Ginny has finally been allowed to join the Order. But is it too high a price? Her mission: Baby sit the one and only Draco Malfoy.Category: Works in Progress
It's a good start - you've got a plausible reason for them both to in school the year after HBP. Can't wait to see where you go with it.
Author's Response: Thanks so much. You taking the time to review my fic means alot. I hope I come through with a great fic.
A series of vignettes in which Ginny and Draco discover what they mean to each other.Category: Completed Short Stories
*swoon* That was so good! Just enough vinegar in their interactions that the utter sweetness didn't get cloying, and each segment was exactly as long as it needed to be to tell the story. Love it! :D
Some stories don't have an end. Just a new beginning.Category: Completed Short Stories
*swoon* Oh, that was just delicious. Thank you for writing it. :D
It is a widespread notion that fan fiction is much easier to write than “normal” fiction. That is simply not true…and here’s why.Category: Essays
I think you put it quite well. :)
Ginny deals with the loss of lovers and the complications of a new relationship with Draco. But, will her love for Draco be stronger than the love that she had for a certain someone before he died? Told in Ginny's point of view.Category: Works in Progress
So... That's it? Ginny never loved Draco, and so it's all H/G all the way? Sure, she was with him, but she's willing to just throw away his life for Harry's, which means she didn't really, ultimately, give a damn about him. How... incredibly selfish and terrible of Ginny.
Author's Response: I\'m sorry that I had to leave this story on such a bad note. There is meant to be another chapter. I just haven\'t gotten around to writing it yet. Maybe once it\'s up you\'ll have a different understanding of it. thanks for the review.
Draco Malfoy fancies himself a connoisseur of fine wine and fine women, but a string of encounters with Ginny Weasley teaches him that he still has something to learn about both.Category: Long and Completed
Poor Draco. Drunk and he doesn't even know it yet.
Author's Response: Yes, yes, he is. And unfortunately it is going to take him quite a while (and quite a bit of wine) to come to his senses.
Draco's loafing gets him demoted into Ginny's department, whereupon he takes it upon himself to revive her flagging romantic life. As one might expect, his efforts produce the most unexpected results.Category: Works in Progress
Oh, dear. I don't think there's anything quite as terrifying as Draco being altruistic.
*Completely AU* In a world where Voldemort was never defeated, only a few things matter: pureblood, money and power. All that Ginny Weasley wanted was to survive her 7 years at Hogwarts, a school where the children of the richest and most powerful wizards dominate over others. Denying her natural instincts, she managed to make it into her 6th year without offending any of the cruel and powerful Slytherins - especially that horrible Draco Malfoy. Until one day, she crosses a line, and her peaceful existence is shattered forever. A story filled with adolescent drama, clash of the classes, angst, jealousy, ridiculous pride and love triangles (and squares).Category: Works in Progress
Hee! I totally hadn't made the connection between your lj name and here. Having seen the series, and I'll be chatting with you about it as soon as I've got the laptop fixed and have some computer time, I'm curious to see how you'll shift some things around. :D
Author's Response: Sweet!
I\'m definitely going to be dealing with a few things differently, particularly some of the aspects of the plot that really annoyed me - and especially the ending, because, OMG, the cheesiness almost killed me.
When Ginny Weasley becomes Draco Malfoy's wife, he suspects neither her true identity nor her dangerous motives. But when all Hell breaks lose and their relationship takes unexpected turns, there is more at stake than preserving their marriage--namely, preserving their lives.Category: Long and Completed
I love the way you're writing this story - showing both Draco and Ginny's growing affection for each other and conflict because of it. I'm eagerly looking forward to finding out what happens next. :)
Author's Response: Thank you :) Hopefully the next chapter will meet your expectations, though their growing affection is going to take a succession of little blows... Cheers!
My longshot hope that they can find some sort of happiness eventually is restored by the fact that she finally said out loud to him what her problem is, and he actually tried to talk to her about it. They've still got a ways to go, but they can make it! *crosses fingers*
I always feel like I've run a marathon after one of your chapters - so much emotion! It's exhausting. But exhausting in a good way, and I'm so very, very glad that Ginny seems to be waking up to be concerned about more than just herself, and that Draco's realizing just what matters to him.
Do you think Ginny realizes that by naming one son Aurelian, he's sort of named after Lucius? That one wouldn't go over well.
Squee, though! They're coming to terms, slowly but surely, and Ginny has a niece! Nieces are awesome.
At the age of five, Draco Malfoy learned just how easy it was to get what he wanted. He never had much trouble in acquiring his desires until the one thing he desired was Ginny Weasley.Category: Long and Completed
I really do love how Ginny's playing the angles here. It's so refreshing to have her being the master manipulator, as opposed to the helplessly seduced.
Narcissa Malfoy wants Draco married off-- and quickly! So, she chooses to send him to a date coach of sorts. What Narcissa wants, Narcissa gets! *Fun, fluff!*Category: Long and Completed
Fluffy fun, indeed. :) I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Author's Response: Always glad and proud to get a review from the site-mommy! I hope I do not disappoint. :)
*COMPLETE* Destiny knew better than to bring these two together. One man, determined to draw back an errant Malfoy, is not so wise, and Ginny soon finds herself caught up in events that are not quite Fate.Category: Long and Completed
Great chapter, but what I found most interesting was Nott's line, "you’re as trapped as the rest of us.” So he's feeling trapped? Is the game he's playing with Ginny because he wants to get out and sees her as a tool? I can't wait to find out!
Author's Response: Kudos to Mynuet! I was wondering if anyone would catch that line. As for your guess...well, I suppose only time will tell!
Poor Draco. There's a reason that solitary confinement is an extra punishment for those already in jail. :(
Holy crap! I can't believe Pierce is dead! Maybe he had a spare wand up his sleeve, but just faked his death to get away. *clings to thought* And McG... I understand her motivations, but still - *shakes a fist* Also - boy, is Harry ever going to get a surprise! :D
Six single people are coerced into filling out a form that searches for one's perfect mate. What if the outcome isn't to their liking... at first? This is my take on LOTM's YLC Challenge over at WIKTT.Category: Long and Completed
*Couples include Draco/Ginny, Severus/Hermione, Greg/Luna*
**Runner up for round six of the Endurance catagory on the Multifaceted FanFiction Awards** http://multifaceted.creative-musings.com/winners06.htm
I'm really enjoying this story - the combination of the three couples is handled really well, and I like how each is at a different stage of (denial) progression. And thank goodness that they finally had it out with Ron and Harry (stabnation! Assholes.) I could get to like their wives, I think.
Author's Response: Thanks so much Mynuet! I am so happy you like it! This was my first attempt at focusing on more than one major couple and it\'s hard trying to balance them all, but very fun making the different stages! Yes, I agree that Ron and Harry needed to be told--wankers!
PS - Feel free to add a paragraph to your next update along the lines of, "Mynuet, the site's owner, has officially declared this story has more than enough D/G to be archived here, and so any complaints about it not qualifying can be taken up with her." It's a friendly oligarchic dictatorship around here, and I'm HBIC. ;)
Author's Response: Thanks so mucy Mynuet--I believe I will! **Claps and whistles for the HBIC!** ;-)
*Completed* Draco spent his childhood being frozen out by everyone. By his father, by his mother, by everyone in his life. So now he freezes everyone else. It's cold, but it's safe.Category: Long and Completed
A girl with flaming hair and a fiery soul can save him, but only if he'll let her.
Poor Draco. He's found himself in a situation he's totally unequipped to deal with, and that's always hard. And poor Ginny, having to figure out what she feels and where she stands at an age where normally the toughest decision involves how to wear your hair. ...I don't feel bad for Harry, though. :P
Author's Response: Ah, thank you so much for the thoughtful review. Draco is unequipped. We can only hope that he can equip himself fast enough! And Ginny, well, she\'s in a tough place. Or rather, she\'s put herself in a tough place. After all, as her conscience said: It\'s your choice. No, no one ever feels bad for Harry. Me either, actually. :P

Draco and Pansy like to play games. What happens when a Polyjuice Plan goes wrong?Category: Works in Progress
Oh dearie dearie me. This does not bode well.
Author's Response: A pissed off, plotting Malfoy is half of the fun.
I fixed the rating instead of deleting the fic. Next time, be more careful.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for not deleting the fic. I will be more careful from now on. I\'ll go review the ratings system right now.
When Ginny Weasley travels to Vancouver to do research for the Department of Mysteries, she learns much more than she ever expected about life, love, and Draco Malfoy.Category: Completed Short Stories
*sigh* I really do love this story.
Author's Response:
Thank you! I'm happy that I can provide the occasional happy sigh. :)
Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
It must really be true and abiding love for Draco not to taunt Hermione. ;)
Still loving this fic forever, yay.
Author's Response: It must be :-) Thank you so much! I'm happy you're enjoying it!
Musical tranquillity helps her to move on from her past, and grow in the present in its enigmatic eloquence of language, uttered by the strings beneath her fingers. It allows her to feel, to be confident, to observe and it also attracts the forbidden.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oooh! I'd loved this when I first read it, eons ago, but I could never find it again. Thanks for posting it here. :D
