When Ginny wakes up as a patient—and Draco Malfoy's roommate—in St. Mungo's, all she has are questions. Without answers, they turn to each other to stay sane, but the edge of madness looms close. In the Janus Thickey Ward, it's impossible to hide from what you are.Category: Long and CompletedWritten for SunnyStorms in the DG Forum's Summer 2013 Fic Exchange, and winner of the Most Creative, Best Response to the Prompt, and Best Characterization of Draco awards. :)
In browsing through stories tonight, I discovered that I had read the first chapter of this story, but never the rest. So of course I had to finish it. And it was adorable! Lovely work. :)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it! Thank you for coming back and reading. :D
It was Christmas Eve, their special night, and he was late.Category: Completed Short Stories
Aww... This is so sweet. :)
The last thing Ginny expected when she got called into work was a promotion; and she certainly didn’t expect the disruption it would cause to her carefully constructed life.Category: Works in Progress
This chapter was fun. I enjoyed seeing them in a non-work setting, acting almost friendly. :) Can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thanks - it took me a while but it will be updated soon! - Ann
Poor Ginny! I was so uncomfortable for her in this chapter. She is many things; but a flimsy, flirty girl is not one of them. Nevertheless, she ended up in Axel's hotel room quite effortlessly. ;) I love her description of Lucius' disappointment feeling "fatherly." I enjoyed her interactions with Kingsley. I'm also glad that she wore what she did to the event (even if Lucius disapproved). Maybe she'll prove to be a "distraction" without having to dress like a tramp.
Author's Response: Yea, don’t worry, Ginny does’t lose herself completely :P And Lucius will be -- well, you’ll want to read the next chapter and then yell at me for being so cruel to Ginny :) - Ann
I LOVE LUCIUS! I really do. He is so hard on Ginny, and yet he does everything he can to make sure she succeeds.
This was a fun chapter. :)
Author's Response: Hehe. Yes, Lucius is pretty fantastic - if he does say so himself. ;) Thanks for the review! ~ Ann
I am enjoying Lucius in this story. I look forward to reading more. :)
Author's Response: He is so much fun! Thanks for the review!! - Ann
I love this chapter! Finally a bit more Draco and Ginny, and not just bickering. I also enjoy the way the relationship between Lucius and Ginny continues to develop, too.
Author's Response: Yes, they are growing up. It took them long enough! I love writing Lucius in my own way, which might be a little OOC but just how I imagine a post-war released Lucius to be. Thanks for the review!!
This chapter was so much fun to read. I loved Ginny's rant about all the things she needs. And I enjoyed seeing both Malfoy men in good humor. :)
Author's Response: Hehe, Ginny had a breakdown moment. :) But it was for the good of the plot. Happy Holidays! - Ann
Private Detective Ginny Weasley makes her living from investigating affairs, but on this case, only one thing is clear: there's more to Draco Malfoy than meets the eye.Category: Long and CompletedFor the DG Forum 2015 Fic Exchange - Winner of Most In Need of a Sequel.
During the speed dating, I was pretty sure Draco knew that Ginny was investigating him. The end of the chapter, though, was hilarious! I look forward to reading the rest. :)
Author's Response: You're just too observant for my humble writing. ;) Really glad you've enjoyed it so far - the final chapter is now posted!
When a case of workplace sexual harassment leaves Ginny in a truly desperate state, the natural thing to do is to convince Draco Malfoy to pretend to be her boyfriend. Naturally.Category: Works in ProgressWritten for SunnyStorms in The DG Forum's 2015 Winter Fic Exchange.
I enjoyed this chapter. I love when they tease each other. The sexual tension - GAH! And their concern for each other is so sweet. I'm glad Ginny was able to find a friend in Daphne, and not have to fend for herself completely at the party. Hoping for more soon! :)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed the chapter!! I'm also hoping for more soon, so let's both keep our fingers crossed that I can churn out the next chapter faster (though it's kind of hard to type with my fingers crossed....) Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!
Still no Paris?! You're killing me. Haha! Still, this was a good chapter. :) I like all of these layers to Draco, like we're watching him go through this whole metamorphosis. And it's cute seeing him make nice with Colin. Seriously, though, when they decided they needed something to make them feel brave and strong, I totally thought that would be going to rescue Ginny. I'm not really sure how I feel about his decision to leave her on her own with Junker in Paris. I get that she's independent, and she doesn't want a knight in shining armor; and I respect that Draco respects that, but I still have a really bad feeling about this. So I'm looking forward to seeing how everything plays out. Especially now that they both realize that they have feelings for each other. I'm glad they at least worked that bit out for themselves. ;)
Author's Response: I know! I know! If I could keep putting Paris off, I would, but I can promise the next chapter will be from Ginny's POV at the conference. :) Hmmm, yeah, I think that's all I'm going to say. As much as I'm dreading writing the next chapter, it's for a bunch of different reasons, not *necessarily* because awful things are going to happen (or are they???). I hope people will be satisfied when they read it! I think everyone is looking forward to what happens after Paris, including me. :) Thank you so, so much for taking the time to tell me your thoughts and worries. Your bad feeling is certainly justified; we'll just have to see what happens, though! :O
“I hate to break it to you, Draco, but you two aren’t pretending to date. You are dating.” Ha! The (pretend) date is so sweet! :) I'm so sad that Draco is in denial about fancying Ginny (though it's to be expected). I can't help but wonder what would happen if they would just admit that they like each other. Junker is such a creep. Ick!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the "date"! I had so much fun writing it. There should be another double date coming up soon... and lots more denial. :D Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!
I'm so happy about the update! I check every few days (even though I told myself I would only check for updates weekly). The argument with Ron was probably my favorite part of this chapter. I'm also glad Ginny at least acknowledges that she has a crush on Draco, even if she doesn't fully buy into it yet. :)
Author's Response: Sorry for the wait, but I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter! n_n
I think the anticipation in this story is going to kill me! Haha! All their sweet couple-y moments that are maybe real/maybe not. Thanks for the update. :)
Author's Response: You're welcome! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! :D
I'm hooked. Looking forward to another chapter. :)
Author's Response: I'm glad! I should be posting the new chapter before this weekend! :D
There are so many things I loved about this chapter - the vulnerability, the intimacy, the KISS!!! The way Pansy (and everyone else in this case) keeps pointing out that they're crazy about each other, even though she knows that they think they're pretending. And Ginny finally admitting to herself that she actually does want a real relationship. Things that I didn't love - Ginny didn't tell Draco about her trip with Jason. I feel like that was a really bad idea. And I'm afraid that something terrible is going to happen. But I'm counting on Draco to swoop in and rescue her. ;)
I've been so hit-and-miss about reviewing. I do read every chapter. Usually on my phone, and then I intend to go to the computer to review, but I often don't get back to it. I apologize for that. But I do love this story, and I can't wait to see where it goes next. :)
Author's Response: I'm really excited to get to the Paris trip. Well, not excited *exactly*. Anxious, yes, because it's going to be the hardest chapter (chapters???) to write, and I really just want to get to the stuff that comes after it. I love how everyone wants Draco to go to Paris and save Ginny! I'm afraid to say anything and ruin the surprise of what's coming, so that's all I'll say about that.... I completely understand about reading on your phone and not wanting to review there. It takes, like, three times as long to write a review on a phone than it does on the computer! Who has time for that!! Especially if you're reading before bed and then you want to go to sleep!!
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I can't wait to share the next chapter with everyone, too! (When I write it...)
I'm so glad the conversation with Hermione turned out so well! I look forward to more Draco and Ginny moments in the next chapter (hopefully). :)
Author's Response: Yay! Draco and Ginny will definitely have more moments together sometime soon. :)
Just popping in to say "hi," and beg for another chapter. :)
I know you were avoiding writing about Paris, but please don't leave your readers hanging. We NEED to know what happens!
Author's Response: Hello! I know, I'm so sorry!!! I never meant to leave anyone hanging. I'm working as diligently as I can on the next chapter, and I'm hoping to have something to post by the end of the month! Thank you so much for your support and patience!
During the war, Draco and Ginny are hiding together in a small cottage in the Cotswolds. They could both use a little cheer and comfort, and maybe some romance. A Secret Santa gift for writerdragonfly.Category: Completed Short Stories

He smiled then, so abruptly that Ginny thought it must be genuine. How he must have looked as a child on Christmas morning, waking to a mountain of presents. Her heart ached. The Malfoys must have had their moments; otherwise, he could not be so sad now. Like she was. The sadness was palpable, and she was tired of it. For one night, they would be as merry as if they were secluded here by choice.
She’d never asked why he was here with her or why he hadn’t handed her over to the Dark Lord when he had the chance. It was oddly noble and yet she couldn’t think he’d done it for noble reasons. She couldn’t bear it if he had. Too many people she knew had done the noble thing and died for it. Give her a selfish reason any day.
Sweet and fluffy. I love it! I especially love that Draco is the one who discovered Voldemort's plan and protected her. And everything that happens after that admission. ;)

This was super cute!

The comment made her grin wider. Closing the distance between them, she brushed her fingers over his cheeks without thinking. Draco grew still at the contact before relaxing into her touch. As their eyes met, she said Tergeo softly. Instantly, all the snow and ice from his face and hair was siphoned off. Upon examining her handiwork, Ginny was pleased to find that she had managed to do wandless magic. The indignation on Draco's face slipped off and was replaced with a serious look of contemplation.Category: Completed Short Stories
"Oh come on, that was just simple magic and I am not the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter for nothing."
Ginny joked, trying to lighten the mood. She knew that look on Draco's face very well: the clear, sharp, piercing grey eyes of his become stormy whenever he was in deep contemplation about a difficult decision. She remembered that look when he first decided to share about himself honestly; that look transpired into a great friendship between them. To be honest, she had never thought they could be friends, good friends even, but there was just something about his dry humour and no-nonsense honesty that she appreciated. If she needed someone to tell her the truth without frills and give it to her, he would be the person she goes to.
Finally, he opened his mouth, "Ginevra-"
I'm a sucker for sweet, fluffy Draco! This is a cute story. :)
Author's Response: Thanks <3 Glad you liked it (:
When Draco opens Malfoy Manor to the public as a haunted house attraction, Ginny must find out what the notorious recluse is up to. Written for the "This is Halloween, This is Halloween, La la la!" Oh. My. Goodness. This was SO sad! Fantastic story concept though. Your writing is gorgeous!

ETA on June 8th: There WILL be a chapter two based on some of the spoilers for Cursed Child. No guarantee as to whether these spoilers are genuine or not and if so, which ones, but a second chapter WILL be written about them. ;)
Your mind is a strange and wonderful place. Haha!
This is a fun little piece. :)
Author's Response: Thanks! :) I think I'll make a meme out of that... ;) There might be more after July, too.
Draco's just been fired from his job, confirming, once and for all, that his attempts to turn his reputation around have been futile. Luckily, someone is waiting for him at home, and her opinion of him is all that matters.Category: Completed Short Stories
I just want to wrap my arms around this Draco, and defend him against the world; but I guess Ginny's got that covered. *sigh*
Excellent story.
Now PLEASE finish The Dating Charade! ;)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! Thank you for reading. n_n
Ginny hoped she would never see another singing valentine again, but, alas, the diaper-wearing, bewinged dwarves are back at Hogwarts, and Cupid's arrow is aimed right at her. One-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is just adorable. I love it! The surly little cupid-dwarves, Ginny being embarrassed in front of her students and getting madder with each (very clever) valentine, and clueless Draco. I like to think Draco is smoother than this, Ginny just throws him off his game. ;) And of course the final valentine and the ending are so sweet. Great story!
Author's Response: Thank you so so much! Yes, I think Draco has had smoother moments. ;) Thank you for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. n_n
