I'm a 29 year old lass from Calamba City, Philippines... and I've been a D/G shipper ever since i read MochaButterfly's Wrongfully Accused fic in 2001... and have never left the fandom since then!
Mostly I do beta-reading jobs for such authors like MochaButterfly, Reiko Naoi, where_is_truth, burgos damasco and singtoangels just to name a few... and have written 2 D/G fics at the moment (one of them is still a WIP w/c i will eventually continue very soon!) but nowadays I'm more into reading LJ D/G fics from annibug, Mynuet and Rainpuddle13 (w/c are awesome writers too!)...
My other D/G ships all include Ginny in them -- Oliver/Ginny, Remus/Ginny, & Colin/Ginny! Hehehe... she is my fave female HP character?!?!
I'm also a huge X-Files, Ally Mcbeal, One Tree Hill, Alias, Gilmore Girls, The Amazing Race, and Smallville fan! My other passion in life is Japanese animation... and my fave D/G fanarts are mostly Japanese-inspired in nature -- so if you know any sites that cater to this... PLS EMAIL ME A LINK ASAP!!!

Another brilliant chapter. Your Ginny reminds me of Claire Marvel and Louisa (from the novel Gordon by Edith Templeton). She's a tragic figure worth saving yet there's an air of mystery in her that's just so riveting I can't wait to see more of her.
I love your Draco -- he's selfish and at times cruel yet there is a kindness in him that's both raw and honest. I love it! And now that I'm reading more into it -- the story kinda reminds of Quicksilver. It's like you're finally letting us see Ginny's pain and how Draco intends to save her in his own terms!
PS: there are a few spelling errors in this chapter though -- minor ones really. And I was wondering if you're in need of a beta-reader because I would love to share to you a few plotbunnies that are roaming all over my head because of your fic... if you want to that is? *^^*
Author's Response: I never read that, actually. *makes mental note* I should pick it up at some point. I think I just elaborated more on the plot for Quicksilver. That one was a giftfic, so I glossed over a lot of things in it. IIRC, I got a lot of flak for the glossing over bits. ^^; Since this was written for no one in particular but me, I got a chance to dig around in the dark a bit. I did have a beta, but I never did get the actual doc back with markups because of each other\'s busy schedules, so I tried to catch as many typoes as I could. Drop me an e-mail if you like. I do have other stuff I\'m trying to slog through, and it\'s also of a pretty dark nature. :)

I haven't been reading that much D/G fics lately -- but yours is a real treat indeed!
And call me a perv -- but all I could think of after that last bit you wrote -- is Ginny heading off to the stables, sees Draco, gives him a passionate kiss, then whispers "tell me you want this as much as I do?" -- then shags each other's brains out! It has hot sex written all over the place!
PS: The 1st porn flick I saw by "accident" (I was a kid at the time looking over my brother's beta tapes) was about an heiress shagging her stable boy -- so forgive me if the thought of D/G making love in a pile of hay is so damn HOT! hehehe...

It was nicely done -- not too over-the-top but had the right amount of romance to make both character seem vulnerable. Maybe I've been reading way too many dysfunctional "adultery" novels, but I kept picturing D/G trying to continue on w/ their illicit affair under Lucius' suspicious watch. It has angst written all over the place -- if you need help w/ that, then I'm here for you!??! :D
PS: Does this mean we do get to see D/G having hot sex under a nice, warm, pile of hay??? ;p
Author's Response: I may take you up on that! I would love to get some advance feedback to see if I am missing anything. And... I still love the idea of the hay!!! Bit scratchy, I would think..... :) But YUM!

I love how you really took the time to really explore Draco's POV on this one. Him looking at the mirror reminded me of bathroom scene in HBP. Also, the fact that some of your readers wasn't able to figure out that Draco is Derek (love his Muggle name btw) just proves how great you've written Draco's personality in this fic! I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Yes! HBC is brilliant. I've always loved her as an actress, and this part was made for her. Her portrayal makes it very, very easy to write her here. I can't say the same about Bonnie Wright, who I find to be bland and emotionless. My Ginny looks nothing like her, BTW.

I have to say, I wasn't too keen on reading this fic in the 1st place, because I didn't find the summary too engaging -- good thing I decided to go through w/ it! I'm loving each & every chapter you've written so far, & how can anybody resist sweet & lovable Serena! Your characterizations are spot-on (though I can never get used to Good!Lucius), & the romance is oh so delicious!
As for what's going to happen next, I'm sensing that Ginny's going to have a new suitor, & Draco's not too keen about this. Might I suggest a certain Oliver Wood for this role (so that Serena will like him too, him being a Qudditch player -- thus driving Draco even more insane) or somebody from Ginny's past in the US. My plotbunnies are jumping like crazy over possible scenarios for the next chapter -- I'd love to share them w/ you, if you like? :D
Author's Response: I suppose I should go back and fix the summary. I am rubbish at wriing summaries of any kind. Serena has definitely stolen the show. She is quite adorable. I've always thought characterizations are my weakness. So, when I get reviews like yours, I'm elated. As for good Lucius, I think this more a reedeemed Lucius, him seeing the error of his ways. I am always open to suggestions. The next chapter is pretty much completed. It just needs to be tweaked a bit and then sent off to my beta. But you are more than welcome to share because I can always use your suggestions in later chapters. So, please do send me your tidbits.
