The sequel to The Bat-Bogeys Cometh, and the second in the trilogy. In the summer of 1997, the entire wizarding world hovers above the abyss of its own destruction. The Death Eaters have escaped Azkaban and killed dozens of students on the Hogwarts Express, and the school has become a fortress of fear. No-one knows what happened to Draco Malfoy... except for Ginny. But there is more to the story than anybody dreams, and Ginny cannot resist going to Sirius Black’s grave on a long, hot summer evening, and as she tries to unravel the mystery of his life and death, she falls into a dream of the last days at Twelve Grimmauld Place with him, two years before. And when Ginny wakes to the reality of 1997 Hogwarts, she begins to understand why she is remembering all of these long-gone events... because although her last chance to save the wizarding world from the doom that awaits it lay in that summer past, there are powers to whom nothing is impossible—for a price.Category: Works in Progress
It always makes me cry when I reach the end of this chapter and realize there is no more.
I love DDD. Please consider coming back to this one when you are finished with your current story, won't you?

And he begins to learn that nothing will ever be the same again?Category: Works in Progress
Loved Malfoy preening in this chapter. A bit of humor amongst all the angst is very humanizing.

This is very interesting, I really empathize with both your Ginny and your Draco here.

“Bloody hell I will.”
Ginny felt her jaw drop open, she’d know that drawl anywhere. Her temper instantly flared at the realization. “What in Merlin’s name did you think you were doing, Malfoy? Do you want to go to Azkaban? Is that it?”

Fascinating concept. That was courageous, you skipped the easy happy ending and instead opted for hope. Loved it.
All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.

I very much liked that. Sweet, but not overly so. Thank you!
Author's Response: Yes... I've been accused of writing fluff in other fics. :) But this was a bitter day, so the sweet needed to be tempered a bit. I'm so very, very glad you enjoyed. Thanks so much for the feedback. :)
