When a certain ancient beat penetrates the hearts and bodies of two long-time rivals, it always spurs the growth of something much more lethal than their hatred.Category: Completed Short Stories
Tres sexy! I also took the liberty of fixing your paragraph breaks - if you use any codes for line breaks at all, then you need to use them for every paragraph. You had a p and a br in your header, so I just deleted them and it restored your linebreaks.

Ginny is ready to kill whoever put magical mistletoe all over the castle. Draco finds the situation rather amusing.Category: Long and Completed
This story's really cute - I hope to read more soon!
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'ll update asap.
Neville/Pansy!!!!1! I officially love you.
Author's Response: Thank you site Mommy! That is high praise coming from you.
I love it! Manipulative Ginny, all the way. I think this story is over, but there's definitely room for a sequel, given that the future as a whole isn't resolved, and there'll be a big conflict when they leave Hogwarts and have to decide what to do, particularly since Draco leaves a year before she does.
Author's Response: Thank you. I agree, this story is finished. I did send an epilogue off to my beta to tie up a few loose ends. I will start a sequel once I plot out the timeline. Thanks again. : )

I'm really enjoying this story a lot, and I'm glad you're updating so frequently. Although this chapter had a lot of exposition, it flowed well and kept the story moving, which is a definite sign of good writing. Hope to see more soon! :)
Author's Response: *dies happily.*
As said elsewhere, I love it. :D I think Ginny's finally seeing Harry as he really is... Gee, I wonder who's responsible for her clear-headedness? As opposed to Draco - where his head is, I won't speculate, other than to say I think it's very dark due to the lack of any sunshine.
Author's Response: Haha. Thank you for the lovely review. And yes... the Harry/Ginny mess must be wound down before anything else - responsible for enlightenment or not can be wound up. Of course, the enlightener would also be well served to remove himself from this dark abyss you speak of.

A couple of these are H/D instead of D/G, and several seem to be directly ripped off from "Things I'm not allowed to do at Hogwarts". Please go back and edit to a) be D/G and b) give explicit credit or take out anything you didn't write.
On a personal note, you might want to remember that not all of your potential audience are Bush-hating Democrats.

I'm really looking forward to more of this one - you've built up the suspense well, and starting from canon as you did makes for the perfect AU. Excellent start! *sends the inspiration fairy your way*
Author's Response: What a lovely review... thanks! Oh, and the inspiration fairy was much appreciated as well! :)

*swoon* I loved this! They were both so sneaky and duplicitous, they're perfect for each other. :D
Author's Response: Thank you! Duplicitous, I love that word. I\'ll have to use that somewhere. :)
Draco spends a miserable Christmas without Ginny.Category: Completed Short Stories
Awww, poor Draco. So utterly miserable because of his utter cluelessness. Yay for Narcissa kicking his butt into gear! And yay for you for writing a cute and happy story!
Author's Response: Narcissa has been growing on me lately. She really is perfect for showing Draco what\'s what. I\'m very glad you enjoyed the story! Thanks for the review!
A post-HBP Christmas fic. Christmas is a time for new beginnings and whether the gift is great or small, sometimes it is enough to change the course of a life.Category: Completed Short Stories
*happy sigh*
Author's Response: *grins*
Post-Hogwarts. Ginny makes a mistake that costs her her Christmas traditions with Draco. A response to the "Holiday Miracle" drabble that went long.Category: Completed Short Stories
This is really cute and fun! I like how your Draco fits the way I think he would act - selfish, possessive, violent if he thinks the occasion calls for it, but still honest and loving. :D
Ginny and Draco are assigned to be partners in a cooking class. When they spill a pan full of chocolate cake batter, interesting things ensue.Category: Long and Completed
It's not a bad ending, but it seemed really abrupt. I had to go back and try to figure out if I'd missed a chapter, because the last one didn't lead into what happened.
Author's Response: I reread it, and decided that you were right. I went back and added a phrase to the opening sentence that will hopefully take care of that.
Draco’s wanted Ginny for a long time. A stolen kiss tips him over the edge into making Ginny an offer, an offer she really should have refused.Category: Completed Short Stories
You wrote! *GLEE* And it was HOT! Oh, Ginny, baby, you just made a really big mistake by not fully fulfilling a signed contract.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the squee. I\'m planning to enter Pud\'s latest contest. I\'ve got the plot - all I need is to sit down and write. Perhaps the block has finally broken. (helps I\'m feeling better)
Draco experiences the utter horrors of...Valentine's Day. Unfortunately for him, not everyone has such an aversion to it. Oh yes, there will be pink...Category: Completed Short Stories

Oh, dear. Groveling is just the very beginning, boys.
Lucius had better watch out, or he'll end up getting the same as Flint and Nott. Go, Draco! (Psst - and cut your hair, baby, you want to de-emphasize the resemblance to your dad, 'k?)
Author's Response: LOL Mynuet! ;-) In chapter 10, I am going to go some into Lucius background and it will explain some of his behavior. Perhaps he can heal too in this fic! Yeah, Draco needs a haircut, or to stop tying his back!
Even though Ginny knows it's an abomination of everything she stands for, everything she fights for, she is unable to stay away from him. Living in fear of being discovered only adds to the excitement of their trysts, but does her inability to put a stop to the sordid affair have the potential to change so much more?Category: Long and Completed
OMG! I smell breakout! :D
Author's Response: You might be surprised ;P
Let me put it another way - if you don't write more, which involves him somehow not rotting away in Azkaban, then in my mind this matches up with a "Ginny breaks Draco out of jail and they run away" scenario that I wrote long ago. ;)
Author's Response: It is entirely written, so don't fear, you will have your answer in the next couple of days. Do you really have to ask yourself if I'd let Draco rot away in Azkaban? As I said before, you might be surprised. There will be breaking, but the question is what type ;P
Yay, happy ending. Or possibly not, depending on what happens with the court. Hmmm, do I smell sequel?
Author's Response: Possibly... I rather like the way I finished it (leaving it to the imagination a bit), but it's still open enough if I get the urge ;)
*happy sigh* This was so heartbreaking, but the ending more than makes up for it.
Author's Response: Thanks *passes you a tissue* I had to make them happy again *g*
A rumor about Draco Malfoy is going around Hogwarts and Ginny must discover if there is truth to it. (Formerly titled, Ginny Weasley and the Slytherin's Trouser Snake.)Category: Completed Short Stories
Hee! I love how clueless Ginny is, and the hints we see of a Draco who really isn't as sure of himself as the fangirls think he is.

Even if evil is not in your memories, it's in your blood. *Contains very dark themes*Category: Completed Short Stories
I read this when you first posted it, meant to go back and review it, and ended up keeping the tab open for days so that I wouldn't forget.
I think what stuck with me about this fic is Draco's total willingness to do what needs to be done, even though it makes him feel awful. It plays right into my ideas about the inherent pragmatism of the Slytherin mindset - and it meshes well with the damn-the-consequences joy of Ginny's more Gryffindoric attitude, bringing new life into a difficult world.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review (and remembering to come back to do it!), Myn.
I completely agree about Slytherin pragmatism- when I wrote this, it felt like an interesting aspect of Draco\'s character to address, rather than go my normal route of his undying love for Ginny. I wanted to show that they\'re compatible on more than one level, and I\'m so glad that came across. Thanks again! :)
