Category: Long and CompletedRomance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!
Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill award for Best Romance- Non Canon on Mugglenet* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is.*
I read the rest on MuggleNet.com but I thought I'd drop by because I'm free at the mo' and say what a brilliant story you have written.
I adore this chapter, because they're all trying to catch the evil Marisol.
My favourite part would have to be..
the "In Romania" part. I adore Draco when he's stirring up trouble like that.
Once again. Can't wait to re-read the final chapters. =)
Author's Response: Hey, thank you for reviewing here! ^_^ I\'ve felt awful that the other site was updated so much faster than this one, but I\'ll be guilt-free soon! :D Draco is adorable in just about every way, isn\'t he? Thank you for wanting to re-read the chapters. You made my day!
*sigh* You'll have to write more.. and when I say more I mean more besides Dealig with Dragons and Christmas Reunion.
I do hope someone from a publishing company reads this story and realises the potential you have as a writer =D
Author's Response:
Aw, thank you! I do have a Spanish Holiday story in mind. I just have to find time to write it! Easter holidays are much more distracting than Christmas...all that sun and warm weather....:)
I was just reminded once again why I love this story!
It was a beautiful chapter, and I love your references to Shakespeare =)
Author's Response: I was reminded once again why I love your reviews! *hugs* As a R/T writer, I was upset at the end of DH anyway, but to give Draco a receding hairline, scars he's self-conscious about hiding, a nameless wife and a kid named Scorpius...I think Jo, not Percy, is the biggest git in the world, LOL.
I just re read this whole story again.
Merlin, I love, love, LOVE it.
It makes me all warm and giggly inside and hopefully one day I'll have my Draco or Wesley.
I do honestly love both Drakie-Poo and Wesley :D
Voldemort has been defeated and Harry and Draco have become reluctant friends. 'His Girl' features a lovesick Harry, a calm and collected Ron, a Hermione that drools over anything male and Slytherin, and a very sexually frustrated Ginny Weasley. When you throw in an after Quidditch party, an illicit love potion, and a couple of threesomes, you have a Hogwarts like you've never seen before! Book six is completely disregarded.Category: Long and Completed
Ah, a brilliant fic indeed. I love the humour throughout it all, especially at the end when Ron took the key and left with Hermione.
Another favourite part of mine, was when you wrote that Crabbe probably confunded himself. It really crazy and really funny.
Two thumbs up from me =D
In the midst of a very unique Halloween Ball, Draco will forever change the careful, unspoken understanding between himself and Ginny Weasley.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was an enjoyable fic - one of the best short stories I've read in a while. I love the dancing scene, since I can imagine Draco taking dance lessons because of his mother.
I liked how you placed Luna in the middle and how she said ;
“I don’t live for them,” she stated simply. She tilted her head. “Then I might be depressed, I suppose.
I think it was the right time for Ginny to hear that. =D
What happens when a potions explosion coincides with Ginny's annual, self-imposed trip to the infirmary? Sometimes when you don't know who you're talking to, prejudices are laid aside, and you get to know the person behind the family. This is a response to the November challenge of "infirmary" on the FIA forums.Category: Completed Short Stories
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or anything associated with him/them/it. Please don't sue me.
An adorable story. Loved it. Keep up the brilliant work..
Maybe not always happily, and ever isn't guaranteed, but the story of Draco and Ginny definitely continues after the marriage.Category: Works in Progress
hehe, i loved the ending ..and how harry looked "vaguely ill"..
Early Christmas morning, not a Malfoy or Weasley was stirring...except Draco and Ginny, who met for Christmas breakfast and ended up making a meal of Christmas kisses.Category: Completed Short Stories
*A Tale of Two Matchmakers outtake*
I think thats my Christmas Wish for this year. To have a boyfreind that will love me and feed me strawberries.
Loved this outtake *g*
And then, someday, they may recall we were not too young at all. --Nat King ColeCategory: Completed Short Stories
It was a delightful fic to read. I laughed when Draco came to the burrow in his PJ's.
The only thing I'm confused about is whether or not Gin was actually about to go into labor, or if that was something Mrs. Weasley made up, which turned out to be true.
Draco and Ginny find that there are many complications when love blossoms during war.Category: Long and Completed
What a great way for me to start the day - with this fic. It was brilliant and it made me laugh quite a bit at the start. I loved your portrayal of Draco and Ginny :D
Ginny looks forward to her birthday the way other kids count down to Christmas. This year, when she blows out the candles, will her birthday wish come true?Category: Completed Short Stories
I know what I'm going to borrow tomorrow when I go to the video shop *g*
This story made me go all fluffy inside, which was exactly what I wanted. *gives cookies*
Category: Completed Short StoriesWhen detention ruins his plan to take Ginny to Paris via the Room of Requirement, Draco brings Paris to Ginny, with the help of a house-elf named Slinky.
*A 'missing moment' story inspired by A Tale of Two Matchmakers.*
Category: Long and Completed"Flying with my girl leaning back against me, both of us glad to be alive and together, I really didn’t care what her big brother said. Of course, most people thought I didn't care what anybody said, but that wasn't true. I merely declined to disabuse the ignorant of their false beliefs. I was a Malfoy, after all. There was the family image to uphold. Apart from that, if word got round that I wasn’t the cold-hearted bastard people thought I was, I’d be forced to wizard duel every day at school. Frankly, I had better uses for my time, like snogging Ginny."
In Romania, Draco finds that dealing with dragons is less complicated than dealing with Ginny's family.
*sigh*
I hate stories ending, but every fairytale has to end, right? Happily ever after, of course.
I adored this one shot.
Category: Long and CompletedSeven years later....
Blaise fears Terry wants a divorce, Luna is hiding a secret from Wesley, and Draco is tired of idiots saying his son has pink hair! Ginny's solution? Call the curls reddish blond and invite their friends to the Malfoy mansion for Christmas.
This story cannot end here! I want to read more about Pink-Haired babies.
I do hope you write another story, possibly a long one this time about the next generation (Drake's generation) because I LOVE your writing.
Awww Wesley is so adorable. =D
Author's Response: Yay for you wanting to read about Pin-Haired babies! I love the way you love the story and characters. It's wonderfully inspiring! ^_~
*g* You're a true D/G fan if you know about PHB. And I just laughed at the revisits to the main story.
But what got me laughing the most, although I'm sure he meant it to be romantic was Terry saying "No. We're pregnant." .. The image of Terry being pregnant cracked me up :P
Non-connected drabbles from varied D/G prompts, which aren't long enough to post separately.Category: Completed Short Stories
Nice writing :D
My favourite was the Rain drabble and the jealousy one. It seems Draco rarely outwits Ginny ;)
Category: Completed Short StoriesIt takes a thief to catch a thief, but when Auror Ginny Weasley goes beyond the call of duty to catch Draco Malfoy red-handed, he catches her off guard, professionally and romantically.
haha, I just had to read it again :D
Scrimgeour is ebil. I've never liked him, and I never will.
Brilliantly written.
Author's Response:
Even if I didn't have a mug of hot chocolate, I'd feel warm fuzzies, because you are so sweet! ^_^
D/G cliche love.Category: Essays
Very funny. I have to say that I've read everyone of those cliche's at least twice. My favourite, however is the "She could have been in Slytherin" but then again, that's unlikely, since any Weasley would never be in Slytherin, unless they had Draco for a father..
Ginny finds out that Draco wants to talk, he's just never had anyone there to listen.Category: Works in Progress
I love this chapter. Very cute.. Hope you continue it.
Author's Response: :D Thanks.
Lucius lived in terror that one day Narcissa would come to her senses, would stop coming to visit him and instead move on with her life, leaving him with nothing.Category: Completed Short Stories
I think I the part I enjoyed the most, was when you brought out Ginny's Slytherin side. There was one part that confused me however:
'He'd have expected her to have her faltering steps led by her brother, the Minister, or heroic Potter, or even his own son.'
When you said 'led by her brother, the Minsiter' did you mean Percy (I presume, you mentioned him later) is the minister? I think I get it, but I just want to get that part clear.
Overall, it was an enjoyable one shot
*DH SPOILERS* Consider yourself warned.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is my attempt to correct some of the wrongs...
Now this is the right ending to the book. It's a pity the publishers got it all wrong.
I love it how you made it a dream, since I feel a lot better now, knowing that Draco does not have a receeding hairline and that they don't have a kid called Scopius.
Author's Response: I had to fix things for Draco before he had a fit!!
What really happened in the DH Epilogue of Doom. Poor, poor Harry, so very clueless...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter SIXTY-NINE quote of the day:
Ginny scowled at him. “You don’t know me very well.”
Draco shook his head, his eyes more sorrowful than ever. “No. I don’t. Eternity wouldn’t be long enough for that.”
“Why do I feel as if we’ve suddenly wandered into the set of a men’s cologne commercial?” complained Lucifer.
“Can’t you keep your damn mouth shut, Lucifer?” spat Draco.
“Please… really… I don’t think you should talk to him that way,” whispered Ginny.
*Cries from the fluff*
It's so sad, yet.. beautiful at the same time.
Stupid litlle [insert bad words here] Scarhead. Wonderful job Anise :D
Playboy Auror, Draco Malfoy, collects women like some people collect stamps, until an unforunate incident with one woman. Turned virtual recluse, Draco is only lured back into the social world when his partner steps in and sets him up.Category: Long and Completed
Yay!
What a fantastic start to the story. I can't believe I've never read this before, but then I only read completed fics, so *ponders*
I love how Draco and Harry get on already, because its nice when there are no cliche fights between "mortal enemies" to start a story *g*
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope you enjoy the rest :) It's a bit hard for them to be mortal enemies when they have to rely on each other as partners ;)
*snickers*
That was by far one of the funniest chapters I've read in a long time. So prim and proper, no matter what he does.
*g*
That stalker woman makes me angry.
Author's Response: Thanks! There are some things Draco likes to keep private ;) The stalker woman serves her purpose, so we can't be too hard on her ;)
