Successful business mogul Draco Malfoy has nothing on his wish list for Christmas - he already has it all. That is, until someone reminds him of what he gave up long ago to get there. Based on the movie of the same name.Category: Long and Completed
Love is movie and your Harry Potter interpretation of it! Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: It's a (somewhat guilty) pleasure of mine too. I hope you will enjoy what's to come!
Love it! Getting better and better.
Author's Response: Excellent, that is the right way to go!
Great addition to the story!
Author's Response: Thank you :)
I enjoyed how you incorporated this scene from the movie!
Author's Response: Thank you :) I didn't want to copy it straight through as it has bits I don't like so I'm glad you enjoyed my (almost copied) take on it. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: It's coming....and waits will be shorter from now on as site is behaving for me again!
Ginny meets Draco under the mistletoe during his terrible sixth year at Hogwarts, then parts from him forever... or so she thinks.Category: Completed Short Stories
This short story was perfect. I can only imagine how a longer version of this story would be. Great work (as always).
Author's Response: Thanks! :) The longer version... well, it gets more involved, let's just say. Draco's character is a little darker, and it's more obvious how tormented he is by the events of his sixth year. But he does make a deliberate choice, more than once, to do the right thing instead of the easy thing. And... the rating is also a LOT higher. ;)
The new flying instructor has become a bit too chummy with the rest of the Hogwarts staff. Draco takes it upon himself to find out why. Written for Charlie in the DG Forum's 2016 Secret Santa Fic Exchange. One-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
Lovely winter story! Keep them up. They're wonderful.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. n_n
He hasn't seen his wife for weeks now. It's Christmas, so it's about time he did... One-shot Created for DG Forum's 2016 Secret Santa Exchange.Category: Completed Short Stories
Absolutely beautiful! You dealt with the loss of a child so delicately and how it can easily affect both parities. Definitely a good read. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you. "Delicately" is actually a word I wasn't expecting to describe the writing and emotions in this story, but the more I think about it and how fragile the moment between Draco and Ginny are and their state of minds, I can't help but think that word suites everything perfectly. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
During his sixth year at Hogwarts, Draco balances on a knife's edge of danger, at constant risk of losing his footing and falling into an abyss of darkness. He can't trust anyone at all... or can he? When it comes to Ginny Weasley, he's determined to find out.Category: Works in Progress
Chapter TEN quote of the day:
“Ginny, I didn’t lure you here for some underhanded reason,” he said, stroking the hand under his, glad that she didn’t pull away from him. “I swear I didn’t. I just… I wanted to be with you for a little while, someplace where nobody could find us. I think..” He hesitated, and then confessed the truth. “Ginny, I think I wanted to tell you these secrets all along.”
“Maybe.” Her mouth quirked up. “But you could have told me at the very start that this was your grandfather’s lodge, you know.”
“I should have done,” he admitted. “Honesty is not a Malfoy trait, Ginny.”
She rolled her eyes. “As if I really needed to be reminded of that.”
He enclosed her hand in his, feeling her small, strong fingers. “But I’ve told you the truth about everything now. You do believe me, don’t you?”
“Yes,” she sighed, moving back against the headboard, bringing him with her so that they were seated more comfortably. “I wish I didn’t. I wish I thought you were only lying, or even bragging, trying to make yourself sound more important than you are. But I know you told the truth.”
I love this chapter, but you really know how to make a person yearn for more. You're quite adept at that. I'm enjoying Draco's POV than I thought I would. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) There's a lot more to come, with lots of twists and turns... we eventually DO get back to Ginny's POV, too.
Thanks for update Anise. I love how level-headed Ginny is in this fanfiction and how vulnerable Draco is. Can't wait for more!!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) I like that you're picking up on those themes, because I think they're definitely there. Ginny SEEMS to be more vulnerable in some ways, but I think she actually isn't. More coming soon!
Love that you made a one-shot longer. So excited!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Yes, it's longer, and also goes into very different territory, so I hope everyone enjoys.
Their interactions are so adorable.
Author's Response: They DO get a little less adorable after this...but you will see. ;)
Oooo. Sneaky sneaky Draco.
Author's Response: Yes, I do think that he has his sneaky qualities in this fic for sure (and they're going to get stronger, too... ;)
Please update soon! I'm definitely curious to see where this is going...
Author's Response: Thanks, the next chapter is coming soon! This story is going to have some twists and turns... and thanks so much for the reviews. :)
Wow! You did not disappoint. That was definitely a steamy chapter. Can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thanks! Yep, there are steamy chapters in this fic.. ;)
I enjoy how you write Draco's warring conscience. Also you know how to write NSFW scenes like no other. Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Um, the scenes can be a bit NSFW, but at least I'm not posting the pics here. ;) For some of these fics (not this one yet, though), there are pics that... well... I haven't posted anywhere yet... maybe I will at some point. I think that Draco's POV scenes are all about the war between the best and worst parts of himself, in a way, but he always manages to pull back. Anyway, more soon!
Noob! You can't just leave it there. I like you have some hints of Draco as his older self watching a scene of his younger self. I can't wait to know more about what's happening to future Draco.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) You caught that!! I was wondering if anybody would. ;) There's more to this story than there seems to be... if you've read the original short version, I think you might have already guessed that. But it also goes way beyond the more simple stuff that was in the Xmas challenge fic...Such as exactly WHY Abraxas Malfoy gave Draco the stone that would send him and Ginny to that lodge.
Okay unfortunately the comment was autocorrected didn't mean to say Noob
Author's Response: Snerk, I know, autocorrect does some strange things. ;)
Wow! What an update...you surely know how to write love scenes. I enjoyed how you showed the differences how each of the characters felt about pleasure. Well done as always!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) I really feel that in this fic, smut isn't just there for smut's sake (not that there's anything wrong with that either), but to show what's going on with both Draco and Ginny internally... and how their desire for each other and reactions to each other relate to the plot. Because they definitely do, and we're going to see much more of that in the next chapter.
Hogwarts flying instructor Ginny Weasley and Potions master Draco Malfoy have a contentious relationship, rife with insults, bad jokes, and unethical wagers. After five years of heated exchanges, their relationship takes a new turn, but will Ginny accept the gamble?Category: Completed Short StoriesPrequel to The Return of the Singing Valentines but can be read alone as well.
Well that was steamy. I like this canon...would not mind more stories. Thanks again!
Author's Response: You're welcome!! If I come up with more ideas for this world or just this trope, I'll be sure to write them. ;) Thank you for reading and reviewing!
“After one too many hits to the head from a Bludger, you’ve forgotten the past ten years,” Malfoy said slowly, staring at her as if she were dumb. “You’ve forgotten you have kids and you’ve forgotten me. Your husband. Which is rather rude, you must admit.”Category: Works in Progress
Definitely enjoyed this chapter. It was interesting to see that their life is not as it seems as she has found the divorce papers and Draco's change of demeanor was sudden. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Can't wait for the update. Definitely enjoyed the first chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)
Such a wonderful chapter. It's nice to read their little interactions with each other. You write these characters so beautifully.
Why would you leave that here? Can't wait to read more. :)
Really enjoyed the friendship that Ginny and Blaise seem to have. Want to definitely see more of their interactions.
Author's Response: Blaise and Ginny's interactions are some of my favorite to write!
