Author's Response: Well, he still loves her inspite of everything. He just can\'t help himself. This story was supposed to start at the end of Draco\'s seventh year and so this chapter would be about two and a half years after that. However, the timing is one of the plot HOLES I spoke about. The HBP blew through my plot. Will Draco even be at Hogwarts his seventh year? So I decided to ignore that part and hope readers would let me go with the premise that Draco and Ginny had a preWar relationship - period. Hope that helps. When is Draco going to come into the present picture? Soon I hope. I can't wait to see how you bring him in.
With the translations, you could put them at the end of the chapter. Some other people have done that and it seems to work out ok. Thank god I can speak french because I am far too lazy to actually look these things up. ;)
