Draco has managed to raise two sons (with a wee bit of help from his lovely wife, Ginny) without scarring them (too much) for life. But now he has a pair of teenage daughters...Category: Works in Progress
Very, very clever. Thanks, as always, for the laugh.
Author's Response: Thank you! I so glad you enjoyed!!
2nd Place at Pud's D/G Fic Contest! Five years ago, Draco Malfoy was offered sanctuary by his mother’s cousins in India. Now, with the death of his father, the Malfoys need an heir, and Narcissa sets out to find her son a wife through the aid of the far-seeing, fortune-telling Morcant sisters, who decide upon none other than Ginny Weasley. Seeing this offer as a means of escaping the horrible war that has descended upon England, Ginny accepts their proposition, and finds herself in a foreign land engaged to a Draco Malfoy who seems to be a strange mix of the old and the new.Category: Long and Completed
Oh, you've left me wishing that there were more...but anyway.
Although you've never been to India (and I've never had that pleasure, either), I really do feel like you've captured the look and feel of how Draco and Ginny would each feel settling there. The foods and the colors and everything you've added only heighten the images that I can see in my mind's eye.
I also love your characterizations so far - even of your original characters, and I look forward to seeing where you take them next.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing! I\'m glad you\'re enjoying the story, and thanks for the praise on the two hardest parts of the story--capturing a place I\'d never been and OCs!
*Winner of Rainpuddle's Great Draco & Ginny Fic Contest 2006* Covert operative needed- Passport, intrigue and romance required; no experience necessary. Please enquire within.Category: Works in Progress
I definitely love the way this story has started. Intrigue, sarcasm, and a great plot all equal a wonderful fic in the making.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it so far! I am, as anyone who has read my fics know, a gigantic fan of the snark. Sarcastic boys like Draco are my crack, and I\'m cool with that addiction.
When a Quidditch incident sends Ginny Weasley into the Hospital Wing, Draco must conquer his innermost hysterical tendencies to endure her company throughout the duration of his detention. However, unbeknownst to him, sinister conspiracy has been woven by three unlikely allies.Category: Long and Completed
This was utterly fantastic. I didn't tear my eyes away from this story from the moment I read the first word. Every line was great, and the ending was hilarious. Even Draco's often frantic conversations with himself left stupid grins on my face. Wow. Ginny might as well have had a tin of lemon drops next to her bedside to freak Draco out even more.
Thanks so much for this story. I hope to read more from you in the future.
‘Like Mother like Daughter.’ Sometimes even trite sayings bear striking accuracy. Follow three different redheaded girls, divided by time and bound by blood, make the same disobedient choice.Category: Long and Completed
It's good to see that the cycle is ending somehwere, even if the most of the men in this story never learn!
This was wonderful. I always enjoy reading your stories, and this was no exception.
Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
Ah. Never try to stop a determined Ginny Weasley. Although the ploy that Narcissa, Molly, and Arthur have come up with might work... Draco still admires his father enough that he might heed him - if not out of fear.
Either way, what I liked most about this chapter was that Narcissa seemed very in character. It would have been a bit unnatural for her to have agreed so readily to Draco and Ginny's engagement. She behaved as I would expect her to: calm enough in front of Ginny, though not necessarily gushing with joy, and then cutting toward Molly and Arthur.
As I said before, nice job.
Author's Response: I love Narcissa so much, writing her fills me with enormous glee, in this story. She\'s so wicked.
As to the parents\' little plan...it\'s not quite what it seems *g* You\'ll see. Thank you!
Despite all of the trouble that Ginny's having with her family, this makes me wish it were Christmas right now, even though it's not even September yet. Lovely, scenic chapter.
Author's Response: Oh, me too :) Perhaps I should\'ve posted this around Christmas...but I didn\'t feel like waiting that long, lol. Thank you for reviewing!
Another great chapter. What I've come to like about this story is the love story between Lucius and Narcissa. I haven't read much Black family fiction (although there is loads of it out there), but your plot line so far really makes me want to read a companion to this that follows Narcissa and Lucius alongside Draco and Ginny.
I can really see the connection between them even though this story isn't geared toward their ship. Great job with that.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I\'m very pleased you find the L/N subplot interesting :) I love them, and I really want to write a companion fic, sometime.
Ahhh!! I love this story way too much. I just HAD to come read this chapter in the midst of my studying for exams, and I'm feeling so happy and satisfied right now... I LOVE THIS STORY!
Author's Response: *g* Thanks, I hope the fic didn't keep you from your studying for too long :)
Everyone makes mistakes. Some people are just better at escaping the consequences- through three centuries at least.Category: Works in Progress
Long live the king.
Very, very compelling beginning. This was wonderfully well written, and I do hope that you continue to write, even though you're coming off a sort of hiatus - or even though you thought you'd never be back, like you said. I could imagine everything really well in my head - especially the beginning with just Ginny and George: their tattered clothing, the snow, the sadness. I can't wait until the next chapter comes out. Great job so far.
I really hope that nothing happens to Molly before she and Ginny get to reconcile. That would be awful. But this was a great action packed chapter.
It's the summer before Ginny's fifth year, and she's forced to confront her prejudices when she stumbles upon Draco in the forest behind the Burrow. Ginny's trust is tested, and Draco's loyalties are questioned. They're forced to separate so they can resume their school lives, where Harry and Ginny are both trying to keep track of him, but for completely different reasons.Category: Works in Progress
Hmm...who stunned whom? I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Nice start.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Yes, you\'ll soon find out.
A collection of 100 word drabbles written for the Malfoy100 community at LiveJournal. And - of course - they are all complete little morsels of Draco/Ginny goodness.Category: Completed Short Stories
I loved entries 3 and 4, though all of these were great.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to review!
The Sadness of Fall was beautiful. Lovely, lovely job.
Author's Response: I love that line in that song...And one listen it just spoke to me of Draco regretting the loss of Ginny. Thanks again!! ~Ves
Ginny contemplates life as one window of opportunity closes. One-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories, Poetry
Nice story. Even though Draco and Ginny aren't together it's good to know that she can move on. Your poem is beautiful, as well.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
AU. The war is over and Voldemort is in power. Draco Malfoy has risen within the ranks of the new Ministry, whilst Ginny Weasley, her family dead, is a cage dancer at a wizarding nightclub.Category: Works in Progress
This story definitely sets a darker tone than most others, and I love it. You've set the scene really well in just one chapter, and I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with each character - even more, I wonder what Ginny will do when Colin leaves...
Very nice beginning.
He sees all the pitfalls and glories of death; how two lovers would cheat it, to how a torn family would face it.Category: Completed Short Stories
I sat here for a full two minutes. A full two minutes, just staring at the monitor. In reality, two minutes is an awfully long time, and I'm still mesmerized. I actually don't even know what to say.
I'm a bit speechless actually. Brilliant job.
Author's Response: Wow! Thank you so much!
After an unexpected attack on Hogsmeade takes the lives of several loved ones, Ginny Weasley is left with only grief as a remnant of war. But what she never anticipated, in the wake of all the tragedy, was to find her will to live again in the form of a bawling, grey-eyed baby left to die in the wreckage of battle... the baby of Draco Malfoy. REVISED VERSION.Category: Long and Completed
Oh no, everything is so tangled up. Ginny's still hung up over Blaise (I really wonder what happened to him; it seems so tragic), no one knows where Harry is, Ron's been attacked, and Draco got a woman - who doesn't want to marry him, who is spying on him - pregnant.
Ah. Let's see how they get out of this.
Good luck with everything, in terms of going off to college, I mean. I have a lot of friends who are just starting off on that this year as well, and they've got orientations and things to do.
Nice chapter.
Author's Response: Oh, yes, everyone is in a right mess, that\'s for sure! And thanks very much; my first day moving in was pretty terrible, but so far I\'m enjoying college life!
I wonder if this is his way of trying to protect the baby. Does Draco think that if people find out that Carina's pregnant with his child that they'll come after her, or it in the future. It's honorable of him in a weird way - she can lie for now if she chooses, but I don't think it would be right to do it indefinitely...
I hope James is all right. And what happened to Narcissa is awful, and somewhat ironic. Draco made fun of spell damaged people once, and now look at what's happened to his mother.
I'm glad you've found time to update so quickly, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Hmm, what are Draco\'s motives? Always a mystery. :) I know, it really depresses me that I had to do that to Narcissa, because especially after HBP, I really find her enjoyable to write! Thanks so much for your comments!

So, Ginny's become a bank robber? I have to say, though it shouldn't be funny, the idea of Ginny and Draco being the next Bonnie and Clyde is incredibly attractive, and sounds like a great story.
I'm looking forward to seeing where this is going.
Author's Response: *smiles* You\'ll see soon where this is going... Thanks for the review!
Telling the truth shouldn't be this hard.Category: Works in Progress
It's pretty ironic that Molly would call Ginny a blood-traitor, since Ginny could expect to get the same response from the Malfoy side.
And that was a nice little surprise ending! Although harsh!Molly deserved it.
Thanks for writing.

"Go!" he shouted. "No matter what happens, don't look back. I'll come for you, I swear it..."Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh, this was so nice. For some reason I still feel a little sad even though the ending was satisfyingly happy.
Great job.
Draco and Ginny have never had it easy from the very beginning, and the the years of bitter events have left a mark on their children. A bittersweet look at the past and present for a couple for who it was never going to be plain sailing... One shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
Why have I never read anything from you before? Do you even realize how amazing this story is??
I can't lie, what attracted me to this story was the title, not necessarily the summary, because "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows" is one of my favorite songs.
And even before I was near the end of this, I was amazed at how easily it seemed to flow, that you'd already created fully fleshed out characters without being overly descriptive in any way, shape, or form.
Even the argument they had was so normal and not exaggerated at all, that I was able to be just as nervous about it as the characters themselves.
I don't want to ramble. But this is easily one of my new favorite stories.
Nice work; I really hope you write more in the future.
Author's Response: *salutes fellow BN fan* I\'m really happy you liked the fic. I\'m fairly new to dracoandginny.com, but I\'ve been into D/G as a ship since.... Well. A long time ago [I don\'t even want to think how long ago, lol]. Thank you for all the compliments; I\'m secretly pleased because this fic [somewhat unknowingly] has come from some of my own experiences and it\'s one of few fics I\'ve written that I like.
Thanks once again :)
