And in the darkness bind them.Category: Completed Short Stories
I think the best aspect of this story is that there were millions of places where you could have fallen into tired cliches, but you never did. Not once. and if there was a cliche it still seemed new and fresh, so that it wasn't a commonplace anymore.

This was my favorite story of the fic exchange. But I didn't start reading it till after the voting was over, because I saved the stories for when FIA went down.
But I think this is an amazing story with such a amazing plot.

Very Good!

Only in death do you realize the mistakes you've made in life...and Ginny Weasley must have made a huge one if Draco Malfoy is in her Heaven!Category: Completed Short Stories
sequel
everything
nothing
Author's Response: I wish I could write a sequel! I might. Later. Or make it into a full-length fic. But I really shouldn't be thinking about that because I'm so busy. *sighs* Oh, and terribly sorry for the incredibly late review reply.
“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”Category: Works in Progress
When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.
I'm going to hold off my comments till the end of the story. However I wanted to tell you that I think you are doing a lovely job with this story. I think many DG fans think it is easy for Ginny to drop Harry for Draco but I think you have a wonderful job of portraying the intricacies and difficulties Ginny would face in this situation. I also think that it is great that you have shown that Harry and Ginny have a relationship built on respect and trust- yet sometimes that isn't enough.
Also, I'm glad you chose Lily. I don't know how DG fans can be upset with you because Rose is very much like Ron and Hermione while Lily really is Ginny and Harry's daughter. It is D/G 2.0. It just make sense for them to be together as Lily is brave due to her parents and also more willing to forget prejudices because of them as well. Rose is too stubborn and fearful because of those prejudices instilled on her by her parents. Never doubt your decisions for this story because in my opinion you have always made the right one. Whenever I open this story I am always afraid you will follow the mass hysteria of your reviewers but you always make the logical choice.
One other thing
PLEEEAAAAASSSEEEE!!!!... don't have Draco and Ginny cheat on their respective spouses. I don't think you would, but just in case I would like to add my two cents. They have had their time and what I feel really makes this a DG story is that you are giving them a chance to find closure in a wonderful relationship (and who has never wanted that) not an opportunity to rekindle it. There really is not a world for them to be together anymore and they do have great relationships with their spouses.
Yeah
so I think I've said more than I intended to say... oh well
Fabulously Amazing Job!!!
Author's Response: I cannot tell you how much I appreciated your comments! It was very, very encouraging. I'm especially glad that you share my dislike for destorying either of their marriages just for the sake of D/G. This is intended as a bittersweet story, much as you were saying and I'm glad you've picked up on that. It's still definately DG, but it's more about family and the different kinds of love than anything else. Thank you so much for this review, it really was lovely. I'll reread it whenever I feel blocked on the last few chapters. ;) Thank you and I'm so glad you like the story.
