I think I'm one of the last male D/G readers around. No fear here though. I haven't really progressed on any fic since 2009, but everything I've written hasn't been up to scratch in my own opinion. School's been cutting my time short too. Glad to be back though!

Ginny tried again, deciding that it was time for her glowering blond companion to help her out whether he wanted to not.
“It’s so great to catch up with old friends, Draco. Don’t you think?” She jabbed Draco lightly in the ribs under cover of darkness.
Draco clamped his hand around her waist like a band of iron. Oh, no, Ginny thought despairingly. This was not going well.
"She's mine alone,” said Draco.
"But she's got other customers, right?" asked Theo.
"She is not to be shared,” said Draco. “I… ah… don't share my toys. You ought to remember that, Nott.”
"But if she's no more than a toy, then it shouldn't matter." Nott's expression was turning crafty. Suddenly, Ginny had a very, very bad feeling about what might happen next.
“Seems as if you shouldn’t mind sharing Ginny with me, don’t you think, Malfoy? After all we’ve been through together? You know what I mean, don’t you?”

Author's Response: Thanks STT! :) ("Sultry writing..." I think that should somehow be turned into a meme... ;) Yep, I know, it would be great if lust DID work that way... I totally agree... Draco and Ginny are both going to run into snags with that plan, let's just say.
Okay, I can't reveal *everything* obviously, but I WILL say that no, Draco didn't concoct any of this. But there are a lot of surprises on the way when it comes to a number of things that all the characters have done in the past, and that they didn't want anyone else to find out about. More soon...

Hnnng, this magic is confusing. That was so sweet at the end though. I wonder if her scepticism will let her believe he really cares. It'd help if he admitted it though huh. Great read as per usual and glad to have it back.!
Author's Response: Thanks STT! :) It's hard for Ginny to accept that Draco might actually care about her in any significant way, but honestly, I think she has a good point. He's never expressed any of his feelings for her, and he's fought them hard in the past. He also hasn't given her any concrete reason for coming back to her in PDX except that he wants revenge on Theo, she does too, and together they can work to get it. But who knows what will happen in the near future... ;)

I am going to keep reading these as it comes, your complex plot devices are like crack to me.
Interesting paradigm that she love potioned him, I'd never actually thought of that happening. Primal magic still seems crazy Confusing.

Author's Response: Thanks! :) I thought (and still think) that the love potion theory actually is what logically happened (although I doubt JKR will ever admit it. :P) Love potions were everywhere at Hogwarts that year, Harry's sudden response to Ginny would have made sense in that context, and... not to get into the whole argument, but yep, I think it makes a lot of sense. ;)
Anyway, there will be more very soon. In the next chapter... we'll find out *exactly* how the Primal spell works...

Author's Response: Snerk. You do have some idea of how long I've been writing D/G! I feel like this fic shows something of how my writing has grown in the fandom. Hopefully, readers will agree.
Of course, I'm going to go totally insane now from wondering what the prediction is. But if it involves fluffy bunny slippers, then NO. ;)

I find myself comparing this fic with a drug, it feels bad for me with all its smuttyness and wonderful snark, but its addicting and every time a shipment comes in I have to have a taste.

Author's Response: Snerk! Come to the dark side.... we have cookies... and chocolate... and, for a palate cleanser, I just made a bunch of fresh gazpacho. (Holds out bowl) Very nutritious. ;)
It's just felt really... I don't know, *engaging*... to work on this fic. And the next one, *Prisoners.* So maybe that's where the drug analogy comes in. It's felt addictive to write a lot of the time, too.

Author's Response: Thanks! That's a good question (about the length of the fic.) OBS kind of has a natural lifespan... the story itself is pretty well "contained." (Anise feeds the plot bunny-- it's IN A CAGE this time.)
