Twenty-six year old failed college student with a great love of books, but not enough attention span to write one of her own, inner_moppet enjoys Dark!Ginny, Dark!Draco, and anything well written, smutty and suitably angsty. I may one day post on here, but mostly I just like to read and critique the work of people who have much better time management skills than I ever will.

I love this. I've sat and devoured the whole thing in the last few hours and I'm crazy to read more!

I'm wildly jealous as well. I have been working on my first fic for a while and could never figure out how to get D/G together after the events of HBP. Your plot here is inventive and well written. Its really great.

The only crit I may have, is sometimes the language you use strays outside of english slang. I'd have to go back and re-read to give you exact examples, but phrases like "hang out" and "oh crap" seem very american to me. I could be wrong. You are very close to cannon in your tone and I think you are doing a wonderful job, so its a minor flaw anyway.

Keep writing!

Author's Response: About the Amercian lingo, yeah, I know. I am looking for a beta to help me with that. I had one, but she hasn\'t gotten back with me in like 2 months and I didn\'t want to keep waiting. To make matters worse, I am a Southerner! :D So it is extra tough! hehehehe I am glad you like it though and when I do find someone to finish betaing the last few chapters, hopefully they can help me with the Brit-speak.

Woot! I hope my Review Crown is made of cookies, so I can eat it. I'm very very hungry. The jewels can be delicious chocolate chips... Ahem, I digress...

What I don't get is how Arthur thinks the these immoral, evil people are going to see the error of their ways with this new prison system. Its well intentioned, but its putting a lot of faith in the hands of people too narcissistic to do the right thing when they had opportunity in which to do it. Now even if they get out, they have nothing: no Dark Lord to cling to, no status within the wizarding community, mistrust and social ruin would plague them forever even if they did admit/re-live their sins. Doesn't sound like a good reason to try. So it becomes a prison of their own making because they are too egocentric and self-involved to really try to get out. Its both diabolical and perplexing. I wonder if he meant it to be that way. I know this has nothing to do with the chapter at hand, but bumping into Bella got me thinking some of this stuff.

I love that even Draco's pity, isn't really pity. If he had some spare, he'd give it to Snurk, but he doesn't so never mind. I love that.

Snurk is a pathetic creature. I'm both impressed and squicked out wondering about his lineage. You've already set the stage for Bella being weird/immoral/alternative-lifestlye enough to sleep with family members. Could Snurk be both her son, and her lover? Cause if so, I give you a hearty ewwww while I applaud.

"It was dying, Draco saw, but not yet quite dead." Nice. Much like Draco and Ginny's beautifully warped relationship.

Hee, "Snurk and Snape"... that phrasing sounds like the noise I make when I eat spaghetti.

Good chapter with a nice literal cliffhanger!
