After frighteningly realistic dreams lead Ginny to France, she finds herself thrust into the middle of a war no one knows about, led by a man no one would have ever suspected. Can she save him from an unimaginable fate? Will she make it out of France alive?

I was so happy to see that you updated, and spent the day re-reading the previous chaps, and your fic is just as amazing if not more so than I remembered. I love the development of Draco and Gin's relationship, as well as all you wonderful secondary original characters; they have such wonderful personality and depth! Can't wait to see where it goes from here, as many of Ginny's visions from the first few chaps have yet to come to light...and I hope *crosses fingers* that you'll be able to update again soon!

Author's Response: Thank you! It makes me positively gleeful that someone out there takes as much pleasure from reading the story as I do writing it :D

Millions and Millions of Malfoys (And One Very Sleep-Deprived Ginny) by Anise    (Reviews - 401)

Ginny Weasley is absolutely sure that Draco Malfoy is hatching a particularly evil plot as junior head of the Ministry Department of Culture, and that it definitely involves puppy-strangling, bribing officials, and consistently wearing trousers tailored very tight in back. Or at least it's a theory that makes sense when she's been surviving on two hours of sleep a night for far too long, and Draco keeps vetoing her sketches for the new marble statues at the Ministry fountain. But then Luna Lovegood gives her a potion with some very curious effects, and Ginny finds that she just may have to revise her opinions about those evil trousers...

So excited to find another update today! Poor, poor Ginny, it's not easy to squash selfish Ginny, when she's being tempted by charming chocolaty Draco...I loved the star trek reference, oh how I adore Nick, who reminds me strangely of Q, toying around with poor Gin and Draco...

YAY, another update! I seriously think you're spoiling your poor overly addicted readers with your superfast updates...not that I'm complaining for I am beyond in love with this fic and your delicious characterization of Draco. I know you said this fic was gonna be short, but I find myself not wanting to say goodbye to Nick, Draco and Gin anytime soon, so i'm hoping that by your standards short still means about a hundred chapters...I really loved this chap though, as I've missed Nick's humour, and couldn't help laughing at his crazy references, like star wars, preying on my poor geek sensibilities once again...

Draco's Dangerous Dilemma by Anise    (Reviews - 1418)

All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…

Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:

THE LAST CHAPTER

The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.

“You don’t understand,” said Draco.

“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.

Oooh, I just love photoDracoGinny! they're just too adorable...though I do hope real Draco makes a reappearance soon. Wow, Hermione and Harry really are complete twits though, making poor Gin go through those tests just so they could get Draco, gah I really want to bash Harry's head in... Hmmm, I suppose the fact that there was Malfoy activity according to Hermione in Lyme Regis is evidence that Lucius is alive and concocting some evil death eater plot? I love the fact that this fic is your supposed "tame" plot bunny, and yet no one can guess it and that only eleven chaps in there's already so many questions, like the crates! and Marie! which is why I love your fics so much, they're completely unpredictable and epically awesome!

Will Loki be popping in anytime soon? I really do miss his craziness and the rest of the immortals, even though their eventual appearance usually causes even more trouble for Draco and Gin and leads to the crazy plot bunnies multiplying exponentially....

Another amazing chap as usual, can't wait to see what happens next!

Author's Response: You just may get your wish very soon. ;) Some very good guesses too! Yes, believe it or not, this is the tame plot bunny. I think all that means is that it's not a completely rabid Plot Bunny of Death and Doom that hops away with the entire plot, laughing maniacally.Everything is planned out (believe it or not), but that doesn't mean it isn't complicated, as readers are starting to figure out. I love the "only eleven chaps in" part, because I think you've figured something out about my fics... "only" is right. ;) I'm not even going to SAY how many chapters I ALREADY have written. But it all keeps evolving in response to reviews!

I really should be studying for a psych exam atm, but seeing your update I couldn't help but read it! Another amazing chapter setting up Ginny seeing Draco again, and some sage words to Gin, from our fave inanim, Loftia. Poor Ginny's in some serious denial over her relationship with Draco even after her rather foreboding vow. I love seeing Colin stand up to Harry, who as usual is clearly out of his mind as usual. Interesting how Loftia mentions that Harry had "murder in his face" when he opened the lift doors...I guessing that it was directed at Hermione, which makes me wonder what exactly she's done. I really like how the inanims are so loyal and protective of Draco, and I love this line (partly due to how much i dislike the incredible git that is Harry, so any ideas of bodily harm to him are good in my book :): “I won’t say that some of us haven’t been tempted to eliminate certain… obstacles… in our way. Harry Potter’s been spared from vengeance only by our strict code. There’s an Inanim butcher knife in the Hogwarts kitchens that I’ve had to speak to very strictly, once or twice."

Can't wait for the next chap and the return of the delectable Draco!

Author's Response: Well... reading this fic is *kind of* like studying for a psych exam. A little bit. Possibly. If PTSD is on your psych exam. ;) (I work in community mental health... does that count?) Anyway, thanks! Ginny is definitely in some denial, but she thinks it's her only option at the moment. Harry's got some serious issues, all right-- I've always felt that JKR wrote him as a character who *should have* had major dissociative symptoms but somehow didn't; however, it really doesn't work out that way, and in RL, characters like that can't have such serious problems simply dismissed in fake happy epilogues. IMHO, anyway. (Okay, I'm lacing up those running shoes now... there's a Nike outlet right by my house...) Hermione is going to run into trouble, but at bottom, I think she's decided that she just couldn't continue on the path she'd been taking. What this really means remains to be seen, of course. And more soon, including the Official Return of Draco! :)

Love, Love, Love!!! So much going on in this chapter, and the dynamic between everyone is great - I really liked the interactions between Zach (who is awesome by the way) and Draco; you seriously have an incredible talent at writing these characters perfectly and making them seem so real! Hmm...Draco and Ginny stuck in a room at the Crystal Palace for two weeks, whatever will happen? ...especially considering what happened after being holed up in there for less than a day last time, lol how long will poor Gin's willpower hold out? As always, can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Thank you!! :) I really love Zach here. Yup, whatever WILL happen between Draco and Ginny in the next two and a half weeks... well, I think it'll surprise everybody. But there's been lots of foreshadowing. Hint: another fascinating question is exactly what's going to happen right after they get OUT. We will learn lots more in Chapter 72!

The Wedding Night of Draco and Astoria Malfoy by Anise    (Reviews - 38)

Draco married Astoria, but on their wedding night at the Malfoys’ private island off the coast of the South of France, he dreams only of Ginny. How much fun will that honeymoon be? Don’t freak out! It’s all going to be okay. Take deep breaths… oh, just read it. ;) A three-shot companion piece to Draco’s Dangerous Dilemma, it takes place during the events of Chapter 26.

From Chapter Three:

“You simply don’t understand,” Draco told Ginny. “And you might be a bit more appreciative of the fact that I made that sacrifice for you. I can assure you that seeing Astoria in a white dress and not bursting into laughter immediately was a sacrifice indeed. Then, when I was forced to share air space with that skinny slag in her lingerie-- ouch! What did you do that for?” He snatched his hand back. She’d scratched her nails down his skin.

“You seeing Astoria in lingerie,” Ginny said passionately. “That’s why.”

“It’s not as if I liked it!” Draco shuddered.

Hmm, it seems fundamentally wrong to say that I really liked a fic that has Astoria's name in the title, (though I must admit that the smut warning nearly scared me away, but alas I had faith that you would not be so cruel as to put in D/A sex, ungh, i cringe at the thought lol) nevertheless I have to say this insight into poor Draco's fragmented psyche was intriguing. It's very interesting the focus that's been put on purity and innocence in these past two chapters, it seems Draco thinks he needs Ginny to be pure in order for her to cleanse him of his darkness, which is almost ironic, in the sense that Ginny herself doesn't feel pure in that sense, because she feels as though her mind has been tainted by Riddle. I'm not quite sure what to make of Draco's interaction with Lucius at the end of his dream sequence, but it'll be interesting to see how exactly Lucius has been getting into Ginny's head...

Again Draco seems to keep trying to tell himself that he's not capable of love...I wonder is this because of what happened with Marie or a la Draco from Millions & Millions of Malfoys, he really thinks that he can't love? A few more tiny tidbits about the infamous Marie were learnt, making me insanely curious to know exactly what happened with her that completely wrecked Draco so, and I have a feeling Lucius had something to do with it somehow...must spend some more time theorizing...I really do want to believe that Marie is Ginny, who's gone back in time, but sadly I think we all just want Ginny to be Marie so badly that we're seeing clues that aren't really there and aswell with your stories, every plot twist (even the tame ones) are shocking and unpredictable so i don't know what to think...
Loved the little references to Hamlet, lets hope for a happier ending for Draco and Ginny though ;) ... poor Draco what dreams may come indeed.

Can't wait for the next chapter and a return to DDD!

Author's Response: Don't be afraid! It's okay. The smut warning is for... well, let's just say that it's kind of for D/G, and it could probably go down to Definitely Naughty. I think you're onto something with the irony, because right now Draco expects Ginny to have a purity that she can't possibly have; just being her first sexual partner couldn't be enough for him. He wants the impossible-- for now, anyway. More time theorizing is always good... :) The entire plotline about Marie was actually written *first*, and it's Part Three of this fic. So in a way, everything is centered around it. There will be much more to come very soon!
