Author's Response: I really need to work on my titles (hangs head in shame). I've been putting these ficlets on my livejournal and only thought of posting here at the suggestion of Mynuet. I'll be posting the rest of my writing once I've polished it up a bit.

That was cruel, not only to Ginny, but to himself. I don't know which one will break down first - my money is on him. Although it is about time Draco took charge ;)

Oh my, everyone is just scheming away. Something or someone has got to give here! And poor Ginny. She's so confused and mixed up that she's about to miss out on the best thing that ever, ever happened to her. *sigh* Draco is so adorable in his absolute adoration of Gin. It's easy to see that he's totally in love with her and all he wants is her happiness. He's willing to do anything to assure it. Narcissa and Blaise - oh my - why do I think I should be afraid, very afraid...their plot...oh my.... As you can tell, I loved every bit of it :)

Author's Response: (Cackles evilly) Ah, the plot - well, I have the feeling that Narcissa and Blaise are devilish on their own, and then when together...

You know they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions...well, it is and there seems to be a huge accident waiting to happen here. All that work so carefully crafted undone by one offhanded comment by a co-worker. All hell is about to break loose here. *can't wait* I hope Blaise can fix it before it all collapses around their ears. Are they going to get outted soon than planned? I don't think Narcissa is going to allow much to stand the way of many, many red/strawberry blond/blond grandchildren Draco and Ginny's union could provide her with. She'll stop at nothing I think. *bounces in anticipation*

Author's Response: I'm determined to wrap this story up in the next few days - even I want the two to get together already! Of course, I do want a bit of Blaise and Narcissa mayhem first ... they're such fun to write.

*happy sigh* They are finally happily married, well, almost happily married. *smites Molly & Arthur* How could they do this on their only daughter's wedding day? I never thought I'd say this, but yaya for Hermione. She's the only one with a brain in the lot of them. She and Ron need to breed lots of children so that brains will get back into the Weasley gene pool. I simply adored Narcissa - she is a mite scary though - who could blame poor Blaise!! She's a force of nature let me tell you! I'm sorry that this is over, except an epilogue, because it's been bloody good fun!!!

I am very sorry to see that you're abandoning this story. I know that I don't care of a story doesn't follow canon exactly as long as the story is good, or in your case, excellent. But I do respect your decision and your story will be missed.

*fans self* That was wickedly hot. Draco is such a lucky boy to have a woman like Ginny willing to perform such research. It's just such a hardship on him, I know, having to submit to said reseach. I must say that fruit was sacrificed for a greater cause...

*sniffles* The last one? Please say it isn't so!!! I love these little interludes - all the D/G love and happiness of their early relationship before the relatives start to interfer. I suppose all good things must come to an end, but I'm sorry to see it end.

Author's Response: I have a few bits of fic written but they don't fit in the continuity of the story as I've posted it. I plan to try and pull the two stories together and post it somewhere (?) with the other bits I've written. I have a piece written where Ginny and Draco face off about her refusal to be seen in the wizarding community but it doesn't fit anymore in the sequence I've posted. Damn being a newbie, I'm not sure how to handle this ... suggestions anyone?

Amazing really, how silly Ginny was about all of this. I would be wanting to sing to the world I was in love with and shagging the hell out of Draco Malfoy. I suppose she had her reasons (namedly her parents), but she needs to learn to do things for herself and the hell with her family. It is their loss. No point in being miserable just because they *might* not like something.

Author's Response: I really hesitated to post this to Interludes as it seemed to fit better with NJFA, but I was so near the end. I do plan to leave the two stories be for a bit, and then combine them into one, fixing errors, smoothing the storyline, and polishing. I'll then repost to the Archive. And thank you so much for your reviews and encouragement. This has been a real experience for me ... I hope I can continue to entertain. You've set such a wonderful example with your world of the Malfoys and Liam and Gareth.

This was the first story of your's I ever read. I was hooked right from the start and it is still my favorite. I cannot help but feel so bad for my darling Draco, all he wants is his wife but fate has other ideas. My poor baby. *sigh* One of the greatest angsty stories ever!!!

How in the world could she possibly leave him like that?!?! What they have so special and beautiful and so perfect. You know I love all this angsty Draco pining for Ginny stuff. You have just the right balance of fear and desire in Draco. It makes me just want to love him to death myself if she won't have him.
