Ginny Weasley is sent to stay with her grandparents until the war ends, as her parents want to keep her out of harm's way. Her grandparents have another guest, another person in hiding, and a relationship quickly blossoms between them. "Perhaps it really didn't matter what he was, perhaps it just mattered that he was." Unexpected events lead to unexpected relationships. Can one person be so important to the destruction of Voldemort? Nothing happens by chance, but sometimes, life might be simpler if it did.Category: Works in Progress

“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”Category: Works in Progress
When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.

Great story. I would love to see more. I would also love to see an update of Buttercup! Keep up the wonderful writing.
Author's Response: I'll have to think about it. It definitely wouldn't be for at least another month or so. As for Buttercup, I will be working on the next chapter tonight. Hopefully, I will complete it and be able to send it off to my beta by morning. If you follow me on LJ, you'll be sure to find out. But only if you're interested. I'm not trying to pressure you or anything. Thanks for the review.

Category: Completed Short Stories25-year-old Ginny Weasley is a reporter for the Daily Prophet but her current assignment to write a story about a clinic for war survivors and its anonymous benefactor will turn her world upside down.
Chapter 5 Quote:
In a moment she had grabbed her wand and was dashing to the fireplace, tossing Floo Powder into the flames.
“Lucy! Lucy, I need to talk!”
Her head was poking into Lucy’s dark kitchen. Apparently, her friend had much thicker curtains. After several minutes of shouting, Ginny was relieved to see a hassled looking Lucy sulk into the kitchen.
“If you aren’t bleeding, I swear to Merlin….” Lucy grumbled, rummaging around in a cabinet and extracting a tea kettle.
Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful story!

Wonderful I was unsure of where the story was going or how a relationship would come together. But it's a wonderful story!
After a year playing Quidditch for the Harpies, Ginny finds herself whisked off to Italy for a summer holiday by none other than dear Aunt Muriel. Although Ginny might welcome a holiday, Muriel is not the best of traveling companions. And when one Draco Malfoy comes rather literally tumbling into the scene, will this prove to be the nightmare holiday Ginny envisions, or something else entirely?Category: Works in Progress
