Grieving by Mynuet    (Reviews - 29)

Tears streamed down her face and she shook her head, leaning over Draco and brushing his hair gently away from his eyes. "I won't go. I won't leave him."

Ron's grip on her shoulder turned hard. "Ginny, the roof is collapsing, we don't have time! If we don't go, we'll die!"

Aw . . . just, AWWW. ^____^. I started to read this expecting a bucket of angst and you end it like /that/. You deceived me into believing I wouldn't be smiling by the end of this!

Anyway, this piece is lovely, and I think it's great you end it on a happy note after leading us on to something much darker. I really liked it .:)

(Yes, reading this fried my neurons as I can't review properly. Just fangirl ;-) ,

Wishes For Your Soul by Lirie Halliwell    (Reviews - 170)

The idea of "renting" her soul out to anyone - let alone a former Slytherin nemesis - did not sit well with Ginny Weasley. But circumstances always tend to go askew and when she finds herself in a dire position, Ginny has no choice but to relent, accepting the deal and the seven wishes offered as payment.

Very interesting premise, definitely original.

I am not sure about the characterisations, but the plot you started is enough to make me want to read the rest. I adore the hints of madness you made 'your' Draco have. :)

"Sorry to disappoint you – and I never thought I’d ever be forced to say this – but I’m not a god.”

*gasps at horror. Malfoy is not a got blessed with the good looks of a million sacrificed virgins?*

These chapters are quite cute, and have great one liners. They are entertaining me and leaving a smile on my face.

I love, how apart from the first wishes she never asks anything for herself. Very noble and Gryffindor'ish.

I am also enjoying the way you 'paint' and develop her character, her excited innocence and at times naiveness contrasts with Draco's sarcastic retorts and subtle tones of madness.

& this is even better because you put LunaxBlaise on the sidelines. ;)

:|, This chapter's fun and casual beginning deviated a lot from the stronger tones near the end, yet I found myself enjoying it. I like how you described Draco's "feelings" towards Ginny with a tinge of irrationality, starting provocative, moving from angry to hurt when she says she is scared. The last sentence left a bitter taste and a fear for the next chapter...

I can't decide if I like or hate the open ending. It does give the story and it's uniqueness a certain appeal but I would've really liked to know what happened...

Especially since google won't help me understand the “Grandus ollus tramenticom… beldeer gramas horeen sa… magum regal sang unitos!” sentence, because it always returns to this story. Does it mean anything

Anyway, this was a really fun read. I love how you made Draco and Ginny your own characters and the story was adorable and sweet yet twisted trough out the 7 chapters. I had a few good laughs and will remember some of the lines you used for long.

I am happy this was recommend to me. It's a unique piece and you did a good job with it. :)

thank you for sharing.

Crucio, A Love Story by Rosalie    (Reviews - 126)

“Let go!” I wail, pulling back from him with a frustrated cry. “I’ve got detention with Carrow and I can’t be late! Please just let go of me!”

He immediately releases me, his expression suddenly darkening. “Oh.” It’s all he can say. We both know what those detentions really are.

Ginny Weasley’s sixth year at Hogwarts is not at all what she expected. Harry’s gone to do something dangerous again, Death Eaters are teachers, and the cruciatus curse is a favorite punishment for misbehaving students… and blood-traitors. Dark but humorous, riddled with both angst and fluff, the events of Deathly Hallows told from Ginny’s point of view without the epilogue.

Written for jessicakmalfoy. Winner of Best Overall of the 2009 D/G Fic Exchange and Best Portrayal of Ginny Weasley. Nominated for Best Portrayal of Draco Malfoy and Best Kiss.

Endless thanks for the beta-ing to Jaden Malfoy.

Aw. ^___^That was a lovely ending - I mean this chapter is still full of angst (it's depressing you still killed Fred) but the ending is adorable. Anyway : I apologise for only reviewing this now - and doing a bad job at it - but I must say I very much enjoyed myself while reading this. I started and just couldn't stop. The plot is wonderful, and I love what you did with Draco and how he balances the "lover" from the "Slytherin" . Besides this fits perfectly in canon, in a way that I can accept it and deem it "canon" by ignoring the Epilogue of doom completely.

Their relationship was delicious to read and I kept grinning at the small details you included such as the Hogwarts founders portraits and their fear for Ginny's chastity. Thank you for writing this - it was without a doubt one of the D/G's I most liked reading in a long while. Well done =)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you found it to work as cannonish as possible, darn that epilogue of doom
