Author's Response: Yes, that's the question... how long will the spell last? ;) We'll all just have to wait and see. Laughing is good! The next chapter.... wow, so much happens. And I CAN say that NYL (and some others, too) will return after Book 1 of DDD is completed and posted. It hasn't gone away! :)

I knew it, Narcissa was his main goal. Throughout the talk with Prudence I was getting just as frustrated as Ginny hahaha often having the same reactions. While this has confirmed my suspicions, it also has formed a dozen questions! When will Ginny be discovered and will it be as Astoria or Ginny? Will she have sex with him as Astoria to fulfill her two vows? What does Narcissa's appearance mean in this part of the story? Pure craziness but as usual you have me on the edge of my seat :)
Author's Response: Yes. Narcissa has been Draco's main goal (well, one of them) for a long, long time. She's the reason he went to the soft spaces early in the first place, before Ginny originally went to look for him a few weeks earlier. Actually, remember at the Crystal Palace a month before, when Ginny caught him thinking that he came back to London both for her and for someone else? Ginny thought he meant Astoria; he actually meant his mother. Anyway, more soon...

Wow this chapter had me a bit on edge, while I know the plan was that Ginny needed to sleep with him as Astoria. It revealed that Draco even though he was forced a part of him is still attracted to Astoria for the magic to work. Rather interesting to how this has played out... even though I had figured it would result in this.
Favorite line:
“Yes, yes, yes; I want you, I’ve got to have you, if I don’t fuck you, I’m going to die. I want you. Gods-damn you. Fucking bitch. I need to have you. You’ve won, Astoria.” I read these out loud hahahaha bring on the sex!
Author's Response: Well, that's kind of the question, isn't it (one of them, anyway)... Ginny is in Astoria's body, but she's still Ginny. So who is Draco really responding to? This will become very important in the next chapter. And, oh yeah, that line.... tender and romantic, wasn't it? ;) But we still have a LOT of surprises coming up as to how exactly this is going to play out. More soon, and much earning of an NC-17 rating!

Author's Response: Thanks! Nope, nope, nothing like that. If we look at what's actually happened between Draco and Ginny-forced-to-wear-Astoria's-body, it's not a lot-- kissing, a torn dress, and her feeling him up with breeches on. ;) Draco's at his worst here (or guilty pleasure best), but I do think he has his reasons. Astoria has really hurt him in the past. More soon!

I wouldn't say that everything is going to exactly fall into place, but Draco and Ginny have reached a huge turning point, and nothing will ever be the same again... I'm not sure when the next chapter will be posted, btw. I have a seminar coming up for the rest of the week, and then I'm working all weekend. But I'll be thinking about it a lot. :)

Rambling is good. :) Now, y'all do understand that this (in 5-6 chapters) will be the conclusion of *Part One*, right? The questions about what's going on with Marie, Narcissa, Astoria, Lucius, Azkaban, Harry's revenge, what happened with Hermione, the art, Ron wanting to kill Draco after finding about D/G, etc., will be resolved in Part Two. However, I'm probably going to work on other fics BEFORE moving on to Pt. 2. More coming soon!

Date: Mar 26, 2011 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1
First let me say Ginny is one hell of a woman... I was planning to not read this (I detest new generation) but I clicked the button and now I'm here :) I'm so in like with Scorpius its ridiculous. I may find his obsession with Ginny a bit creepy in some aspects but it is the one thing that within this story makes a parallel form with his father outside of the typical Malfoy attributes. This story line reminds me of Portnoy's Complaint (Not sure if you have read it but its a little similar) except Ginny is not his mother (I was just as relieved that she wasn't as Scorpius!). I am very interested to see more of Ginny and her point of view or just more of her. I love the description of her as a cat it fits perfectly. I think that is enough early morning rambling... :)
Author's Response: Thanks! :) It's funny how many reviewers say that they normally don't like the next gen fics-- I really don't either, for the most part, but when the muse comes to visit... ;) I just got such a strong sense of who Scorpius is; he's so different from Draco in some ways, and then so similar to him in other ways, not all which he even realizes. I did read Portnoy's Complaint, but it was so long ago... I'm not even sure I remember anything except about the plot, except for the last line! ;) And yes, making Ginny his mother would be just a little too creepy for words. We WILL see more of Ginny, and more D/G too. And early morning rambling is always good. :)

Loved it! Harry is such a butt, his description in this is exactly what I would picture him as which is crazy. As always my heart flutters for Draco hahahaha my favorite line of this chapter, "I am Draco Malfoy, I do not let go of anything that belongs to me, and you will always, always be mine.” I would have slapped him as well but I must admit the confidence/arrogance/wealthy man persona is HOTTTTT. Ok I feel like a groupie hahahaha
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Yes, Harry isn't horrible and evil here, but he just isn't very pleasant by this point whenever we see him interacting with Ginny. She had a hard time resisting the younger Draco, didn't she? I think that she was tempted to do what he wanted her to do for a moment, but in the end, she knew that she just couldn't accept such a small part of him, and that she would never be able to respect herself again if she did it. This chapter was both compelling and hilarious, the craziness of horny teenagers gets me every time, I loved it. I lost it when Scorpius said, "Think of it as the early retirement of Scorpius Malfoy, Sex God of Hogwarts". Where can I find a Malfoy?
Author's Response: Thanks! Well, actually, in this reality... there are an awful lot of Malfoys. There was one fic where I explained the origin of the Malfoys (I can't remember which one at the moment.) They came from the det Ondetro family in Denmark, who raided the coast in Viking ships and were pounced on by nuns in the coastal convents. Since nearly all Malfoy babies are boys, this expanded the Malfoy ranks very quickly. So by the time of this fic, Malfoys had been spread far and wide, and they all look like Draco and Scorpius. :) They're easy to find, if you can get your hands on a time-and-space travel machine that can span sixty-four dimensions. I'm still working on inventing one of those, and I'll let you know how it goes... ;)

Author's Response: Snerk. Well, Harry's not quite a zombie, but he's had a difficult time being trapped with Voldemort in a very small cell for almost a year and a half. I think he's one of the more sympathetic-- or, well, at least less unsympathetic Harrys I've written lately. He's really been through so much, and he doesn't mean to hurt Ginny. He just can't relate to her, and he doesn't know how to try. I don't think he intends to put himself out, either. :P This is a REALLY sad Draco, too... but just keep reading! :)
