As the unintended Captain of the most despised Auror squad, can Draco Malfoy lead his band of Slytherins through Death Eater attacks and threats from the Ministry? Definitely not. At least, not without the help of his reluctant Lieutenant: Ginny Weasley. Inconveniently, the last person he'd ever ask.Category: Long and Completed
What about Hermione, was she left behind?
Author's Response: Yeah, that was unclear. I just added, "Granger would figure it out," to Draco's thoughts as he runs toward Ginny.
We are getting warmer! I am surprised about DE attacking in the public space and nobody coming to help, but there you go Cute shopping banter, i only wish we see them in the manor more, i wonder how they manage with Narcissa around.
Ahhh, sweet love.... Wait till family gets there, Lol!
Loved the chapter, i think this is my favourite one:)
Author's Response: Awww thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it :D
Lol, great peril indeed!
Very creative:) Death by slime, i am yet to see anybody using that one before!
For Ginny Weasley, being thirty-two years old and divorced while struggling to raise a teenage son on her own, romance just isn't on the map. But when help comes from the most unexpected source she has to re-examine her priorities. Draco Malfoy has it all, the house, the job and the perfect son, but when he meets Ginny Weasley again he realizes all of what he never had.Category: Long and Completed
Great start and I am looking forward to start of the romance:)
Author's Response: So...Tbis is ridiculously late and you're probably not arounf but anyway - thank you! It's coming :P
The last thing Ginny expected when she got called into work was a promotion; and she certainly didn’t expect the disruption it would cause to her carefully constructed life.Category: Works in Progress
Yes, Malfoy's have some designs in her, no doubt there. I feel very that in some ways Pride and Prejudice has come to HP world, or may be is because i am reading lots of P&P fanfiction at the moment?:)
Author's Response: I think there could be a little bit of that - and maybe a little My Fair Lady. :) We’ll have to see where the Malfoys take her. Thanks for the review! ~Ann
Well, well! So i love Blaise and i love the trio; Blaise, Ginny and Draco:) How come Draco didn't know about the diary? Or he just did not know that Ginny was the girl with the diary?
Author's Response: I assumed/took creative license in assuming that Lucius would not have told him. -Ann
Wow! Ginny will have some horrible time ahead of her, she either will have to accept this as part of the job or make a stance with her boss. I wonder why Draco was so talkative in front of the guards? Did he think they could not understand him or something?
Author's Response: It’s Draco. He really just doesn’t care :P And yes, Ginny is going to have to confront someone about something, but it won’t be what everyone might think. Thanks for reviewing! - Ann
So it gets better and better! I wonder if Ginny will have to work for Draco as well, while he is between assistants?
Author's Response: I guess we’ll have to wait and see! Thanks so much for the continued reviewing ~ Ann
I love how you sketched the characters so precisely I can almost see them. Lucius was just spot on and I am looking forward to see how he gets Ginny to transfer. I suspect somehow she will be picked to replace Astoria, perhaps something to do with " innocence"?
Author's Response: Lucius can be awfully persuasive when he puts his mind to it - so Ginny should probably watch out. And only time will tell with what happens with Astoria ;) . Thanks for the review!!
I find it amusing that she is used to Ron , they have been friends for years now, so of course she would be too familiar with him. But I was under impression that they have been dating before they went to travel.
I am curious to find out how you will get them together, will she have to go back to Lucius?
Author's Response: In my head (and not really explored in this story) Ron and Hermione tried and it just didn’t work while they were away, so it wasn’t going to work when they came home. I guess only time will tell what happens with Ginny! Thanks for the review!
And she is in! Nice of Lucius to make a first step, but i suspect there is an ulterior motive..
Author's Response: .. Just because it’s Lucius doesn’t mean there’s an ulterior motive ... hmm, something about that sentence seemed wrong - maybe cross out the doesn’t. :)
Poor, poor Ginny. Somebody needs to take her under the wing, so she can learn about clothing and other high society things. She will have to attend the balls and such and it will be even harder to fit in. I also wonder if Ms vs Miss was Lucius‘s way to separate them in the sense one is a virgin and the other isn’t?
But Abraxan’s bit was hilarious, well done:)
Author's Response: Lucius is mysterious - but mostly I think he just enjoys making Ginny upset. And much later, it will become clear exactly how much Lucius knows about Ginny’s personal life. ;) Thanks so much for your continued reviews! - Ann
Oh, what a horror will await her in the morning! I take it she had a total make over as well? I do have a feeling that Malfoy elders have some desings on her, besides work:)
Author's Response: The Malfoys are a complicated family, and even writing this story, I sometimes don’t know what’s in store for Ginny. Things just happen to her and I go, “Alright, we’ll go with it.” :) Thanks so much for the continued reviews!! - Ann
So colourful history, hmm? I wonder why she was so bland then in the beginning of the story?
It also seems that german minister is after something more then sex
Author's Response: I don’t think that being conservative in dress and speech necessarily means she wouldn’t be adventurous in her personal life. She just keeps that type of thing separate for professional purposes. That’s how I view it anyway. And yes, Axel makes a large appearance in the latest chapter. Happy holidays! - Ann
Ok, so my theory is that Narcissa is getting her ready for a different role, i doubt she spent that much time, money and effort on Romilda, so why Ginny?
Author's Response: Or it could be that Romilda was already rather put together so they didn’t have to spend time on her? Just some food for thought - or another reason to find my vague replies annoying. :) - Thanks for the review!! - Ann
Lucis does know his son well! It was amusing and funny on so many levels: the toe stabbing episode, the powder room, the emergency bag, all coming together and creating a great ballroom scene! Thank you for the quick update, i am very much looking forward to next chapter:)
P.S. Will you do a couple of chapters or outtakes with Draco's POV?
Author's Response: So happy you enjoyed it! I would possibly think of doing some outtakes with Draco’s PoV rather than whole chapters because this is firmly from Ginny’s perspective. New chapter will be up shortly. Thanks! - Ann
Ginny is picking up the speed, it is very nice to see her fitting so well in her role. I wonder who the nephew is and what role if any he will play in Ginny's life?
Author's Response: She’s a quick-ish learner :P And only time will tell what men will be present in Ginny’s life. Thanks for the review!!
At twenty-three, the thing Draco Malfoy has been dreading his whole life, bestowed upon him by blood, has finally come and he is NOT ready for it. He feels his dreams slipping through his fingers and decides to try living on his own while he still can. He soon realizes he needs a roommate - but the only person available is the hated Weasley girl, whose life he just ruined...Category: Works in Progress
Interesting but why nobody would hire her? She was never stupid in the books and must have graduated with pretty good NEWTs?
Author's Response: It's incredibly hard to get a job if you have little experience, even at a cafe. Tons of people graduate with good degrees and good grades but can't get a job in their field.
When Draco Malfoy finds Ginny Weasley working at a Muggle strip club, he enlists her help in being his fake girlfriend to get his money back. But can they pull it off without getting their feelings involved?Category: Works in Progress
Soo many questions and no answers as yet. Why does she needs to have two jobs? What extra expenses does she have that need to be covered? Why is she not with Harry anymore?
I am looking forward to next chapter:))
Author's Response: Two jobs is to cover up that she's a stripper. Anyone in the life who is hiding it has a second job, sorry if I didn't make the clear! So glad you like it so far! =)
Private Detective Ginny Weasley makes her living from investigating affairs, but on this case, only one thing is clear: there's more to Draco Malfoy than meets the eye.Category: Long and CompletedFor the DG Forum 2015 Fic Exchange - Winner of Most In Need of a Sequel.
Loved this week for the exchange Thank you for bringing it here, will you be extending it as well?
Author's Response: Thank you so much! No extension in the works at the moment, but I may look at a sequel at some point in future. Never say never. ;)
Someone stole Draco's memories of the time he spent with Ginny years ago, and he's determined to get them back.Category: Works in Progress
Welcome back:) so it was Theo, but why erase Ginny's memories? Draco is right, he could have left just good memories of himslef, or something that would get him in her good graces:)
This is a test. It's only a test. If this were an actual Draco and Ginny fic, you'd see... Draco and Ginny. Even though they kind of showed up anyway. ;) I deleted the test chapter 3, but I couldn't keep the fic from showing up in recently updated anyway!!! So I decided to add a short chapter of explanation as to what it originally was, which was a retest of a rewrite of Chapter 38 of Nineteen Years Later. Yep, in proof that miracles do exist, that fic is being worked on AGAIN. O.oCategory: Works in Progress
Works fine now i think
Author's Response: Thanks! Someone said they were still having problems with an ip address so I wanted to check.
