Choosing Evil by Mynuet    (Reviews - 68)

Why was Ginny Weasley standing in a circle of robed and cloaked figures, swathed in black except for her uncovered left arm? Why was the littlest member of a family ruled by a muggle-obsessed patriarch awaiting being branded with the Dark Mark?

Ah, what a beautiful story... Very subtly written. Portrays the plays of politics perfectly. I love how you used Draco and Ginny's love to show corruption happening in people who are pure enough for such love, and how you make that love a screen to mask the potential evil that might happen.

And the ambiguity too, that was nice. Leaving it to the reader to decide/see if D and G are going to become Voldemort resurrected or actually conform to their idealism.

Well done and brava!

Worked Like a Charm by Vesica    (Reviews - 13)

Written for Challenge 2 (Persuasion) at the DG.com Forums. Draco and Ginny are both pretty darn good at persuasion, but just who is persuading who?

Ah, so Slytherin, the lot of them. So everyone's happy in the end, hm? Except Harry, who has no idea... Or does he? He could've sent Hermione and Ron away on purpose for a weekend so he'd get solo invito. Oooo

Faerie Tales and Dragonflies by gidge_8    (Reviews - 200)

Light-hearted and fun. Ginny Weasley finds herself the target of a bit of manipulation while helping Narcissa Malfoy plan her 25th anniversary ball until mischief and a little mayhem land her squarely in a Cinderella situation. Romance abounds, with a litle help from the faeries. Winner - Best Portrayal of Ginny Weasley - 2008 dg ficexchange.

Oh. My. God.

I just looked through the "featured" section and found your story, then I proceeded to spend half the day reading it. (at my mom's exasperation)

That was absolutely amazing. I can honestly say it was one of the most wonderful, if not the most wonderful, DG long fanfic I've ever read. And I've practically scoured all the fanfic sites (yea, I'm a maniac XD)

I loved the portrayal of Ginny (well, master of the obvious here) and all the other characters just fit, your style is impeccable and the humor and drama all balance each other out so nicely. I thought the reference to faeries as the proposal was really sweet, (and the fact they had to do it twice was amusing) The fic has really made my time investment in fanfiction seem worthwile. Thank you so much for writing and making me (and tons of others, I'm sure) extremely happy.

I READ THE FOOTNOTE AT THE END!!! *squealllllllll* SEQUEL!!!!! *breaks out in celebratory hysterics* (sorry, DG gets me in a preppy mood)
I'm looking forward to it sooooooo much... (but even if you will/have drop/ped the sequel, as may happen sometimes, keep writing! You're great at it, and we readers all love you!!)

Author's Response: Hi! Thank you so much for such a thoughtfully written review for my story. It\'s nice to know that others love it as much as I do. I do have 2 other fics underway, so the sequel will be a bit. I so greatly appreciate you taking the time for the feedback, so that I know that all my weeks of work on the project was worth it.
