"Go!" he shouted. "No matter what happens, don't look back. I'll come for you, I swear it..."Category: Completed Short Stories
Okay, I'm an idiot. I didn't realize until after I left that last review that there was a second chapter. The story is more satisfying as a whole than just the first chapter was alone (surprise, surprise!), but I still don't think it will be one of my favorites. Though I do like the bits from the unnamed Auror's point of view--that helps give a fresh perspective. And some of the little details (like Draco forgetting how cold England can be) give the story life. Once again, thanks for posting!
"Perhaps it really didn't matter what he was, perhaps it just mattered that he was." Unexpected events lead to unexpected relationships. Can one person be so important to the destruction of Voldemort? Nothing happens by chance, but sometimes, life might be simpler if it did.Category: Works in Progress
The battle between Draco and Ginny in this chapter seems really fitting--not only do they need a catalyst to finally get everything out in the open, but Draco needs to prove that he won't react to Ginny the way Harry does. You did a really good job with it! Thanks for the update.
Author's Response: Thank you for the review!
Even if he only got a glimpse of her flame-coloured hair around a corner, it was enough. Enough to keep him breathing. Alive.Category: Works in Progress
Disclaimer: Harry Potter and all of the characters in his world are the property of J.K. Rowling and multiple movie companies and publishing houses. They get all of the money, I only get the pleasure of *breathy sigh* using Draco.
I just started reading this story, and it is quite enjoyable. I like your Draco--his self-pity is very funny. I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out!
Author's Response: Self pity (in others) is amusing... to a point. You\'ll have to let me know if it gets annoying. Thanks for the review!
Oh, how sweet! I like a sleepy, lusty, confused Draco, too. :) I can't wait to see how both of them react when they wake up in the morning. Thanks for the update!
I love Draco and Ginny's conversation. You certainly have a talent for writing their banter. Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I like dialogue. Comes from writing plays for so long!
Draco's speech is very sweet. My favorite part of the chapter, however, was the bit from McGonagall's POV. Her changing reactions to Ginny and Draco were awesome. Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: You're welcome! I love Minerva... (my beta and I argue about what kind of biscuits she should serve), she makes another appearance in a couple of chapters. Thanks for the review!
Poor, whipped Draco. What else will he have to endure for Ginny's sake? A very evil part of me hopes quite a lot! Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to finding out what will happen with the trio and with the potion.
Hee hee! The testosterone fest was hilarious. I wish Harry would stop being so annoying, though. He's distracting me from the D/G! Thanks for the update!
You're right that not a whole lot actually happens in this chapter, but I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. Draco was mellow and sweet and totally endearing, and he stole the whole scene (though I did love Ginny's response to Harry too!). Thanks for the update!
Draco is such an idiot! Actually, Ginny is an idiot too! Why didn't you name the story "Idiots, Idiots, and More Idiots"? Gah! *Shakes head* I guess if they weren't quite so idiotic, the story would be boring, right? I'll just have to keep that in mind when I am tempted to throtle them both. Anyway, thanks for the update. I think. :)
That turned out much better than it could have! It's a good thing Ginny has some sense--she certainly needs to make up for what Draco is lacking! Thanks for the update! I am very much looking forward to the next chapter (especially considering the title!).
How would things be different if Draco had accepted Dumbledore's mercy at the end of book six? Follow the canon characters as they are forced into company with Draco and struggle to survive in a warring wizarding world. And yes, there will be romance.Category: Works in Progress
I like how you have dealt with both Harry's and Draco's struggles in this chapter. The scene where Harry returned to Gryffindor was particularly poignant, I thought. I'm looking forward to reading more. Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Your very welcome. Thank you for the review! :)
This is an interesting premise. I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it!
Author's Response: I hope you like where I go with it! Haha.
Ginny is a spy for The Order. Can she accomplish her mission, or will Draco trap her in a prison of her own making?Category: Completed Short Stories
I like the way that both Draco and Ginny manage to control each other to a certain extent, even though Draco doesn't really understand the extent of Ginny's control. Thanks for the story!
Author's Response: Thank you. I like to think of them both manipulating each other. Of course, Ginny has to win in the end.
What happens when a potions explosion coincides with Ginny's annual, self-imposed trip to the infirmary? Sometimes when you don't know who you're talking to, prejudices are laid aside, and you get to know the person behind the family. This is a response to the November challenge of "infirmary" on the FIA forums.Category: Completed Short Stories

This is a lovely story. I paticularly enjoyed the scene when Draco was trying to guess Ginny's identity--the dialogue was very nicely done. I also like that they didn't throw themselves into each other's arms at the end--the ending is clearly a beginning, and I have to use my imagination to figure out what will happen next. Thanks for posting!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I appreciate the review.
After eight years in France, Ginny finds herself a stranger in her own family. When she returns to Britain, she goes to work as a barrister. And that was how she ended up defending Draco Malfoy against accusations that he murdered Harry Potter.Category: Works in Progress
This looks like a promising start. I like your characterization of Ginny already--she seems like a very practical, down-to-earth woman. I'm looking forward to finding out what happened in the war and what will happen next. Thanks for posting!
I love Ginny and Draco's reactions to each other in this chapter. It seems like their past is still with them, but that they are both willing to set it aside, at least provisionally. This sets up all sorts of possibilities for their relationship to develop. I am very much looking forward to seeing how that happens, what evidence the Prophet seems to have, and how the whole thing plays out. I am even more excited about this story than I was after the first chapter. Thank you very much for the update!
This story continues to get more interesting. Draco's "alibi" is fascinating, and I'm sure Lucius will pop up at some point to complicate things further. I also like Ginny's attitude toward Draco, and Arthur's attitude toward both Ginny and Draco. Thanks for the update!
A bout of hot sex is the perfect way to add excitement to an otherwise dull Ministry gala. Sometimes, two people keep getting thrown together, regardless of their feelings and pasts.Category: Completed Short Stories
I thought this was rather well done, especially for a first attempt. I liked how realizing who the other person was helped increase the intensity. Thanks for posting!
Author's Response: *hugs* I wasn\'t sure I carried off how their identities affected each other, so I\'m really glad you brought that up.
When one life ends, another begins.Category: Completed Short Stories
I really enjoyed this story, partly because it left me with more questions than it answered. Just why did Draco, and then Ginny, leave the wizarding world? What was their past relationship like? What's going to happen in the future? Now I get to imagine the answers to all of them. Thanks for posting!
Author's Response: wow, thanks! I really appreciate your thoughts ^_^
If Pansy Parkinson says she's your friend, don't trust her. If she invites you over, don't go. You might wake up hung over, in only your underwear, and in Malfoy's or Zabini's bed.Category: Completed Short Stories
Let's you and I fall all over one another and see how we land, ay?
What an excellent approach to a relationship!
I love Pansy's conniving, and Draco and Blaise's willingness to take the opportunity she offered them, not to mention Ginny's reaction to waking up with Draco. Hee. Thank you very much for this story!
A silly drabble about what would inevitably happen if Harry and Ginny ever got (God forbid) married. Anyone expecting intricate plotting or vast character development will be disappointed, but leather pants are involved, however tangentially.Category: Completed Short Stories
Hee hee! You certainly can take a little idea and blow it up completely until it is a humongous ball of sarcasm and humor. Thanks for posting!
A post-HBP Christmas fic. Christmas is a time for new beginnings and whether the gift is great or small, sometimes it is enough to change the course of a life.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh, this is absolutely lovely. I particularly like Snape's crotchetiness ("It's about bloody time," Snape growled as he slammed into the room. "I've been sitting out there for hours now, waiting for you to have the decency to do what any starving, homesick boy should have done days ago- cry. Blast it all, Draco, must you do everything the hard way?"). I also loved Draco's wistfulness for Christmases past. Thank you very much for sharing this!
Author's Response: Grouchy Snape warms my heart- he has raised gloom and snide comments to an art form. In fact, I am particularly proud of the line you quoted; it may be my favorite one in the whole fic. Glad you liked it!
A daughter reflects on family traditions, and what she really wants to wish for. A Christmas drabble series from my "Paper Owl" universe.Category: Completed Short Stories
That almost made me cry. If it had been any longer, it probably would have. It's so bittersweet! And you certainly had me convinced that... well, I won't say in case someone reads the review before the story. Anyway, this was extremely well done, and I will stop babbling now. Thanks very much for posting it!
Author's Response: I\'d originally set out to make a cute fluffy one-shot, but it turned sad somehow. Well, at least it had a happy ending! Thanks for reading.
Post-Hogwarts. Ginny makes a mistake that costs her her Christmas traditions with Draco. A response to the "Holiday Miracle" drabble that went long.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was very cute! I particularly liked the twist on the tradition, and Draco's treatment of Oliver (I love a possessive and jealous Draco!). Thanks for posting!
