Four years, five months and twenty-three days. Ginny feels the weight of every minute with no regrets because each second has dragged her that much closer to Draco Malfoy.Category: Long and Completed
You know that moment when time stands still and you’re suspended above everything, catching all the angles? And somehow you know this here, this now matters?
Yes.
This was incredible. Your writing is beautiful, moving and wow, the characterisation was brilliant. Ginny and Draco were perfect, their interaction was so realistic, funny and touching at the same time - and I really, really loved Harry. That you managed to make him a sympathetic character rather than a scapegoat, and simply the wrong man for Ginny despite all his good points - and that you didn't have to put him down to exalt Draco really - takes some real skill. (I'm not sure if that makes sense, I've stayed up rather later past my bedtime to finish reading this, but I really, really enjoyed it. Well done.)
COMPLETE! Sequel to The Enemy of Souls. Draco Malfoy has a problem: his life has become unrecognizable. He’s willingly helping a Mudblood. He lives in a Muggle apartment. And he’s constantly forced to make nice with the biggest bunch of blood traitors around. The source of his problems? Ginny Weasley, the witch he’s possibly in love with. Which makes the secret he’s keeping from her his biggest problem of all—because this secret could ruin his relationship with Ginny forever. And he’s not the only one with a secret…Category: Long and Completed
Aaaah I logged in for a reread of some old favourites (The Enemy of Souls being one), imagine my joy when I realised there was a nearly-whole sequel I didn't know about! I was hoping against hope that it was complete but sadly not - I really hope you do get round to writing the last chapter at some point because it really is a shame! (Pretty pretty please...) I've massively enjoyed reading it - your characterisations are always so interesting and you really have a knack for portraying complicated emotions. Neither Draco or Ginny are anywhere near perfect - far from it, but that's why they're so good together as they try and accept, understand, and make up for each others failings. I would love to see how/if they manage to resolve this particular situation - it's not looking too good at the moment! I know it's been a year, but I really hope one day you manage to post the last chapter - I for one would love to read it.
