Hi all! This was my very first D/G and I've decided to leave it over at fanficiton.net for now. It's complete there, if not perfectly beta'ed. Search for sweetproserpina
Using the lyrics from Les Miserables songs, this story winds its way through the Wizarding War and Draco's excruciating choice between love and friendship. A story about idealists with the wrong ideal. Warnings for language.Category: Works in Progress
I'm leaving the rest of this over at fanfiction.net - just search for sweetproserpina
By the way, it is complete over at ff.net
War never leaves anyone unchanged.Category: Long and Completed
I haven't read this fic for a long time but I'm glad that I reread it tonight. It's such a lovely sweet story. It makes me smile and laugh out loud sometimes. Thank you for writing such a great story -

*Winner of the Draco/Ginny Fanfiction Award for Best Novel Length Story.* "Perhaps not everything is as black and white as it appears. Perhaps, even my father was tangled in a web of his own emotions, and in the end it spelled his death. Perhaps I too will share his fate, dying not for the cause I believe in, but for that which I cannot foresee." The ever weaving threads of our own decisions can lead to irrevocable knots, and when Lucius Malfoy is destroyed by unexpected forces, his son, Draco, is thrown into a world of political intrigue, insatiable passion and desperate gambits, opening doors he never thought to look for, and creating a life he never thought he would have as his own.Category: Long and Completed
Oh, oh! This is wonderful. I love the characterization in this story, it's so different from most, but very beleivable. Draco's character is especially well drawn, I can't wait to see how he develops and how Harry treats Ginny, and visa versa in the upcoming chapter. Please keep up the wonderful writing.
cheers, sweetp
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I worked hard on trying to keep Draco in character.
Nobody wins in war. Draco and Ginny build a funeral pyre for their generation, in a nonsensical story of lost love and lost minds full of flames and sky.Category: Completed Short Stories
So, so good. Beautiful and horrible and true. Thanks for the great read.
Six hours into the closing of the school term, Draco Malfoy is found unconscious in Ginny Weasley's room in the Burrow. As old sins and new horrors reveal themselves, the bloodiest June of the Second War begins. D/G/HCategory: Works in Progress
Really interesting story so far!
Ginny, Harry, and Draco have been leading separate lives for years, but then a disturbing case involving mind manipulation brings them all together. Rows break out, animosity and hatred grow, people die, and friendship is tested. In the midst of all that, is it possible for romance between two unlikely people to bloom?Category: Works in Progress
A thoroughly enjoyable story! I really like how you've portrayed Draco, Gin, and Harry. Can't wait for the update.
Great job!

Nice job- dark and hopeless, poor Draco.. Looking forward to reading more of your work.
When Ginny Weasley travels to Vancouver to do research for the Department of Mysteries, she learns much more than she ever expected about life, love, and Draco Malfoy.Category: Completed Short Stories
Great Job, it was really fun reading this one! Especially since I worked at the Museum of Anthro. for three years! Lol! And to think I only thought the basement had a few classrooms, textile storage, conservation lab, and an obsidian knapping pit. Although there is a really creepy long hallway down there.. maybe it leads to the Magical Department?! And golly, Draco Malfoy in Vancouver all this time - *swoon* I can't believe Ginny got to him before me...hehe
One little thing - I know you are not an expert on West Coast First Nations art - bears and otters are commonly used, doves not really at all. Raven is the most commonly used bird, and is prevalent among most groups' art - though he is known as the 'trickster' =;-) It didn't take away from your story though, and is only a nitpicky thing.
Cheers- sweetproserpina
Author's Response:
Oh, wow! A review from an expert! How wonderful! I'm afraid it has been long enough since I wrote the story that I don't remember the reasons for all the decisions I made about the First Nations art, so I'm not sure where I got the dove imagery, but I'm pretty sure I found at least one site on the internet that mentioned it. Maybe. I hope. Of course, not all sites on the internet are worth much, so it might have been wrong. Don't worry at all about the nitpicking! It is something I would do (actually, that I have done to some stories!).
I'm glad to be the one to tell you about the magical department. Of course, part of me wonders why you didn't recognize it earlier! Good luck with your career in anthro or whatever you choose!
"Perhaps it really didn't matter what he was, perhaps it just mattered that he was." Unexpected events lead to unexpected relationships. Can one person be so important to the destruction of Voldemort? Nothing happens by chance, but sometimes, life might be simpler if it did.Category: Works in Progress
Great story. Keep it up! I love the D/G dynamic you've built up.
Author's Response: THank you for the review!

Their lives will intertwine with two higher level demons who are oath bound to protect their daughters. So interesting. I wasn't sure at first ,but I'm really intrigued by this story. I look forward to reading more!
Oh, I'm so glad you mentioned you post over on ff.net. I'm going to go over and check it out there. I often get rejected too, my punctuation is perilous, and I end up having to get it beta'd lots. I post more stuff over at ff.net too!
Can't wait to read more, this story is so unique.

Ginny is twenty four, and the war rages on. Draco is a Death Eater, and he needs her help. Of course, he doesn't give her a choice. Now she's surrounded by the enemy. She begins to see that not everything is black and white. Can she come to terms with her new role in his life?Category: Works in Progress
Excellent, I really like this story, it's very interesting - I never know exactly what will happen next. Draco is very believeable; good and bad..
Looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m trying to keep you guessing.
Another great chapter. I am enjoying this story so much. Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you. : )
Another great chapter and a superb ending - cliffhanger! I really like the depth of character you're building into Draco. It's so interesting that you've showed us how insular and protected Ginny's world is, we - like her- have no clue as to what is really going on in the outside world. You've created a bubble for the reader. I'm interested to know if we'll find out what's really been going on first hand.
Can't wait for the next chapter.
Cheers, - sweetproserina
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m trying to keep the gory details to a minimum. I like being in the bubble too.

I come here, before you, the Order of the Phoenix, not to beg forgiveness, as many of you think I should. But rather, I come with a warning: they know where you are and what you intend to do. They have made their mission to stop you, to kill you, and to rule the world as they see fit. I see you now, murmuring about yourselves, presumably asking if I, with a Dark Mark burned into my arm, can be trusted. If I were you, I doubt I would trust me either.Category: Completed Short Stories
Good job. I really liked the quote too!
Author's Response: Hey! I\'ve seen you over on the fic exchange! Thanks for reading and reviewing :-)
Draco finds himself spending obscene amounts of time with Ginny Weasley, thanks to Blaise and his love for drama and hatred of boredom.Category: Works in Progress
Oh my goodness, that was hilarious! Best line ever from Draco:
“Is it such a crime for two gloriously sexy people to spend time together? Just look at how nice we make everything around us look.”
Great job!
Fantastic end to the chapter - totally unexpected! I love this story, I'm so glad I started reading it :)
Author's Response: Thank you. :) I\'m glad you started reading it too!
