...to catch the conscience of the Boy Who Lived.Category: Works in Progress
I can't wait to continue reading this! Love the style, and all (:
Valentine's Day brings a surprise, but not the one Ginny was hoping for.Category: Works in Progress
Hello! (:
Ohdear poor Draco and Ginny.. I'm more inclined to side with Draco this time round though, she had no right to do that and then expect him to just understand things from her perspective, when she doesn't make much of an effort to see things from his ): and she's being so impulsive too he always has to pacify her.. Though I guess that's the fiery Ginny we all love (:
On a more general note.. This is an absolutely lovely story! I love reading this and all your other fics (: Thank you so much!
“I know you,” she said softly. “I know that marriage is the last thing on your mind. I don’t want you thinking I’m dying for a sparkling diamond on my finger and happily ever after and all that.”Category: Completed Short Stories
“Don’t you?” he asked simply.
After playing a card game, Draco and Blaise win a pair of tickets onto the MMS Potter, the first wizarding ship to set sail from Britain to Nova Scotia. Draco seeks adventure and ends up finding much more.Category: Works in Progress
Wonderful story, I can't wait for what happens next! And I like how Draco isn't rich, for once. Write on! (: Oh yes, by the way, it should be Mo Shu Xue Xiao, Mo Shu being Magic, and Xue Xiao being school in chinese. No offense meant! :D
Author's Response: Thanks for the review and the correction!
Draco is proud and prejudiced, but he might not be the only one.Category: Works in Progress
Hello! :) I really enjoy this story, it's really interesting to see how P&P fits into the Harry Potter world, and I like how you've managed to make both worlds blend together without removing the key elements from each story :) And I love Draco being Darcy!
Just a tip though, the two lines "yours is to hate everyone", and "yours is to deliberately misunderstand them" from P&P seem to be more lighthearted, said in an arch manner, rather than 'coldly'. Yep :) No offence!
Author's Response: I hear what you're saying, but I'm partially basing my interpretation on the BBC version of the book, which follows Austen religiously, where Lizzie and Darcy are both quite standoffish with each other in that scene. Lizzie is still hurting at his comments from the ball and Darcy is still trying to reconcile the Lizzie he originally automatically rejected and the one he's starting to fall for.
“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”Category: Works in Progress
When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.
Ohno poor Rose! ): I feel very sad for her.. It's not exactly Lily's fault she didn't know bout Rose's feelings, but I think that since Scorpius was the two of them should have been more sensitive bout it to poor Rose!
Besides that.. Just want to say this story's awesome :) gripped by it! Can't wait for the next chapter and the eventual happy ending!! :D
Author's Response: Well thank you! I'm glad you like it so much! I'll have the next chapter out soonish...
Aaah!! Why won't Ginny tell poor Draco ): I teared reading this chapter it's so heartbreaking for both Draco and Harry!! ): I hope they'll all be happy in the end? *hopeful smile*
Oh and I wanted to add, I seldom read D/G offspring fics but you've changed my mind bout them :) Thank you so much!
Author's Response: Your very welcome. I never had any idea that I was going to take the next generation this far, but they just kept clamouring for more screen time, you know? Now I'm very glad I did it, I'm not sure the story would be heading in the direction it is otherwise, and I love the family element. Yes, it is sad for both Draco and Harry but I am now promising that in... *thinks for a moment* in FOUR chapters, you will finally know exactly what Ginny's reason is. I swear it. Just finished writing all the ones in between that and they're being beta-ed but I can't wait to start typing up Ginny's secret because its a pretty bloody good one if I say so myself, ;) Thanks so much for your review! I'll try and update soon!
