Even Dragons Cry by Calla Dracona    (Reviews - 11)

Sometimes, what you think you want isn't what you need.

Sometimes, what you need is the last thing you ever thought you wanted.

And sometimes, what you want and what you need are one and the same and you get lucky enough to realize it before it's too late.

WWHHHAAAATTT? That’s the cliffiest of cliffhangers!!

I loved the risk of Draco asking her out right away.

It stays true to your Draco laughing with the accountant in the first chapter. He’s got the world on his shoulders but he’s still a young man.

I’m actually more excited for the potentially awkward work meeting than the date.

Absolutely amazing! I’m off to reread until there’s another

Author's Response: It's interesting - I debated putting the ask in a later chapter, but decided that Draco would, in addition to being honest with himself, would also not waste time. He'd already seen too many people his age die. Also why Ginny said yes. :)

That was a real fun chapter!

And I really enjoyed happy Draco and still defensive or unsure Ginny.

Also, Pansy’s character seems very fun

One quick question because I get distracted while reading. Ginny doesn’t arrive alone. What is that other person doing while she’s with Draco in the study?

That’s a slow burn indeed!

I enjoyed that added twist of H/H. Unexpected but I can see it’ll make things more interesting. Also Narcissa plotting in the sidelines a bit seems like a nice added touch.

Cannot wait for more!
