*Winner of the Draco/Ginny Fanfiction Award for Best Novel Length Story.* "Perhaps not everything is as black and white as it appears. Perhaps, even my father was tangled in a web of his own emotions, and in the end it spelled his death. Perhaps I too will share his fate, dying not for the cause I believe in, but for that which I cannot foresee." The ever weaving threads of our own decisions can lead to irrevocable knots, and when Lucius Malfoy is destroyed by unexpected forces, his son, Draco, is thrown into a world of political intrigue, insatiable passion and desperate gambits, opening doors he never thought to look for, and creating a life he never thought he would have as his own.Category: Long and Completed
While I love the story, I do think that the way Ron and, well, most everyone in the story speaks is a little off colour. While I can understand Draco being as proper as Her Majesty, Harry, Ron and Ginny most certainly would not be. Though I do love the aristocratic edge it brings [in my mind, anyway!], I do find it a little disconcerting to see such elegant speech mixed with the words "Ma" and "Da."
Overall though, I absolutely adore the way this story is coming together.

I dislike the fact that you said this is going to be DH [including epilogue] compliant. >:( It makes me very unhappy, especially since the story is already past the end of DH and I'm only on chapter like, 94 or something. Therefore, it can't be DH compliant. SO THERE.

I don't want Ginny with Harry.
Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
Ginny Weasley is absolutely sure that Draco Malfoy is hatching a particularly evil plot as junior head of the Ministry Department of Culture, and that it definitely involves puppy-strangling, bribing officials, and consistently wearing trousers tailored very tight in back. Or at least it's a theory that makes sense when she's been surviving on two hours of sleep a night for far too long, and Draco keeps vetoing her sketches for the new marble statues at the Ministry fountain. But then Luna Lovegood gives her a potion with some very curious effects, and Ginny finds that she just may have to revise her opinions about those evil trousers...Category: Works in Progress

Author's Response: Welcome back! I'm so glad you're enjoying the story! I'm taking a little hiatus while I work on a different story, but the next chapter is 2/3 complete, I think?? So it's almost finished! Thank you so much for reading!
