2nd Place at Pud's D/G Fic Contest! Five years ago, Draco Malfoy was offered sanctuary by his mother’s cousins in India. Now, with the death of his father, the Malfoys need an heir, and Narcissa sets out to find her son a wife through the aid of the far-seeing, fortune-telling Morcant sisters, who decide upon none other than Ginny Weasley. Seeing this offer as a means of escaping the horrible war that has descended upon England, Ginny accepts their proposition, and finds herself in a foreign land engaged to a Draco Malfoy who seems to be a strange mix of the old and the new.Category: Long and Completed
I've only just recently picked up this story but I have found it to be most intriguing! I greatly enjoy how you write in a pseudo-first person/third person story where I, as the reader, am removed from the story but still a part of it.
It's quite brillant. And I love your rationale behind Draco and Ginny getting married. It was excellently explained and elaborated.
Kudos! And keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it. My style is a bit odd, using present tense, third person but I tend to write most of my fics this way; I like the sense of immediacy.
I\'m not sure if it\'s \"brilliant\" but thanks again, very much, for the praise. And thank you also for the lovely review. :-)
