All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.
Oh my goodness. I'm a total lurker, but I've loved for you fics for a LONG time. But I started freaking out when I read this because I had NO IDEA you live in the same state I do! And apparently, same county. I'm kind of boggling at the fact that I could know you, without knowing that I know you. Dude.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Well, if you've been to the city dump off Trinity Lane in the last week, you have DEFINITELY seen me, because I've been there ungodly numbers of times with junk from my basement. Also Hillsboro Hardware. You just never know... ;)
Aw, I just love Draco. Poor guy, having such a twisted father. It's a wonder he ended up as close to decent as he did.
Also, I think all D/G fics should now incorporate Gould and Darwin. Very nice. ;)
Completely unrelated, but I wonder if Yoda might've worked at Gringotts...
Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Yep, I don't think Lucius will be getting a Father's Day card anytime soon... (but is he around to get one? Hmm, that's the question.) Glad you liked Steve & Chaz! I really didn't know how they were going to work out in D/G. Maybe Yoda DID work there. Wasn't he supposed to be 900 years old by the first installment of Star Wars? He had an entire past life... ;)
Just read like the last 5 chapters in one night. So first off, happy belated birthday!
I just can't wait to read the ball... I admit, I really want to see them pining for each other while spending time with their respective dates. But this story as a whole is so enthralling. You're definitely one of my all-time favorite D/G writers. So thank you for writing, and I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) And I guess that would be a happy unbirthday... (peeks into crystal ball) You just might see that at the Ball. Who knows. And there's more coming up soon!
Oh how I love when he calls her "Ginny." I love the description of Ginny's ball attire, she sounds ravishing (and I'm not someone who's usually that interested in what characters are wearing). Can't wait for Draco's reaction when he sees her. I'm sure some interesting developments will occur at the ball.
Author's Response: Thanks! I had fun with Ginny's ball gown-- I was trying to make it as accurate for Regency period costume as possible. LOTS of fun stuff coming up at the PBB, very soon! :)
Ohhh goodness. As always, can't wait to see where this leads. So much unexpectedness! So many questions!
Author's Response: But some more answers coming up soon! :)
You. You are brilliant and wonderful and evil. Oh evil, evil cliffhangers.
I love the vulnerability that we were able to see in Draco in this chapter. It's a totally new view of him to be able to see him and his mother interact. I hope we see more of Narcissa in the future.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Um... yes. I knew that was an evil cliffhanger, but it had to end there. You'll see. I thought about letting the scene go on, but if it did, it would end on an even worse cliffhanger that just didn't SEEM like one... trust me, it would have been a whole lot worse.
Ohh my. Is it finally that time we've all been waiting for? This is so well-written and sensual. And thank goodness Ginny got her body back! I can't wait to read what comes next and to see where the story goes after this.
Author's Response: (shakes the crystal ball again) Signs still pointing to YES! thank you, thank you! Yes, I'm glad Ginny got her body back, too. Things are only going to get more interesting from here. :)
The war drags on and on, and Ginny and Draco are trapped in a never-ending cycle of passion, betrayal, revenge, and reunion on opposite sides of the battle… until a terrifying chance comes along to change it all.Category: Long and Completed
CHAPTER FIVE quote of the day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
“Oh, no,” moans Ginny.
“Wait a minute,” says Draco. “That’s Lovegood, and she can see us. That means…” His eyes grow cold. “You’re no hallucination, are you?”
“What else do you think I’ve been trying to tell you for the past half hour?” hisses Ginny.
My god. The emotions in this are so powerful - the confusion and exhaustion with the continued fighting and weakening magic, the fear and dedication to her brother, the hurt and yearning for Malfoy. This will be continued, yes? I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Thanks! Oh, yes. It'll be continued for sure-- that would be a VERY strange place to end it. ;) More coming very soon!
Gods, poor Draco. And Ginny - so Dumbledore and the Order did use her? That's so horrible. I hope Draco can understand...
Author's Response: Yep, they did. Kind of puts things in a new light, doesn't it? But there's clearly more to it all than Draco knows now, and he'll find out.
