Vineyard Summer by jessica k malfoy    (Reviews - 387)

Ginny Weasley is sent to stay with her grandparents until the war ends, as her parents want to keep her out of harm's way. Her grandparents have another guest, another person in hiding, and a relationship quickly blossoms between them. However, with the war and so many secrets around them, Ginny isn't sure how to make it work. Fluffy occasionally, but things can't always be perfect, can they? Decisions have to be made and consequences dealt with.

For a fleeting moment, she imagined that they would never hear from their families again, that they would remain together in Tuscany until they were old and gray, with great-grandchildren. Much to her surprise, the thought didn’t make her as sad as she thought it should.

Well, I'm really enjoying this! I read the entire fic last night and I like the way you have everything set out in the AU. Keep up the good work :)

Author's Response: Awww, thank you! I read fanfics at night too. The next chapter should be up soon. It takes quite a turn. ;) Glad to see that you're enjoying it.

Malfoy In a Glass, Darkly by Anise    (Reviews - 129)

Many years ago, Draco Malfoy made a choice that led him very far away from Ginny Weasley, and the life that they might have shared. But not only is it hopeless to fight fate, its paths have a strange way of turning when you least expect them to, as a very unexpected person later learns...

Chapter FOURTEEN Quote of the Day:

“It can’t be worse than going to Romania. James is getting worse by the day. Lily doesn’t care about anything but her broom. And Mum and Dad—“ Albus breaks off.

Ginny. Scorpius can feel his face stiffen, and he has to conjure a coughing fit to cover it. Incredible how simply hearing of her, not even hearing her name, is enough to cause that stab of feeling in him. Just when he thinks that he’s over that sort of thing entirely—

“The point is, I’m so glad I can go with you,” sighs Albus.

Maybe I ought to wish that you couldn’t, thinks Scorpius. For your own good.

I'm really enjoying this so far! Do you know how long it will be?

Author's Response: Thanks! This will actually be pretty reasonably short, especially by Anise standards. ;) Some stories are just born to be limited in length, and this is one of them.
