It was when she averted her eyes to the side of the building that she saw something to make her blood run cold.
She froze, stopping dead in her tracks and letting her arms fall limply to her sides. She stared at him, eyes wide in the red light of twilight, taking in the sight of his white-blond hair and porcelain features.
“No,” she breathed.
Red and green curses were flying about her in every direction, but it seemed the world had slowed down to her and the man who had not yet noticed her.
I am keeping up with the story and I do like it so definitely keep updating! Great chapter!
Author's Response: I will! Thanks for reviewing!
All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.
Ohhhhhhhhhh Anise! I have been reading faithfully for 116 chapters for just this moment. Ok, maybe not JUST this moment... you are a brilliant writer after all. Love love LOVED it. Ginny and Draco, finally together as they should be. The world is complete. :-)
I'm ashamed that I haven't reviewed until now but I am greatly enjoying this new fic! Always getting into trouble, poor Ginny. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Oh, devious Draco simply MUST have some fun at Ginny's expense, though I don't blame him in the least. Is Blaise a bit of a naughty character, or is Draco just simply possessive or jealous even? So eager for the next chapter! Thanks for the mention, but you're the lovely one around here... you and your damned imagination. Okay, not damned, just much better than mine.
Author's Response: Blaise will be back, so we'll see much more of him, and you can decide for yourself just how naughty he is. ;) Thanks!
Things definitely seem to be set in motion in this chapter and I can't wait for them to pan out. I love the two sides to Draco (although I don't know if I can imagine Draco without two sides) and how even Ginny can't figure out his true self just yet. Are Draco and Astoria absolutely finished at this point? I hope so. And then Draco's last words... I know she'll wait, right? Brilliant as always!
Great chapter! I was wondering when Nick would make an appearance... I've been missing him. :]
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Nick/Loki/the Devil does have a personal interest in the outcome here... so he'll be showing up again. ;)
Excellent chapter. Loved it, every single word. Must go and find chocolate now. ^_^
Author's Response: Thank you! :) I think it was inspired by all the chocolate chip cookies around here lately.. also the New Seasons market has these amazing brownies... anyway, more Draco chocolate soon.
Many years ago, Draco Malfoy made a choice that led him very far away from Ginny Weasley, and the life that they might have shared. But not only is it hopeless to fight fate, its paths have a strange way of turning when you least expect them to, as a very unexpected person later learns...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter FOURTEEN Quote of the Day:
“It can’t be worse than going to Romania. James is getting worse by the day. Lily doesn’t care about anything but her broom. And Mum and Dad—“ Albus breaks off.
Ginny. Scorpius can feel his face stiffen, and he has to conjure a coughing fit to cover it. Incredible how simply hearing of her, not even hearing her name, is enough to cause that stab of feeling in him. Just when he thinks that he’s over that sort of thing entirely—
“The point is, I’m so glad I can go with you,” sighs Albus.
Maybe I ought to wish that you couldn’t, thinks Scorpius. For your own good.
I LOVED this chapter. My apologies, law school has made me a horrible reviewer (or non-reviewer as it were) but I read every new chapter of each of your stories with unbelievable fervor. I love the mystery of Draco and Ginny in this fic and I find myself quite drawn to Scorpius and his troubled thoughts. My favorite part of this chapter was the introduction of Marie. I feel like I've been waiting ages to meet her and now I understand why. Brilliant chapter, brilliant fic. Can't wait for the next update.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Yes, life does get in the way, doesn't it? ;) There are definitely a lot of mysteries surrounding Draco and Ginny in this fic-- their past history, what originally drove them apart, what's going to happen to them in the future-- and we WILL find out the answers. I just couldn't resist the Marie-cameo. ;) And there will be more soon!
