Absolute perfection. I have kept up with this story since Chapter 1, and though it's been a long literary journey, I have enjoyed every single minute. Every update of yours never failed to make me smile.
Continue writing anything and everything, because you are a brilliant writer. You took two slightly underestimated, underrated characters from the amazing canon and gave them so much depth and personality that they seemed real.

I really, really hoped that enough loose ends were tied up by the end, considering that there were still so many that couldn't be. Draco and Ginny had to reach a certain point with each other in so many ways, but so many things also remained unresolved. We don't know what everyone else is going to do, and there's so much we still don't know about Draco's past. (But we'll find out...) So the sequel will be on its way eventually, and in the meantime, I'll work on some long-neglected other fics. :)

Oh yes, and I forgot something. My theory is that Ginny is Marie, in some twisted way.. Because if Marie is his former lover, and Ginny was able to talk to Adorable Portrait Draco, then she is his companion, and I can only assume that his first love or whatever, Marie is his companion, then Ginny is Marie.
So I have reread that and it probably makes zero sense to anyone who reads it, but atleast it makes sense in my head..hahaha.. Hopefully we will find that out soon! [makes puppy dog eyes]

Poor Draco though, because if you reall think about it, here is a girl he is being promised, who he likes, but the has to admit and face facts that she probably can't stand him at all.. That's kinda sad..

Author's Response: Yep, Draco had a come-to-Jesus moment here, didn't he? At the time, Ginny probably would have tried to stab him with his own wand, but he did face up to it. I read that abstract-- HAHAHHAH!! I did have the evolution theme in mind from the very beginning-- it even inspired the title. I finally wrote out the explanation for that at the beginning of the next chapter. Readers' eyes will glaze over, and then they will probably decide I am insane. Anyway, it's all good.
