wizard refuses to give in to her irresistible charms (and retaliates with charms of his own), she does everything she can to ensue that she wins the game.Category: Works in Progress
ooh, what does luna know? it's got to be some big juicy secret about draco. well, even if it's not, i'm interested!
Author's Response: Luna\'s one of my favorite characters. She doesnt really know everything, but its like she can see the outcome of some situations. Thanks for the review!
Draco and Ginny go out on a date post-Hogwarts. Ginny is disappointed with Draco's lack of originality. Can he make it up to her?Category: Works in Progress
haha, he *is* acting like a 12-year-old, racing Oliver to ask her out. onward!
What really happened in the DH Epilogue of Doom. Poor, poor Harry, so very clueless...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter SIXTY-NINE quote of the day:
Ginny scowled at him. “You don’t know me very well.”
Draco shook his head, his eyes more sorrowful than ever. “No. I don’t. Eternity wouldn’t be long enough for that.”
“Why do I feel as if we’ve suddenly wandered into the set of a men’s cologne commercial?” complained Lucifer.
“Can’t you keep your damn mouth shut, Lucifer?” spat Draco.
“Please… really… I don’t think you should talk to him that way,” whispered Ginny.
This is going to be a bit Faustian, I guess? Nice job with quoting the Stones. One of my favorite songs. And I'm trying to get through Paradise Lost right now (well, have been for a few months), so that's a little eerie.
I figured it out with the reactions of Mike & Gabe, but I will admit that before that, I had NO CLUE that TMC would be good ol' Lucifer. I was literally going through lists of canon characters, trying to come up with the most logical culprit.
And I'm a bit confused: are the instances that Ginny remembered seeing the feathers times when Lucifer was there? Cause I had just assumed they were Draco's. I guess I managed to process the bit about Draco having wings, since he's a fallen angel, but missed the whole "wait! it's Lucifer!" part. huh.
This is from last chapter: the cat being able to go through the barrier when no one else could reminds me of The Enchanted Forest Chronicles. Have you read those?
I'm so confused, still, but extremely excited that *stuff is finally happening!!* sorry, just a quick note--i've been non-internet for a while because of finals & friends' wedding, but i'm glad that this is all here! you probably won't get comments every chapter, as usual, but i'm devouring as fast as possible. love it, of course.
ps-yeah, heath ledger's creepy, right? jack nicholson was just crazy, but heath's diabolical and makes me incredibly uncomfortable. damn fine job.
Okay, I'm going to finally de-lurk myself and review. I started reading this...last week? --no, it's probably been two weeks by now-- and never had time to review fully, and then I'd read more and need to say more.
At this point, however, I feel that you're fully aware of how amazing you are at this, and how kick-ass this story is.
I was completely thrown for a loop with the whole Draco Is A Demon bit. And then I thought "of course Draco's a demon, what else would he be?" That's a very good sign for you; I believe fully in the universe that you have created and barely think twice about these huge revelations.
I'm really intrigued by everything, and can't figure out what's going to happen next. And I can't wait to read it; this is a bit odd, finally having to wait for the next chapter!
wait, what? how is that happening? I guess it's his demonic powers or something, but...this isn't time traveling, it's just a memory. I'm soo confused.
And you can make the story as long as you need it to be. I'd rather have a long story that's a good read than a short one that's boring or poorly written.
Well, I guess that's why Draco was at St Mungo's while Ginny was there. But wtf! What is going on with everything else? Why could he see her in the first place?
This is really intriguing/frustrating. I keep trying to come up with a logical explanation for everything, and with a plausible outcome. I can't figure out if Ginny's meddling will facilitate what really happened (Draco & Narcissa getting away, Lucius dying) or if, somehow, she's actually going to change the past. Or the future? Because that always happens: change a little thing in the past, and everything huge changes in the present.
good lord. I can't figure out if what Ginny's doing is a good thing, and will make everything turn out how it did before, when she experienced it for the first time, or if her meddling in the past is going to irrevocably change things. I mean, just because Draco's now bringing what Harry wanted, and Harry didn't have it before, that doesn't mean that something different is going to happen to Lucius. Or maybe something different *does* happen, only it's worse for Draco? And how does Ginny know that this is necessary for saving demon!Draco from hell or wherever?
This is why I don't like time travel. It's waaay too messy.
i'll try to be orderly here:
1) is the book like "How to Raise and Order Around a Demon Child" or "Demons 101"? Or, I bet it's more of a grimoire/book of shadows deal. (side note: I originally put "grimmerie" and then remembered that's a Gregory Maguire thing)
2) In what language is Draco casting his Dark spells?
3) Interesting idea, having Narcissa able to hear Ginny. Makes sense with the whole demonic bit, but I didn't think of that. I was more going for the whole "Draco and Ginny are destined to be together, and so they can communicate across the ages" (the whole Ginny talking to constellation!Draco part fits with that, too)
4) Again, I am still confused by the ramifications of time travel. Let's hope I'm never in my uncle's DeLorean going 88.
5) Thanks for the shoutouts! and, especially, thanks for the regular updates.
6) I think you forgot some quotation marks when Narcissa says no, the spell isn't for Harry.
Thanks. And I promise to use my powers for good. Well, maybe not. They have cookies on the Dark Side, after all.
omg I LOVE What's Opera, Doc? Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit! With my spear and magic hellllmeeetttt.
and I'm sure there is a "Demons for Dummies". There's everything for Dummies. Probably there's even a "Dummies for Dummies"
awww man. "nothing could destroy the glorious happiness of this moment". well, now they're screwed.
And we left Lucius rather alive, so what's the deal with that? Also, if Narcissa's alive, does that mean Draco doesn't go insane? And then he won't be in the psych ward, and then he won't see Ginny, and then they won't get together...okay, I'm going to just go along with my previous statement: they're destined to be together (in a non-suicidal, non-Romeo and Juliet way) so it'll all work out. Right?
